Yes, Coorg Institute of Dental Sciences has defined the age limit to apply for BDS programme. Aspirants must have completed 17 Years of age at the time of admission or shall complete this age as on the Dec 31 of the admission year. Besides, he or she must also be medically fit to undergo the course and practice dentistry.

Coorg Institute of Dental Sciences selects candidates for BDS programme based on NEET score. It is important for the aspirants to have document relevant to their eligibility and entrance exam. Below are the documents required at the time of admission:

• Rank card (NEET)
• SSLC/ Class 10 marksheet
• Class 12 marksheet
• Transfer Certificate
• Date of birth certificate (if it is not in the Class 10 scorecard)
• Aadhaar card
• KEA verification slip
• NEET result sheet
• KEA admission letter
• Blood group report
• Migration Certificate by Board (Not Applicable to P.U.C. Board students)
• OBC/Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe students should produce caste & income certificate
• Physical fitness certificate with marks of identification
• Photo copy of parent's PAN card
• Four nos. passport size and 2 nos. of stamp size photographs of student
• Passport size photographs of father & Mother (One each)
• Copies of passport of the candidate and parents in case of NRI aspirants
• Employment certificate of the parent in case of NRI students
• Sponsorship letter from the parents sponsoring their ward in case of NRI candidates

Aspirants must have passed Karnataka PUC II examination or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and English as one of the languages with at least 50% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST) in three subjects to apply for BDS course at Coorg Institute of Dental Sciences. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.
