College of engineering perumon is one among the best engineering college in kollam.
Placements: The placement cell here helps the students to undergo interview from 20+ institutions like Infosys, Wipro, ibm, Amazon etc. The highest salary offered nowadays are about 10lk CTC and it drops maximum upto 4lk CTC. More than 30% of the students gets placed in different mncs. Also more than 50% of students use to take internships as part of the course on different government institutions.
Infrastructure: The EEE department is the best one in our college, all the faculty members are good at subjects. The department has free Wi-Fi, advanced labs and department library along with uninterrupted power supply from the solar panels donated by the electrical students as part of their projects. Quality of food is good and facilities for sports and games are satisfactory.
Faculty: The teachers are good at the subjects and very helpful. The quality offered is very impressive. The department is strict about its teaching affairs and at the same time ensures that students get enough support and calm atmosphere to study. The course is very relevant and helps in getting part of main industries.
Other: The EEE course is one among the top job oriented courses available now. College conducts events and extracurricular activities every year with great effort.

Our faculty members are excellent, and the infrastructure is good.
Placements: Placements for our senior batch were poor. Only the placement drives conducted by companies like Infosys are held here. Some senior students attended interviews conducted by companies like Amazon with a good salary package. Only less than 50% of the students get placed every year. This year (2019), our college has been accredited by NBA for its branches EEE and EC. We hope the college makes its placement cell efficient enough. The college also offers internships. Our college also informs us about internships conducted by companies. One can do internships if he or she is interested.
Infrastructure: There are separate blocks for all branches. There are fully equipped labs in all branches. We also have labs for subjects like engineering physics and engineering chemistry. All the classrooms are equipped with whiteboards and projectors. Wi-Fi facilities are also available here. We have a good library with a lot of books. No hostel facilities are available for students. Quality of food served in the canteen is good.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Quality of teaching is awesome. Some of them use projectors rather than a whiteboard, and they try to represent all the concepts visually. This is very helpful for students to understand the concepts well. Our teachers who use whiteboards are also good at teaching. Most of the teachers and lab assistants are highly experienced. Since our college is affiliated to Kerala Technical University, we follow their syllabus.
Other: Our college conducts techfest every year, and they conduct many programmes and competitions. Students from other colleges are also invited to visit our college and participate in those events. This year (2019), our senior conducted a conference named Bill Kerala, and they made it a huge success. Workshops are usually conducted by IITs and NITs. The college also conducts arts fest and union games and sports events to encourage artists and sportspersons. Many scholarships are offered for engineering students by the government and college authorities. One can apply for those scholarships, and our office staff do the proceedings like verification.
