College organises great events and infrastructure, but placements disappoint.
Placements: Only 10% of students are placed in B. Tech Electronics and Computer Engineering batch 2024. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA and the lowest salary offered is 2 LPA. Top recruitment is from Vodafone India. Roles offered are software developer, data analyst, and cloud developer.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are average, while labs and libraries are beautiful places. No Wi-Fi is provided in college. Campus is also awesome. Pillai College is famous for Algeria, a big event. Quality of hostel is not up to the mark due to food. Medical facilities are not provided in college. Sports like football, volleyball, and badminton are popular in our college.
Faculty: Some teachers are knowledgeable, approachable, and excellent support. But, most lacked engagement and practical teaching methods, which affected overall academic experience. Curriculum was theoretically relevant, covering essential concepts, but practical applications and industry-aligned training are lacking. This created a gap between academic learning and industry requirements, leaving students less prepared for real-world challenges. Semester exams were relatively easy, with a focus on straightforward concepts. Pass percentage of 75% reflected a fair evaluation system, but ease of exams didn't challenge students to develop critical problem-solving or technical skills effectively.

Review of Pillai College of Engineering.
Placements: The placement of this college is good. Companies like TCS, Reliance, and Capgemini recruit students from here. They also help students to get internships sometimes. They have a separate placement committee which helps students to get placements from the campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great; they have good classrooms and enough space for students on campus. They also have a nice library and digital library. You can access Wi-Fi by seeking permission. Every classroom has sockets for charging your laptops.
Faculty: The faculty is very good and helpful. They help whenever you need assistance. The teaching pattern and method are also excellent. They do have supplementary exams, so if you fail, you can appear for those instead of having direct KT.

College gives you a lot of opportunities you just need to grab them.
Placements: I heard from some of my senior friends that placements are pretty good in this college. About 140 companies visit every year. Apart from that, almost every student can get internships during the four-year course, you just have to contact the placement cell.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great. The premises are always kept clean. The library is well maintained with every possible book, labs consist of all the required equipment, canteen is hygienic. I don't stay in a hostel but I heard that hostel is also safe and secure for students.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive and friendly. They help you with everything related to the curriculum. They are strict when it comes to your academics. The semester papers are of moderate difficulty level. As it was our first offline batch after the pandemic, it was a bit of a roller coaster ride for every student.
Other: I am a student in my first year in Electronics and Computer Science branch. We are the first batch after the college achieved autonomous status. Autonomous bought a positive change to our curriculum.

Pillai College of Engineering provides a clean campus, good facilities, and a good crowd.
Placements: The percentage of students who get placed in my course is approximately 85-90%. The highest package is 32 LPA, and the average package is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Reliance and Jio. 75-80% of students get internships. Roles like machine learning, research, and design are offered in the ECS course. Overall, it is a good college and I recommend students join this college.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good and Wi-Fi is also good. Classrooms are okay but there are ventilation issues. My friends that live in the hostel said that the food is not that good there.
Faculty: Teachers are good and help in doubt-solving. Some teachers do not explain the concept properly but their notes are good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes us industry-ready. End-semester exams are fine as it is an autonomous college we are prepared for it. 75% is the pass percentage.

Satisfied because of faculty members, events, and placements are also decent.
Placements: In my course last year, the highest package offered by Flipkart was 32 LPA. The college helps students in getting internships if they are eligible. The college is good in terms of placement and resources for the internship and placement. Tata, Infosys, Jio, Capgemini, HCL, and many more companies are the recruiters.
Infrastructure: In engineering, there is no AC, but the campus is full of Wi-Fi. The library is good. The hostel facilities provided are also good. The canteen is the best part of the college. They are very good in terms of events and programs. The college life is best here. It is worth taking admission here.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and very supportive. Our college is autonomous which means the curriculum is designed industries oriented. College semester exams are easy to pass and high scoring if you regularly give two hours daily. Almost all students clear the sem exam.
Other: I chose this course because it gives exposure to both software and hardware engineering as well as because of my interest in the semiconductors industry. Alegria is the top fest in the Navi Mumbai region organized by our college.
