Know about the college in detail, else your life will be ruined.
Placements: There is a gradual decrease in the campus recruitments. Till 2014-15, there are good placements, but after that, a gradual decrease of placements can be seen. Even the existing students do not show a keen interest to complete their degree. The college doesn't put efforts to place their students in a reputed firm.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Labs are equipped with AC & free Wi-Fi is enabled on the campus. Bus facility is available. The infrastructure helps for nothing if the institute does not take a forward step to place their students pursuing technical & non-technical courses.
Faculty: This institute is affiliated to Kurukshetra University. Moreover, as there is an acute shortage of professors in each discipline, the students are unable to get clarifications for their doubts. The faculty just pass their time. No one bothers about the future of the students. A single professor teaches 4-5 subjects, and it shows how this organisation is working.
Other: Small events such as sports meet, drama, singing, debate, etc. are conducted on the campus. Now, the college is not showing a keen interest to take part in these activities due to the shortage of students in the college. Scholarships are given based on the semester performance of the students, which is declared by the university.

Disatisfied from the placement point of view. The faculty was fine.
Placements: The placement scenario was not very good. Only a few companies visited the college. The companies which came were mostly from marketing and sales area. Few of them included the door to door marketing. Although, the placement for the mechanical students was fine as they were offered posts in the production line. The college has few links with some of the manufacturing companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was fine and merely consisted of one block. The college has good classrooms but the classrooms are non-AC and the top floor classrooms get heated in the summer. The library of the college was fine and not so big. It had a capacity of accommodating 200 students. It has a small cafeteria. It does not have a girls' hostel on teh campus. The girls' hostel is far away from the college. The college has one auditorium but it is not very big.
Faculty: The students do not have the choice to choose the subjects of their choice. Few staff members were good at their work but the rest were not and threatened to deduct the internal assessment marks. Few professors were knowledgeable and the others were not. They only came to pass their time.
Other: Please go for any government college or the college which can provide you with better palcement opportunities. Go for the college which can provide you with placement instead of unimportant lengthy lectures or which can provide you with more technical knowledge and skills.

Other: It's very bad college. Don’t do your graduation in this. After doing graduation from this college you have to regret because from gimt no campus placement is done. And the faculty is very bad. The b.tech pass out students is teaching. They didn't know anything.

Hello Manish,
Nowadays, GIMT is not on that level from where you can take good placements. Due to less admissions in engineering colleges in India, a number of colleges are unable to provide placement nowadays.
