Admissions to regular BTech programme at Dronacharya College of Engineering is based on four online off-campus counselling. During first and second counselling, admission is made on the basis of JEE Main score. For remaining seats, third and forth counselling are conducted by HSTES to grant admission to the candidates based on Class 12 merit.

Dronacharya College of Engineering accepts JEE Main/ HTES, and OLET scores to offer admission to BTech and BTech (Lateral Entry). Admission to BTech at Dronacharya College of Engineering is conducted by four online off-campus counselling sessions. During the first and second counselling, admission is made based on JEE Main score. For the remaining seats, third and fourth counselling is conducted by HSTES to grant admission to the candidates based on Class 12 merit. Direct admission is also possible to BTech.

Admission to BTech programmes at Dronacharya College of Engineering is either entrance-based or merit-based. Students seeking admission at Dronacharya College of Engineering are required to have a minimum aggregate of 45% in class 12 from a recognised board. Furthermore, students are also required to qualify for JEE Mains with a valid score, as admission to BTech programmes is done by a four-stage online off-campus counselling. During the first and the second stages of the counselling admissions are based on JEE Main Scores. 

As per the latest report, the the highest package offered so far during placement 2023 stood at INR 29.74 LPA and was made by Adobe India. Further, the participating recruiters have placed above 240 students of the college in various job roles.
