It is a very good college. I loved it.

Placements: The average package is around 2–3 LPA. Recruiting companies include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, NIIT, and The Times of India. Top roles offered are in the biotech field, clinical research, research labs, and teaching. Students can get more placement opportunities after completing an M.Sc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is overall decent and has a heritage style. There is a huge heritage Gothic building, a big library with lots of books, a Wi-Fi-enabled campus, and a canteen and cafeteria. Hostel facilities usually include a bed, table, cupboard, reading room, and security for girls' hostels. Most rooms are shared.

Faculty: Faculty is good. Some professors are very experienced and supportive. They provide doubt-solving and practical guidance. The curriculum includes core subjects, skill enhancement subjects, internal assessments, and projects. Exams are conducted semester-wise, usually two semesters per year. It includes internal assessments, practicals, and theory papers.

Other: I think choosing this college is one of the best decisions of my life. The environment is very good. They also conduct fests such as inter-college events.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty, really good infrastructure, and facilities.

Placements: The college has placement for students in various companies in India as well as foreign countries. The highest package was in 2015. The lowest package was in 2012. The average package is 3.5 lacs per annum. Most of the students are working in TCS.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure has an ancient look from both inside and outside. Classrooms are big, but some classrooms don't have working fans. The canteen is not available in the college. The library is good and big for students to sit and study. The college has Wi-Fi in it.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and their teaching is also nice. The college has both new and experienced faculty. The experienced faculty has been working in various colleges and has a very good way of teaching. The new teachers have completed their MS in the same college.

Other: The college has a cultural fest named Maharashtra Utsav. It is a decent college fest, and people from different colleges come to participate in the fest.

I would recommend this college for admission. It’s a good college with many strengths.

Placements: I would say the college placements are good, and I also have to give my contribution to have a good resume overall. The college has a good placement record, as I heard from my seniors. They also said that it is a very good company and the biggest recruiter has come, which is Wripol.

Infrastructure: I would say the college hostel is good because it is a government hostel and it is quite nice. One of my friends stays in the hostel, and it has all the facilities you want: a gym, a playground, and everything. The course is also nice, with AC rooms if you are opting for Computer Science or something similar. The labs are good, and even the Chemistry labs are very great. The infrastructure is quite good.

Faculty: I would say the faculty is good as far as my course goes. There are some issues, but the solutions to the issues are mostly addressed by the principal. The curricular and exam faculty are quite good in that college, and the teachers are helpful, knowledgeable, and the courses are relevant to the semester exams. I would say it is moderate.

Other: The college is quite far because it is on the south boundary side, and you have many events and a crowd already going on around it. It’s good, but things just have to improve, especially for more practical knowledge.

It is really good. The infrastructure and facilities are good.

Placements: Almost everyone gets placed. The highest placement offered is Rs.55,000, the average is Rs.40,000, and the lowest is Rs.30,000. A student should secure at least 45% to get an internship in companies. Elphinstone provides a wide variety of opportunities in various courses for students.

Infrastructure: Labs, classrooms, and library have a vintage and nice look. There is a campus area where students can play or sit. It has good sports and game facilities. There is no canteen when I was in this college , but one is in the coming months or years.

Faculty: Faculty is good. The staff and teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. This course is very good and sufficient for one to stand on their own. The semesters and exam patterns here are a bit harder than in other colleges. The pass percentage is 35%.

It has really good infrastructure. It is a heritage building in Mumbai.

Placements: Our college doesn't give placements, but now from the year 2024, they started some courses that they are promising to that course student to give placements in the best company. The courses are for students interested in AI, Cybersecurity, and Data Science.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good in the college, the college building is counted in heritage sites, and the hostels are good for out-of-Mumbai students it has fewer facilities than so many other hostels, but the hostel mess is not good as per the students staying there.

Faculty: The teachers were not much helpful, the office department is so annoying, they take so much time when we have to get something like a concession or some kind of certificate, but some teachers were the best in everything like teaching, doing masti, and semesters are quite hard to pass but it's good for ourselves.

Other: I think the faculty has to be better. Events and fests are the best in that area and surroundings, and the campus is the best.

The infrastructure is good, but the placements are average.

Placements: Around 30 to 50% of the students got placed. The average package offered in IT course is 3-4 LPA. Some companies like Infosys, Tata, etc., visit the college. All the companies provide internships of one year or 6 months.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, but Wi-Fi is not available. Some labs are better, but some labs like chemistry lab and physics lab have to be maintained properly. Classrooms and library are better but no air-conditioning provided. The condition of our canteen is miserable.

Faculty: The teachers are qualified, but some are newcomers. Their teaching quality is good enough. The college is well-known for its IT course. This college doesn't have any connectivity issue as it is only 2 km away from the railway station. It is a very good college for Mumbaikars.

Other: This course is good for placements. The college conducts a fest called Maharashtra fest.

Some teachers are good but some are not No good placement structure Infrastructure is bad

Placements: The college promises to offer good placements but has not kept their word. Internships and IVs from their side are only for name's sake. They told us companies like Infosys come in for interviews, but nothing like that happened till now. Top roles and internships are nearly pointless.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are like those in government colleges. Labs have limited seating, and the Wi-Fi network is also very slow. The practicals that take place in labs are not completed as downloading takes a lot of time, so practicals remain incomplete. The mess and canteen have decent food in taste but limited options.

Faculty: Some teachers are very good and have good knowledge about their subject, but some know nothing and don't explain well. Due to the new NEP policy, irrelevant subjects have been included, which takes extra time. Because of these reasons, students don't find it good enough to be ready for real industries.

Other: There are 2-3 official events and fests that take place in college. I chose this course as it is in demand. Faculty and infrastructure could be better as lots of money has been taken from us.
