Candidates must have passed B.Sc. Geology / B.Sc. Geology and Water Management/B.Sc. (Hons.) Geology with the mentioned marks or equivalent grade in aggregate and also in the concerned subject separately, from a recognized University (studied in 10+2+3 system). Candidates passed with B.Sc. Triple main programme with Geology as one of the main/major/core subject are also eligible. However Geology should have equal or more weightage with respect to the other two main subjects. Candidates must have studied Geology in all the three years of B.Sc. Programme. The B.Sc. triple main programme with Geology as a subsidiary/ minor subject or having less weightage compared to other two main subjects is not eligible.

No, CUET application fee is similar as of previous year. The CUET registration fee is updated on release of the CUET notification. Earlier, CUET application fee was revised with the reduction on choice of subjects for CUET exam. NTA will commence CUET UG 2026 registrations at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates can know the revised fee, exam pattern and important dates on CUET 2026 notification PDF.
From the year 2021 onwards, CUET is conducted in computer-based mode. Till 2020, the exam was conducted in paper-pencil based (PBT) mode. The exam will continue to be conducted in the computer-based mode or online mode. As per the CUET exam pattern, the exam was conducted in two to three slots, depending on the number of applications received in a subject.
