It is the best college with very good teachers and good placement chances.

Placements: Almost 85% of the students were successfully placed. In our course, the highest salary package offered was 7.5 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA and the average salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. Companies like Mu Sigma, TCS and Accenture are the top recruiters of our college. Students are offered roles like data science associate, software engineer and full-stack software engineer. Almost 75% of the students got an internship in Mu Sigma, TCS and Accenture.

Infrastructure: Our college has air-conditioned labs with Wi-Fi and computers with Intel i7 processor. Classrooms are also air-conditioned with a proper projector for smart learning, and libraries are equipped with subject books. I was a day scholar, but my friends who stay in the hostels said that it was neat and clean. Food served in the mess was very good, and it has many canteens which serve proper food. There is a proper medical facility as there is a Gitam hospital. There is a sports meet every year which is conducted on the campus.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-qualified and have good English communication skills. They are well-certified by top institutes and are good in their subjects. Quality of teaching is very good as they have more than 20 years of experience in their field. The course information technology makes students ready for any job role offered to students.

Other: I have chosen this course because it was my ambition to become a software engineer, and information technology was the best way to pursue my career in this industry. We have good faculty members to teach this course, and such good facilities and students have the interest to learn the subject. If the institute adds more of the latest courses which are available in the industry, it would be good for the student to learn those courses along with the academic courses. Many events are conducted by each branch, both technical and non-technical.

The infrastructure of our college is good.

Placements: Around 50% of the students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 2.2 LPA and the average salary package offered is 3.1 LPA. TCS and Accenture are the top recruiting companies in our college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good with neat classrooms. The quality of the food served in the mess is average. Our college also provides good Wi-Fi facility. There is a canteen in our college, and we get food at a reasonable price. There is also a medical facility in our college.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are qualified, but teaching quality is average. Teachers help to provide information regarding the subject. Teachers respond proactively in clearing doubts of the students.

Other: I want to work in the software company, so I have chosen IT in GITAM. It would be better if management gives equal importance to the CSE department and IT department.

Only satisfied with the infrastructure.

Placements: Placements in the college are good in terms of numbers, but they are very less in terms of returns to cost. There will be a company which recruits almost 75% of students and rest of the people will be placed in some small companies whose names you haven't even heard off.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good as they charge around 2.50 lacs as fees, but the lab incharge or the library incharge don't even know what equipment is there in the college campus or what books are there in the library. Rest of the things are average.

Faculty: Faculty members are an utter waste. They are just alumni of Gitam M.Tech batches who didn't get campus placements. The course is very bad, and the college charges a lot of money. The course will not even make you fit for working in any IT company nor compete with any other college.

If you want a blind s/w job followed by reckless 4 years of B.Tech life, GITAM is the correct option

Placements: TCS, WIPRO, ACCENTURE are the companies which visit the college every year and they offer around 3,40,000 CTC. 50% of the college strength will be recruited by TCS & 50% of the remaining will be recruited by both WIPRO & ACCENTURE. If luck favors, product based companies like DELL, TECHASPECT, INFORMATICA, GENPACT, SYNTEL which offer 3,20,000 to 6,00,000 CTC visit the college after November every year. A student is allowed to participate in this recruitment process until he got placed. A student is allowed to get only one placement from the campus. On an average, more than 80% of college strength will be placed for sure. There is a placement cell in our college where all the placement details will be provided. GITAM college won't provide any internship programs. Student should get internship on their own as it is mandatory to complete at least 2 projects in final year & one of them should be an internship.

Infrastructure: Firstly, GITAM college is well known for it's unique infrastructure among the two Telugu states. Labs, Classrooms, Library, Medical Facilities, Sports & Games whatever the facility, the college is incomparable with any other college. * Classrooms are very spacious with good ventilation. * Labs like computer labs, Mechanical labs, AutoCad labs, etc. Are well maintained but AC is not provided. * Wi-Fi is provided all over the campus with high-speed (upto 1GBPS). * Library is named as KRC (Knowledge Resource Centre) is having very large volume of books. It also consists of academic books, novels, computer section, news paper section, magazines. It is known that KRC is the largest library in Andhra Pradesh. * Sports & Games: College is having large area of ground on the sea shore of Rushikonda Beach with cool breeze. College is also having gym, badminton court, kabaddi court, etc. Which are charged separately. * Canteens: There are almost 10 canteens inside the campus. Food is quite good. There will be at least one special item in every canteen. * Hostels: I'm not a hosteler but I've visited few times. They are very good but too pricey which I won't suggest as food is not good there. All the amenities were included in the tuition fee. They won't charge any extra fee separately. Academic fee is included with all the charges for all these infrastructure facilities.

Faculty: It is known fact that GITAM college prepares it's own course curriculum & it is dead easy when compared to other colleges. Student should have his/her own interest to learn as college provides all the amenities but not enough knowledge related. I won't say faculty here are qualified. They just prepares for the day's class & teach. Teaching quality is not appreciable. Each classroom consists of 66 students.

Other: So many events like fests take place in and outside the campus but college is not responsible for any of the events. Students should propose the event and should take permission from administration and should conduct on their own. No scholarship type of activities.

Good Infrastructure and Placements. Almost dissatisfied with Facilities. Average curriculum.

Placements: This college has a overall decent placement record since I have been into GITAM. The students are made ready for placements by offering them courses from FACES or Ethanus. A good number of companies come including Microsoft, Deloitte and Amazon India. Atleast 70 - 80 % of the students who opted for placements rather than higher studies got placed into numerous companies. The highest Package was around 12 - 14 Lacs pa. And the lowest being 2.7 Lacs pa. The designation offer to the students were as a Junior Engineer, Sales Developer, Software Developer, On -Sales Manager. Etc.

Infrastructure: GITAM has a well built infrastructure compared to other colleges. Most of the classrooms are connected to the Centralize Air Condition system. The College also provides Wi-Fi inside campus which can be connected using advanced settings. Each department has its own library and also the Campus has a big Central Library known as Knowledge Resource Center. For Sports we have Indoor and Outdoor stadiums Available for the students to explore out and enjoy their particular kind of sports. There are more than 3 Canteens where students can have a good and a well heigenic appetite. There are a good number of Hostels Separate for boys and Girls. Where each hostel is provided with different facilities.

Faculty: Teachers surely are of a kind. There are tons of faculty members with knowledge about different subjects and each qualified enough to be offered a job as a faculty in Gitam. Few teachers are good at connecting to students and make them available with everything to make them understand better. Also few may be worse. Partiality come a way more number of times depending on the faculty. Each teaching methods a Whiteboard class and even audio Visual classes.
