Satisfied because of placement and campus life.
Placements: I am a fresher but I talked to so many seniors, and they told me that approximately 88 percent of students were placed in the last placement season. The highest salary is 4 LPA while the average is around 8 LPA. Around 30 percent of students got internships at Dell, Cognizant, and other companies. Top roles offered are data scientist and software engineer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is okayish while labs are good. Classrooms don't have smart board and library is fine too. Wi-Fi in hostel is poor and there is no speed. There is no connectivity. Food is fine like I mean the usual price curry and idli dosa for breakfast. Canteen is fine too but some foods are overpriced. Sports facilities are good. There are cricket ground, basketball court, and tennis court too.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant too plus the dedicated placement cell helps students in building projects for internships and placements. But the semester exams are difficult as it's held by VTU. Pass percentage is around 92.
Other: I chose CSE for placements only, and I think hostel facilities could be better as most of the facilities are below average. Events are extraordinary, I think. Surroundings are good too.

Review on CMRIT as a First year student.
Placements: CMRIT boasts great placement prospects and has solid industry relations. Top organizations frequently arrange visits to campus to recruit students for various available roles. The average package is around 7-8 LPA, while the highest package is around 48 LPA and the lowest is 5 LPA. CMRIT thoroughly prepares students for these opportunities with rigorous training, faculty guidance, and extensive placement support. The college also promotes internships and startups, producing students with real-world experience and providing students with the resources to work on their ideas. Overall, CMRIT ensures students are job-ready, confident, and prepared to begin their careers.
Infrastructure: The CMRIT hostel is comfortable and convenient for the students to concentrate on their studies and campus life. The food quality is good, and mess hours are reasonable and well-coordinated so they do not interfere with class times. Safety is prioritized and considered an important factor for both students and parents. Plus, there are vending machines providing snacks and light refreshment which is very useful. On the whole, the hostel provides a decent, conducive environment for students living independently.
Faculty: CMRIT's professors are welcoming and always willing to support students, both academically and personally. The program and classes are structured and current, allowing for clarity and understanding in learning rather than memorization of the material for exams. The college promotes engagement in co-curricular activities (CCA) beyond academics through a variety of club workshops and events to help develop creativity, leadership, and teamwork. With supportive professors, a well-organized curriculum, fair assessment, and a high level of CCA activity, learning experiences are smooth, engaging, and well-rounded overall at CMRIT!
Other: CMRIT is situated at a very convenient location for students. There are numerous food places, gyms, supermarkets, religious places, and PG in proximity that help in supplementing daily life. Whether it is grabbing a quick meal, buying daily essentials, or going to the gym, everything is just a short walk or drive away, making student life very comfortable.

Review of CMRIT from the first year's perspective.
Placements: In this college, generally 60-70 percent of students are placed. The top companies, such as Amazon, Microsoft, Intel, Deloitte, HP, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, and Capgemini, come for recruitment. The highest package bagged till now is 48 LPA. The placements happen for on-site too, like in Japan.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure exceed expectations. The food quality is good. Sports grounds are also good. The hostel warden is strict and responsible. As one class of CS (AIML), the learning experience from our faculty is fairly good, and the Wi-Fi is good too.
Faculty: The faculty is helpful. They are preparing us for real market exposure. Yes, this curriculum is relevant. Our batch being in only one class, we have selected faculty, and they are good. The semester exams are fairly hard, but there is a high percentage.
Other: Fees are 3.5 lakhs as per COMEDK.

Review of CMR Institute of Technology.
Placements: The placement rate is around 70-75 percent every year, and the average package ranges from 5 LPA to 6 LPA. The median salary is around 10 LPA to 12 LPA, and the highest package this year is around 42 LPA. The companies that come for placements are Deloitte, PhonePe, and Japanese companies.
Infrastructure: CMRIT has a modern and student-friendly campus that provides a good environment. The infrastructure is well developed. Most classrooms are spacious and equipped with smart boards. Large library with good seating capacity. The college has good canteen facilities.
Faculty: The teachers are very knowledgeable and helpful. The teachers uses various to resources to help understand the concepts. The faculty are very a approachable. The teachers take special classes for students who cannot grasp concepts quickly. They conduct tests regularly.
Other: This course is one of the most demanding courses in the current industry. The college plans events every week and sends regular emails about events happening inside and outside the campus. The fellow students in campus are friendly. They are regularly updated on government and private scholarship.

Academically great but decent otherwise.
Placements: CMRIT promises a 80 percent placement percentage. The highest package went up to 44.1LPA in 2025 which is the all time best received from this college. The lowest package can range from 3 LPA to 5 LPA. The 2022 to 2023 placement year had a lowest package of 5 LPA while another source lists 3 LPA as the lowest package in a more recent report. The average package is around 9 to 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: Bad hostel experience. Wi-Fi and food here are terrible. The hostel is an anti ragging free hostel. Some seniors are very arrogant and demand respect all the time. Hostel rooms are very clumsy and compact. Washrooms are always dirty and dimly lit. Wardens are very friendly.
Faculty: Good teachers with good knowledge and experience. Curriculum is great, and the semester exams are decently competitive. Most of the teachers have great past experience. None of them are strict and are very chill when it comes to bunking and attendance. They provide attendance to everyone who has a valid proof of staying back.
Other: CMRIT offers a great academic environment with good faculty, infrastructure and courses making it an ideal choice for students focused on engineering. It lacks extracurriculars. No major events like freshers or festivals are organized by the college, though hostelers enjoy more freedom and conduct their own. Sports facilities are limited with only a football turf, basketball, volleyball and table tennis courts, no badminton or a proper cricket ground. The huge parking lot can be better utilized for sports or another building. Overall CMRIT is excellent academically but falls short in sports, events and non academic experiences.

Very good college at a very good place. Definitely recommended to others.
Placements: Placements are quite decent here. Almost 7 LPA-9 LPA is the average package offered. The highest this year is 47 LPA in Japan. The college also has subjects related to placements, as well, which give us a head start in our placement journey. And it also has the NAAC A+ certificate.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very modern here. It has a very big ground in the middle, which looks so aesthetic. The hostel rooms have a range of 1-5 sharing rooms. Movie nights, garba nights, etc., also happen in hostels. The food is very good as well.
Faculty: Faculty here are very helpful, give answers to all types of doubts very sincerely, and the exam curriculum is also very doable, and teachers also prepare us well for the exams. They take flip classes and video classes to help students understand better.
