DRIEMS University: An overview and review.

Placements: The percentage of students getting placements in this course is about 65 percent. The highest package offered was 6 Lacs per annum and the average package is about 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies for this course are Ajatus, Purnam, Bourntech, Q Spider, Nucleus Software, etc. The percentage of students getting internships is 40 percent. There are various roles offered in this course such as section engineer.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very good having a large area of the campus and building blocks of each department are separated. The classrooms are of various types such as smart classrooms and normal classrooms. For each department, specific practical labs are available in good conditions.

Faculty: The teachers or the faculty members of this college are supportive but they don’t have much idea about teaching and explaining any topic in a better way. They don’t have the skills of making others understand. This course is curriculum relevant and it makes the students industry ready. The semester exams are not very difficult and the average percentage of passing students is about 90 percent.

Other: This course is very demanding in the future as you all know about the new establishments of semiconductor plants in India. There are not more than two events organized in a year.

Placements: The placement percentage is 80-85%. The packages of the students may vary according to the students' knowledge and skills. The companies are most reputed companies in the corporate sectors like Wipro, TCS. The top roles like chip manufacturers and system designers.

Infrastructure: The total course fee is 1.43 LPA, which also includes the hostel charges. They provide students with the facilities to borrow books from the library for their use. There is 24*7 internet connectivity available for the students' use. The food quality of the college is almost good information. They provide lots of opportunities to the students for sports activities.

Faculty: The teachers of the college are well qualified, and they are very much helpful and friendly in nature. They help students in their difficulties related to studies and personal development. Teachers' main motive is to prepare students for the future to face the corporate world and apply their knowledge and skills as required. The difficulty level of the college exams is high.

Other: The culture of the college is heart-touching. The college management organizes lots of technical and cultural events according to the students and festivals, respectively. The reason behind opting for this course is I have a little bit of interest in chip design and their manufacturing processes. There is 24*7 internet connectivity available for the students. There is no reservation, and scholarships are available for students.

It has very good infrastructure, a huge and good library and a sports complex for fitness.

Placements: A good percentage of seniors gets placed last year, and they are perfectly settled in different companies. There was a good percentage of students who got an average salary. Many MNCs visit our college last year, but TCS is one of the most famous companies which recruit students from our college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department and hostel is good. There is also a Wi-Fi facility in the hostel for students. Labs are comfortable for students and clean also. Quality of food served in the mess is not that good, but it is above-average. There is a menu in a mess in which different food items were mentioned that was followed by mess staff.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are good, well-knowledgeable, and they are very much supportive. Teaching quality was also good, and they make sure that not a single students get doubt about any topic. There are many industry visits in engineering, and all format has a different department. There are different teachers in different departments.

Other: I have chosen this course because the electronics branch is one of the most famous branches. In the upcoming few years, this branch will have high demand in our country. It is IT related, so students get placed under the IT company or can go into the core sector.

An all round exposure, Excellent faculty members, Placements improving.

Placements: Last year 86% students from Electronics and telecommunication got placed and this branch in the institution had the highest placement record. The average annual package was around 3.2 LPA. Following this was the branch Computer Science and engineering with a placement record of 85%. The highest salary offered was 5.2 LPA. Companies like Amazon pay, royal Enfield, TCS, IndusInd bank, Federal bank and TATA STEEL are major recruiters.

Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are decent and the quality of food served is also satisfactory. The hostel has a clean environment. The washrooms are clean. Driems group of institutions has a massive 167 acre campus with facilities like gym, swimming pool, sports complex and has 2 food courts within the campus. Set admit the nature, the campus will develop a special place in your heart. The College also has a very well maintained library which is well furnished. The College also provides 24 hr Wi-Fi facility with good speed.

Faculty: The faculty members are very supportive. The best thing that makes DRIEMS a reputed institute in Odisha is only due to the hard work of its professors and their understanding with the students. The teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The institution also organises Various seminars and internship opportunities.

Other: Studying in DRIEMS has been a wonderful experience with a great exposure to many things. The College organises an annual fest called Vasantika, which will surely move your heart. The institution also provides scholarship to meritorious students.

Other: Facility provided is good. Faculty and placement is average. If someone wants to enjoy his/her college life than it is very good place. Library is very good. All related books are easily available. Infrastructure is very good. I think it is one of the best colleges if we compare to the infrastructure of others.

Other: DRIEMS College which is located in tangi, Cuttack is an institution spread over 100 acres with fabulous infrastructure and environment friendly campus. It has NAAC accreditation with grade A. The faculty members of DRIEMS are very good, they have many years of experience.

Other: It is average kind of college. The faculty members are very good. College infrastructure is also good. Internal management are superior. College placement is worst. You can expect a single MNC. It is coming under BPUT University which is not recommended because of exams timing and results.

Our college has excellent infrastructure and better faculty members.

Placements: About 45% of students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA. Top recruiters were IT companies. About 20% of students got internship offers from IT companies. Top roles offered in our college were associate software developer, junior programmer, and software development engineer. We were satisfied with placements in 2022.

Infrastructure: It had unlimited Wi-Fi, advanced computer labs, and good classrooms. It had the best library with a clean and quiet environment. It had 200000 books on different technologies. The food quality was excellent. Free internet facilities were available 24X7.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was better. Other mentors were also collaborative. The course curriculum was relevant. It made students industry-ready. Semester exams were a little difficult. The pass percentage was 35%.

Other: I chose this course to become a software developer in the IT industry. The best thing about this course was that it provided everything from basic computer knowledge to advanced software design fundamentals. The course was better. Events and festivals are conducted every academic year.
