A student prospective on Kurukshetra University.
Placements: Placements in our university are very low because of the low placement salary. The maximum package given to students is around 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Another reason is most of the students going for a P h.D. instead of placements. They make their career as a professor or scientist.
Infrastructure: Our department gives proper working material in labs. The solutions used in experiments are well-managed. Wi-Fi facilities are also available in all the university areas. Mostly projectors are there instead of boards. The quality of food in the mess is average. Sometimes, the food is very tasteless. Medical facilities are also provided by the university.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and cooperative with students. Teachers are well-qualified and did Ph.D. in their respective research topics. Apart from this, teachers have excellent knowledge of their respective courses. The course curriculum is relevant. The syllabus includes lab work which makes students ready for the chemical industries, pharmaceutical industries, and other industries of production. The semester exams are moderate. The passing percentage is approximately 75%.
Other: In my batch, there are 120 students. My batch session is 2023-2025. I want to become a professor at the university, so I chose that course. The best thing about this course is it makes students ready for upcoming opportunities from which they can live a good life. There are a lot of events and fests on the university campus like Ratanawali, Holi celebrations, Lohri celebrations, and Rostrum. Campus life is good. The crowd is there on campus. There is a sports complex. Scholarships are also given to students who don't have a financial background (NSP PMS).

My masters life in Kurukshetra University.
Placements: The university provides placements in different companies and industries. In the final year, companies visit, take interviews, and select the students. The university also provides internships by Kurukshetra University Technology Incubation Centre.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure regarding the department and hostel is quite good. Although the university was established very early. Department also provides smart classes and well-maintained library, computer lab, and practical labs. The quality and quantity of food in the hostel mess is also good.
Faculty: Faculty members of the department are well-trained, well-educated, and masters in their own fields. Mentoring sessions are also conducted by the teachers. Exams are held according to the semester system. The curriculum is based on the new education policy and the passing percentage is 40%.
Other: I am interested in chemical field that's why I chose to do masters in Chemistry.

My exploring and glorifying campus life.
Placements: The placement percentage by my department is quite good enough. The average package is 5 lacs per annum. Internship for my batch is not provided, but according to the new education scheme like the NEP educational scheme, the internship becomes compulsory.
Infrastructure: The building of the department is good and repaired timely. There are many facilities provided by my department, like the department's personal library where we can find topic-wise books. Hostel food is quite good. There is an ambulance always available for students, with 24-hour service.
Faculty: Teachers are CSIR NET JRF qualified. They have earned a lot of awards for their research. The lab work of my department is brilliant and explores new things in the lab. It is helpful for us in industrial development. There are unit tests, sessional exams, and semester exams conducted by the department.
Other: I chose this course because I am eager to explore new things. In Chemistry, there are a lot of experiments that are interesting. I wish the desks in the classrooms should be improved because the benches are too small for a master's student to sit comfortably.

I am totally satisfied with the course curriculum, teachers, and opportunities by the department.
Placements: The department provides a lot of opportunities to students like research fellowships. Internships and placement campaigns are organised every year. Pharmaceutical companies and companies like BARC and ONGC visit the college to recruit students. The placement percentage is about 70%. The highest package grabbed by students is around 5 LPA. Students are appointed as assistant managers and many other reputed posts.
Infrastructure: The building is well-maintained and clean. Labs and classrooms are properly ventilated and clean. The atmosphere here is quite studious. Students are provided with a Wi-Fi facility. The library of the department is well-organised and available to students during college hours. The hostel facility here is also nice and rooms are big and spacious. Hostels are also provided with library, medical, and Wi-Fi facilities. The mess of the hostel is good, and the food served is healthy.
Faculty: Faculty members of the department are quite helpful. They are qualified from reputed institutes and are professionals in their respective fields. They focus on students so that they can excel in their work. The doubt-solving sessions are held occasionally. Exams are organised in a very disciplined manner. The pass percentage is more than 80%.
Other: Many events like sports meets, festive gatherings, rostrum, and poster making are held occasionally. Scholarships like PMS and NSP are provided to students.

Overall good college but very hectic if you are doing Masters.
Placements: Around 120 students are in my class. The highest package offered by the company is around 12 Lacs per annum and the lowest is around 3 Lacs per annum. The top companies are Infosys and Tesla which got placed and who are hired by the company by aptitude and intervention or interviewing techniques.
Infrastructure: There is a faculty of Wi-Fi which is used by the students to prepare for competitive exams like NET, GATE, JRF, and many more. The teaching faculty is very experienced and provides us a great knowledge through properly conducted seminars. Overall, the faculty is excellent.
Faculty: The semester exams are quite tough here. We have to study a lot to pass these exams. I have cleared NET JRF, which also helped in clear my semester exams. Also, the faculty teaching as well as non-teaching staff are well-behaved in matters of cleanliness.
Other: No, I have already shared everything.
