The college is very popular and reputed. Faculty members of this college are well qualified.

Placements: 70% of students got placements last year. The highest package of ETC department is 12 LPA. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA. TCS and Infosys are top recruiting companies for this course. Top roles of the college are learning variety of skills like web development, Matlab, Java, etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for ETC department are labs with individual systems with AC classrooms. Different types of placement programs are held. Hostel facilities are very nice. Food quality is good. Wi-Fi connection, clean bathrooms, and medical facilities are available. There are different types of sports events held in a year. Every classroom has smart tv connection.

Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly with sharp talent. Faculty members guide students very sincerely. The semester and internal exams are running very strictly. Faculty members guide students to carry a better rank in semester and entrance exams. The passing percentage of the college is 95%.

Other: B.Tech in electronics and telecommunication department is a demanded course. The course is very demanded in placements and software companies. The cultural fest, branch fest, and other inter-sports programs are held every year. Campus surroundings are very good. Every student is getting scholarships every year from government of Odisha.

College is good. You can take admission in our college. Education is really good at our college.

Placements: Placements are not so good. The average package is 2 LPA. The companies in Odisha are rare and getting jobs in it is rare. Sometimes students find themselves in courses or majors that don't match their interests or skill sets. This can be due to a lack of proper guidance during course selection or decision made hastily without fully understanding the long term implications. Students who feel mismatched academically might struggle to keep up leading to frustration lower grades or a sense of unfulfillment in their studies.

Infrastructure: Hostel food is very bad, although it is hygienic. The taste is like for hostelers, nutritional but basic meals aim to be filling rather than gourmet. It has a repetitive menu and limited variety often rotating weekly. It has mild flavor and is cooked in bulk so taste is often less personalized. It has cost-effective ingredients and more focus on affordability than quality.

Faculty: Faculty members are good. They are also very strict and rude. They are not so supportive. But most of the faculty members are knowledgeable. One of the primary qualities of good faculty member is their expertise in the subject they teach. Faculty members who deeply understand their field and stay current with the latest research and developments can provide students with an enriching academic experience. Their depth of knowledge not only makes the learning process more engaging but also ensures that students receive accurate, relevant and up to date information.

Other: The fee is not so high so we couldn't expect more than what we get.

I'm very satisfied with this college. College is also improving day by day.

Placements: 60% to 70% of students got placed from our college, which is not bad. The highest I think pass-out batches have got 12 LPA from ETC branch. Top recruiting companies are Tata, Airtel, and many more. 20% to 30% of students also got internships. To be honest, I don't have any knowledge about any roles offered in our course.

Infrastructure: There are a maximum number of classrooms available in our college. A new central library is also opened and a reference has also been there inside our college. Practical labs and workshops have certain facilities. There are a total of 5 hostels out of which 3 are of boys and 2 are of girls. All of them provide good quality food.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful here. We are getting the chance of being taught by highly qualified teachers. They are very friendly and understandable. They clear our doubts after class time like free time. Course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Semester paper is medium-level. Pass percentage is also good.

Other: Especially in this course, I feel very bright future and having high chances of getting good jobs. Especially in my branch Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering as semiconductors are being focused on nowadays, so it also has a great future. Events and extracurricular activities are very fine here. We are enjoying these.

The facilities need to be consistent and placements need to be improved.

Placements: The number of students placed in our college is above 50%. They are well placed. The highest package of our college is 7 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are Tata, Scale, and many other companies. The percentage of students getting internships from our course is around 40%. There are very less chances of getting internships in core companies. There are many prestigious and well-defined roles offered such as VLSI engineer, signal analyst, etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are very excellent as we have various library and reference sections. Labs are neat and well-equipped. The quality of facilities is quite low but manageable. The quality of food is good. The room space needs to be improved and well-maintained.

Faculty: The teaching quality of the teacher needs to be improved. Teachers should be punctual but some teachers are quite good. The course curriculum is quite outdated because it needs to be improved. Semester exams are quite moderate, not too easy or not too hard. The pass percentage of our college is 70%.

Other: I chose ETE course because it is a demanding course. It is a core branch and has good scope for growth in the future. The thing that I wish would be better is if average package of the college is increased and to provide better placements. Events, fests, and other extra-curricular activities are usually held in the spring season.

Parala Maharaja Engineering College at its best view.

Placements: The placement is very poor in our college, and in the ETC branch, very few students got placed. Furthermore, the salaries for these placements are too low. The highest package was 3.5 LPA, while the lowest was 1.5 LPA. Students were mostly placed in teaching roles. Companies like Tata Power, Mahindra Satyam, and Wipro visited our college.

Infrastructure: Our department has good and high-tech labs, but they are only for show and not meant for student use. Students are not allowed to enter these labs. The classrooms are also good considering the conditions. The hostel is old and has poor infrastructure. Worst of all, the food is tasteless and unhygienic.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified and helpful. However, some faculty members are poorly mannered and behave rudely with students. The current course does not adequately prepare students for industry roles, and students are required to take extra courses during their final year to be eligible for placement drives. The semesters are quite difficult to pass for the ETC branch, and the course itself is challenging and demanding.

Other: This is a government college that provides vast exposure to different fields, which is why I chose this course. The courses provide a good basic understanding, but they need to be updated by BPUT. Our college organizes an annual tech fest every year, and various clubs also operate on campus.
