Admission to a two-year M.Tech course at GNITS is entirely entrance-based. Candidates can either qualify for national-level GATE entrance exam or a state-level PGCET exam. Any one of the entrance exam score will be required to get admission to M.Tech at GNITS. Later on, a counselling process is conducted for the final seat allotment.

Direct admission at GNITS is only possible through Management quota, which is categorised under Category "B" admission on the official website. Candidates can pursue BTech and M.Tech courses in a full-time mode. The admission to this category is subjective as per the college norms and done as per the guidelines mentioned by TSCHE, Hyderabad.

There are two ways to get admission to GNITS. The institute offers admission in "A" and "B" categories for its respective UG & PG courses. Admission in category "A" is done through a valid score obtained by candidates in state/ national-level entrance exams, followed by the online counselling process.
