Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University (DSPMU) admissions can be done with 60% in Class 12th, but it will also depend on the course you apply for and the competition for that course.

For some courses like,  MBA and BBA minimum 50% is required alng with the CUET score. For getting admission in B.A. and B.Sc, the minimum eligibility requirement is 50% in Class 12th or JAC 12th.  However, for other courses, such as B.Com and BBA, the minimum eligibility requirement is 60% in Class 12th.

At the undergraduate level, Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University offers BSc, BA, and other courses to students. The university also provides PhD courses to students. The Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University is a government university. It was established in 1926 as a Government Intermediate College and  it was upgraded to a state university in 2017. It offers scholarships and financial aid to students from economically backward backgrounds.  It is one of the oldest government college in Ranchi with a very low fees. It offers in total 39 courses across 6 streams. This college also has 149 total faculty members.
