Dyal Singh Evening College: The Review.
Placements: The average package of placements can range from 8 to 9 LPA. The college has a placement cell that conducts placement drives known as internship fairs. Students of all years and courses can participate in it and get internships and job opportunities. The placement cell regularly posts about the internship opportunities available, along with the stipend and the criteria for them. However, job opportunities are not that plentiful.
Infrastructure: The location of this college is conveyance-friendly, as it shares a boundary with the JLN metro station. The campus has CCTV available for vigilance. There are two academy blocks: the NAB block and the SPS block. There is a library building for the students. A vast playing field for football, cricket, volleyball, a basketball court and an area for playing Kabaddi are also available. There is a beautiful butterfly garden for clicking pictures. A canteen is available, which sells items at subsidized rates. There is an amphitheater and auditorium, which can accommodate about 50–100 students. There is a conference room as well as an infirmary in case of emergencies. Overall, the infrastructure is appealing to the students.
Faculty: The faculty present at this college is very helpful. Most of the faculty members are graduates of Delhi University itself and are highly skilled in their respective fields. The students are expected to be present on time for the classes. The faculty is usually interactive and friendly in nature. They can provide leniency in attendance and assignments based on the situation of the student. In case of issues of attendance or ragging, the students can approach their respective heads of department as well as the principal of the college.
Other: The campus life is lively as the students attending the college are studious, determined and well-concentrated. There is a yearly festival that takes place. Fresher and farewell parties are hosted by the respective departments. There are several clubs for art, culture, singing, photography, modelling, consulting and finance. These clubs consist of students willing to learn new skills and increase their networking. The crowd is helpful and interactive. College selection takes place every year, through which the college president is selected. Students can present their grievances to the president in case they arise. I chose my course, which is B.Com., because a Bachelor of Commerce is the foundation for most of the important degrees that we can pursue in the future, and it is the foundation for the basic level of accounting and commerce that any commerce student should know. The curriculum is well prepared for real-life scenarios; however, it is more textbook-based, and the real-life application comes from real-life experience rather than the textbook knowledge that we studied. There can be improvements made in the areas of difficulty of the exam so that the students actually learn for the exam and do not just cream the topic last day.

Dyal Singh evening college, Delhi university .
Placements: There's a placement cell present in the college that conducts the internship fair every year and helps students build their performance and CV. The college organizes the placement interview every year for the graduation students and helps them get great packages. The average package is 5 to 7 LPA, and the highest is 23 LPA.
Infrastructure: Dyal Singh evening college consists of 2 main buildings, nab and sps, with an amphitheater, auditorium, ncc ground, and a football ground. The college doesn't provide hostel rooms; you have to find a PG or flat nearby with a minimum cost of 5,000 to 10,000. Apart from the infrastructure, this is the second-largest college in South Campus.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and guiding. They are all Ph.D. graduates with many year of experience in teaching. They all have their own techniques in teaching and are very regular with classes. The courses curriculum is not very complicated; mostly there are 7 subjects 3 core, 1 general electives, 1 sec, 1 vac, and 1 AEC, you can choose the subjects as your choice except the core subject.
Other: The college is overall average, with metro proximity, Wi-Fi, basic necessities, etc. You can opt this college as per your choices and comfort.

Evening colleges aren't very bad.
Placements: Last year, around 40% of students got on-campus placements in the B.Com batch. The highest salary package offered is around 13 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are KPMG Global, EY, GDS, Grant Thornton, NIIT, Genpact, Wipro, Bajaj Capital, etc. Around 5-10% of students get internships from our course. Companies like Sharekhan, KVCH, Oracle, LIC, Rupeemakers, Yes Bank, and Young Engine visit the college for internship fairs. Roles offered are investment analyst, management trainee, etc.
Infrastructure: Dyal Singh has great infrastructure and a good amphitheater. It has a moderate auditorium. We have a great basketball court, cricket ground, and football field combined with a big NCC facility. There is a big library where students can find every book in every course. There is Wi-Fi in the library, so everyone can use it. The chemistry and physics labs are very good. The quality of the food in the canteen is moderate at a very affordable price.
Faculty: Our teachers are highly qualified. They have in-depth knowledge of their respective subjects. They are helpful and have decent teaching methods. The B.Com course provides a brief knowledge about the commerce industry and open ways for students in the industry. Semester exams are at a moderately difficult level. Around 85% of students clear the whole examination with no subject back.
Other: I chose this course because I want to study more about the commerce industry and open my way toward a good career ahead. B.Com provides a brief knowledge of every aspect of commerce to students. There should be a better admission process in DU selection. Events like Rajnigandha take place, which is amazing and enjoyable. There are many fests in the whole DU, which are easy to enter. The campus crowd is great. Many societies and clubs are formed for extracurricular activities.

Dyal Singh College- A Comprehensive Review.
Placements: The placement is decent according to the overall University of Delhi standards and great by the country standards, as many top companies in the country and MNCs come here for recruitment. The average package offered is around INR 7 LPA, which is mostly offered to commerce and economics graduates.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Dyal Singh Evening College and Dyal Singh College combined is one of the best in the entire Delhi University, not the best. It is situated in the best area compared to any other college. It is located in the heart of Delhi. It has a great number of classrooms and other spaces, which are also very well maintained.
Faculty: The teachers are very experienced and highly qualified. Most of them are really helpful and encouraging. All of them share a great passion for teaching and genuinely care about the future of the students at the college. If you are respectful towards them, they won't ever deny you a helping hand.
Other: The location of the college is amazing, near the JLN Stadium metro station. The crowd is fine. The fests are full of enthusiasm, but not a lot of big celebrities come to the fest due to budget constraints.

Absolutely this is a very good college with affordable feels.
Placements: Placement support exists via a college placement cell and an internship fair. However, opportunities are reported as limited and mainly accessed by higher CGPA students, e.g., 8 CGPA. Placement states vary widely. Shiksha reviews note 25%-60% placement rates across courses, with packages ranging from 2.5 LPA-15 LPA, averaging 5 LPA-7 LPA in top cases. Other sources mention speak of 10 LPA-36 LPA, with average packages from 4 LPA-5 LPA to 5.7 LPA. Honesty, the placement of this college is very poor, as very few companies give placement to this college.
Infrastructure: DSEC offers undergraduate courses in Arts and Commerce, including B.Com (Hons) B.A. (Hons) in History, Political Science, English and the B.A. Program. Annual fee is low, roughly about 12,700-13,300 for core courses. Hence, making it a strong value-for-money option. The campus is adjacent to JLN Metro Station, offering excellent accessibility. The lush, central location also places it near key areas of Delhi like Khan Market and CP. Facilities include a spacious library (connected to DUS N-List e-resources), sports grounds, auditorium, cafeteria, IT labs, medical services, and Wi-Fi.
Faculty: Faculty members are generally well-regarded. Shiksha average rating is 4.1/5, with ~ 80% of reviewers rating faculty at 3-5 stars. Teachers as qualified, approachable, and supportive. The curriculum is moderate in difficultly, and assignments area. Students are overly burden sometimes, especially in evening setting. However, some have weaker engagement but consistent teaching quality, especially in non-commerce streams. Attendance and academic pressure are said to be relatively lax.
