Good faculty, not bad classrooms and infrastructure, and average placements.
Placements: Since everyone is currently facing a recession, placement is lower than usual, the average salary is around INR 12 lacs, and only 50% of the students are currently placed in the final year. Various companies come in search of students, both service- and product-based companies.
Infrastructure: The hostel mess is not that good, but the infrastructure is pretty decent, mostly sufficient for everyone, including labs and classrooms. It is pretty difficult for day scholars to participate in any kind of sport activity because of the timing, but the club activities are good.
Faculty: The faculty are pretty decent; they are mostly knowledgeable, and most of them are pretty helpful. The courses are updated and industry-ready, and we think they would be pretty helpful for the industries. The exams are mediocrely difficult, but most can be cleared.

It is a good college for academics.
Placements: Around 90% to 95% of students get placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 35 LPA, the medium salary package is 15 LPA to 20 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Zoho, D. E. Shaw, Intel, and Microsoft.
Infrastructure: All the classrooms are well structured and maintained. Labs are air-conditioned. The library has a lot of books. Students can access the library using auto-lib applications. Many vegetarian and non-vegetarian food items are served in the canteen and mess.
Faculty: All the faculty members in our college are well-qualified and have a wide knowledge of their domains. The course curriculum is relevant for the future and it explains the industry's needs. Semester exams are not difficult. If students follow the instructions of the faculty members, they can easily pass exams.

It is a good college and is worth for study.
Placements: Around 97% of students get placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 35 LPA, the lowest salary package is 3 LPA, and the average salary package is 7 LPA. DE Shaw, AWS, HCL, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, and startup companies offer placements in our college. Developer and tester roles are offered in our college.
Infrastructure: Lab facility is good and classrooms have good infrastructure. The library is good with all types of books and good infrastructure. Free Wi-Fi is available on campus but it is not good. The canteen serves premium dishes.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good, helpful, and experienced. Unique courses are offered in our college. It is more useful for industry placements with all the requirements. Exams are moderately tough.

Review of Coimbatore Institute of Technology.
Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed in our course. In the year 2022-2023, more than 70% of students got placed in this college. The highest salary package offered was 36 LPA by DE Shaw. The average salary package offered ranges from 6 LPA - 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are DE Shaw, Tiger Analytics, TCS Digital, Zoho, Oracle, and Robert Bosch. Many students got 6-month internships in the final semester. Top roles offered are software developer, system analyst, data analyst, and full stack developer.
Infrastructure: Our classrooms are congested, and around 65 students can sit comfortably. Each student will be provided with a wooden desk. IT department has 4 computer laboratories. Computers are not maintained properly, and almost 20% of computers will not function. Air-conditioners are not available in our classrooms. Wi-Fi is available, but the password is protected. The library has a wide range of books. The library is open from 9.00 AM - 6.30 PM. The hostel has 2 shared rooms for boys. But the girls' hostel has 2-shared and 4-shared rooms. The hostel menu is repetitive, and a dispensary facility is available. Sports are also encouraged in this college.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and they have 10 years of teaching experience. Few teachers are not updated with the current generation. Our course curriculum is updated. This college follows 2019 regulations, and it meets all the requirements of the industry. Around 75% of attendance is mandatory for semester examinations. Students from 65-74% attendance will be called for a walk-in explanation session with certificates. The examination system is not good. There will be no application-based questions, and the question paper comprises theory questions except the mathematics paper. The pass percentage is 40%, nearly 20% for mid-semester examinations, and the rest 20% from homework, assignment, class test, viva, and seminars. Around 60% of total marks will be obtained from the end-semester examination and the IT department has a pass percentage of 73%.
Other: Fests are not conducted in our college. Scholarships are provided to meritorious students. The alumni network of CIT also provides scholarships to eligible students.

Placements are 100% here.
Placements: Last year placement Statistics of IT Department was about 90%. The highest package provided was 36LPA and the lowest is 4LPA. There are many companies recruiting us like Wipro, Zoho, Bosch, Deshaw, nearly 200 companies are there. You can be a ambassador for companies.
Infrastructure: There is a separate block was there for our department. Lab faciliare very good in our college. Free Wi-Fi is also there in laboratories. There are about 400 books, journals, question banks are there in our library. The quality of food in our hostel is above average. There is separate mess for boys and girls canteen is also there in our campus and some shops also there, stationary shop is also there. Sports are very good here. More tournaments will be conducted every month.
Faculty: All the teachers in our college are well qualified are very helpful in our studies and placements. There teaching techniques are also related to real world problems. The course curriculum for our department well designed one. It makes every prepared for final year placements.
Other: The faculty members are one of the best reasons for why I chose this course. They are very helpful for us both in academics and personal life.

Good, because of placements, okay with infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: In my course, more than 50 percent of students were placed. The highest salary was 1L per month, the lowest salary was 12.5k per month and average 40k per month. Top recruiting companies were DE Shaw, Akamai and Red Bus. Top roles offered are Developer and Analyst. The highest package offered to our department was 12lpa, the lowest was 1.5lpa and average was 5lpa. Only 25 percent of students got internship.
Infrastructure: In my department, Wi-Fi, project lab, library with separate section of my course books and Classrooms with fans and tubelight and also a projector is available. Staffs make use of projector to take class. In my hostel, each room have two fans and tubelight with Wi-Fi facility and also study light and table. In mess and canteen, food quality is good and all kinds of sports are available both indoor and outdoor.
Faculty: The teachers were more helpful in surfing new technology and teaching is good. Only some of the teachers have no sufficient experience to teach. Course make students ready to work in industries. They also teach about industry rules and policies. Curriculum is relevant.
Other: I choose this course because it is an emerging one and I love computer games so I took this course. I wish more advanced technological subjects must be included. Many cultural events and department curriculum events are organised . State and central scholarships are available.

Our college has the worst infrastructure in town.
Placements: Placements in the college are good. Many good companies visit the college for placements. The college doesn't provide any training for the placements. In the year 2018, the highest salary package offered was 33.01 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Many top companies visited the college namely DE Shaw, Samsung, and Amazon, etc., to offer placements. Mass recruiters are TCS, CTS, Infosys, and Accenture also visit the campus. There is a placement cell which does nothing for the placements of students.
Infrastructure: The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The download speed is below 100 kbps, so please don't expect to download anything using Wi-Fi. Classrooms are old and lack facilities. Labs are not well-maintained at all. The food served in the canteen is good, but the food served in the mess is terrible. The first-year hostel is the worst when compared to other colleges.
Faculty: Many teachers in the college are quite knowledgeable and super experienced. The problem is that they show attitude and lack interest in teaching you. The teaching method is very conventional, but modern techniques are not adopted. The curriculum is updated regularly, but it is with all the same old concepts. There are no new improvements in the curriculum.

I'm absolutely satisfied with our college.
Placements: Placements in our college were good compared to many other colleges. Companies which offer more than 10 LPA salary packages also visited our college. Few of them were ABCO, Acrolite, ServiceNow, Akamai, etc. The roles offered were of a software developer, developer trainee, associate consultant, etc.
Infrastructure: All the facilities provided on our campus are good. All the facilities provided are of good quality. The hostel rooms are very good. Food provided in the canteen is better than the food provided in the mess. The infrastructure of the main building is very bad. Quality of labs is very good. Wi-Fi facility is provided for everyone.
Faculty: Staff members in our college were excellent. They were friendly and taught us very well. They teach not only the chapters but also the topics related to current technology. They taught us from the books of foreign authors. They used practical teaching methods too. They gave seminars, PPTs, assignments and projects to improve our skills.
Other: Symposium is the best event organised in our college.
