Absolutely recommended for career-centric students.

Placements: About 90% of students got placed. The highest package offered is 5 LPA. The lowest package offered is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiters are Infosys, Accenture, and Wipro. About 100% of students got internship offers. It is mostly from research institutes like Sitra, CSIR, ICAR, and Sacon. Roles offered are laboratory assistant, medical code, associate analyst, patent filer, and so on.

Infrastructure: Various facilities and amenities are provided to us like extensive cum individual laboratories for the verticals, a vast library with huge digital and paper copies of books, journals, articles, proceeding compiles, and so on. Facilities in the hostel are Wi-Fi, individual/shared cots, a well-furnished relaxing area, and various games or sports facilities for leisure time. But the drawback lies in the food quality which is served to us. I would rate it 3 for its quality (just taste concerned, not health-wise).

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, approachable, and extremely knowledge to teach and guide students. The teaching quality is super good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes people ready for the industry. The semester examinations are strict and as per university standards. The questions are the best in quality rather than simply saying it as difficult. The pass percentage is about 40%.

Other: I chose this course because I loved bioscience since middle school. The best thing about this course is its practical/lab exposure and especially from DRNGPASC.

The campus crowd is not good, everything else is great.

Placements: More than 100 companies come to our college for the recruitment of students each year. The average package is 8 lakh rupees per year. The college has a placement percentage of 90% on average on a year-on-year basis. The roles offered are also good.

Infrastructure: The facilities on the campus are great; they have very well-diversified departments that cater to almost all the requirements of the students. The college has a research centre for all the students; the college also has labs; and the food quality in the mess is also good.

Faculty: The teachers in the college are good; they are nice; they help us in and out and throughout our campus life. The college also has a curriculum that is very relevant to industry standards. The semester exams are also really not that difficult to crack.

Good college because of faculty and lab facilities.

Placements: 50% to 70% of students get placed in reputed companies. Taking a look at biotech companies, the opportunities are fewer. The biotechnology course in NGP is good, looking into the curriculum, and experiential learning. Biotech students are asked to attend an internship of one month for hands-on training.

Infrastructure: The biotechnology curriculum and laboratory are good. You would get experiential learning in labs, and various instrumentation is available to help students learn more. Canteens are also available in colleges, and non-vegetarian food is also provided. The snacks taste really good.

Faculty: The curriculum is excellent, and exam patterns are also better compared to other colleges. The faculty is also good. The biotechnology course in NGP is good, looking into the curriculum and experiential learning. Biotech students are asked to attend an internship of one month for hands-on training.

Other: Opting for a bachelor's degree is good at NGP. I'm not sure about the masters. There are lots of events that happen, like NGP fest, culturals, traditional day, Pongal celebration, etc., fun-loaded events.
