The best college in Aurangabad for placements, events, and facilities.

Placements: College placements are the best. It invites a lot of companies for recruitments like Tata Motors, Infosys, Byju's, etc. The placement cell is also good for students. The average package of college ranges from 4-7 LPA.

Infrastructure: A 5-floor building is well-organised with each separate department. A library is provided with more than 1 lakh books of academics and others. There is a workshop for practice. Computer labs are available. There is a sports area for sports students. A huge campus is also available.

Faculty: The college is now autonomous. It provides an industry-relevant and updated syllabus to students. Faculty members are student-friendly, and for 22 students, there is one mentor for their personal academics and college problems. Staff members are available 24x7 for students.

Other: I chose the mechanical engineering course in this college because the mechanical branch is a core branch. There are a lot of opportunities in mechanical engineering to start our own business, and it can't be replaced by AI.

My college is very good. It has a big campus.

Placements: My college has 120 students in my course. The highest salary package is 9 lakhs per year. The top recruiting companies for my course are Tata, Bajaj, etc. About 60-75% of students get internships from companies like Tata, Bajaj, etc.

Infrastructure: This college has the best facilities. There are lots of Wi-Fi connections, various labs, big classrooms, and lots of libraries, including a book library, a motivation book library, a chemistry lab, a mechanics lab, and more. The mess and canteen have good quality food.

Faculty: The teaching quality of our facilities is very good and makes the material understandable. Our passing percentage is 75-80, and the semesters are not very difficult because they follow the syllabus. In the first year, you will experience a variety of practicals that you will definitely enjoy and can apply in your later life.

An average option for a career, but discipline is everything here.

Placements: There are no specific placements. Only nearby companies with low packages are invited to the campus, and most of the companies come for internships. The placement is very poor and unsatisfactory. More courses and seminars are needed to secure offline placements.

Infrastructure: Hostels are clean and safe. The college campus is smaller compared to other colleges in Aurangabad, and branches are allocated floor-wise due to a lack of space. The canteens are not clean but are pocket-friendly. The infrastructure is not very attractive, and Wi-Fi is not available for students unless you crack the password.

Faculty: Some faculty members are really nice, cooperative, and motivating, but most of the teachers seem to focus on their own careers. Exams are conducted very strictly, and no one can cheat. In terms of discipline, it ranks top among all colleges.

Other: The electrical branch is not available in the college. The only branches offered are mechanical, computer, civil, ENTC, and the newly added AIML.

Take charge of your career with Deogiri.

Placements: The placements are average; some of the students will get placed in big MNCs, but most of us will be in regional companies. The highest package is INR 12 LPA, and the average package is INR 3 LPA. All the students in their final year got internships from the college.

Infrastructure: The facility of Wi-Fi is available in labs, but you cannot use your phones in college because jammers are everywhere. College is more like a school for us. The canteen is outside of the college; it has good food and sitting facilities, and the sports ground is in front of the college.

Faculty: The teachers are like friends to us; this is one of the best things about this college. In every path of your life, like career and other things, you can definitely take the guidance of a teacher. The course makes you industry-ready. The exams are difficult to pass, especially math.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and hostel is excellent. The mess food is delicious. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Our classrooms are very neat and clean. The hostel facilities are good.

Other: Our college organises many events, like a traditional day, dance competitions, debate competitions, internships, and workshops.

Our college gives importance for discipline.

Placements: Around 1500 students got placed in MNCS in the past 3 years. Top recruiting companies are Rucha Engineers, Infosys, TCS, Mahindra, and many more. Around 40% to 50% of students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. Students get internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: Many facilities are provided in our college for students. There are classrooms for German and Japanese languages.

Faculty: Around 90% of teachers have completed their Ph.D. They are knowledgeable and provide industrial mentors for students. The pass percentage is 80% to 90%. Students are made ready for industry through internships.

Other: I chose this course because my home town is Aurangabad which is an industrial hub. Many clubs like coding clubs for all branches and other clubs like movie, photography, debate, tracking, cycling, etc.

To summarise, the college is not up to the mark.

Placements: In 2022, as far as any batch is concerned, around 7% of students who got placed in our course. In 2022, the highest package offered was 2 LPA and the lowest package offered was 0.95 LPA. This is a review of Deogiri Institute of Engineering and Management Studies from a CSE Student. Top companies like BYJU'S, Nirlape, Aurangabad Auto Ancillary visited campus. No students got any internships. Top role offered was Trainee Engineer.

Infrastructure: In 2022, classrooms are good. Wi-Fi facility is available in the library for our course at least. I was not living in a hostel, so I am not so aware of the hostel facilities. The canteen food is average, medical facilities are not up to the mark and for sports, the ground is available but the equipment is unavailable. Permission to use the sports ground was never granted to us.

Faculty: In 2022, the teachers were qualified and helpful, but still lacked knowledge. Teaching quality was average. The course curriculum is very outdated and does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are of medium difficulty. The pass percentage is around 40%.

Other: In 2022, I chose this course to find myself a good job in the technical field. I do not think there is anything particularly great about the course. The course is way too outdated. It needs to be updated. Very few events happen. The events are not up to the mark.

I am absolutely dissatisfied, and none of the students gets industry-ready.

Placements: The lowest salary package offered here is 1.2 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Companies which recruit students from here are Just Dial, Goodyear, Faurecia Automotive Seating India Pvt Ltd and Dhoot Transmission Pvt Ltd. Less than 50% of the students got internships. Top roles are not offered here.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available here, but there are labs, classrooms and a library. Hostel facilities are the worst, and there are no sports. The mess and canteen facilities are average, and medical facilities are not provided for hostel students. Average quality food is available, and the food is not good at hygiene.

Faculty: Teachers here are helpful and qualified, but their teaching quality is poor. The course curriculum doesn't make students industry-ready. Teachers are good, but the course does not have any concepts of industries. Industry-oriented programs are not available for students.

Other: I chose this course because of the industrial profession. Industry-ready concepts are not introduced in this course. Events are organised, but the campus connectivity is less. Campus surroundings are neat and clean, but the crowd is poor. Scholarships are provided by the government. Extracurricular activities are minimum, and it is difficult to manage with academics.
