B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2017
3.4
Review of Global Institute of Technology, Jaipur.
Placements: Our batch was 2013-17 in the electrical engineering domain. The top recruiting company was Capgemini Pvt ltd as a software engineer, and almost 50 to 60 students got placed in it. The highest salary package offered varies from 4 LPA-5 LPA at that time. Many more companies like Teleperformance (BPO), Genpact, and Cardekho. Com etc., visited the campus to recruit students. The average salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Approximately all the students did their internships during the course from various companies like IOCL, Jaipur Vidhut Vitran Nigam Limited, etc. In our course, (EE) software developer was the top role offered by Capgemini.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. All the facilities are available in the canteen, and we also have other fast food cafes. There is a good library with air-conditioners, a lawn area, and a football ground. We have enough parking space. We missed one thing particularly in the sports field that it has no cricket ground. There are good medical facilities, within 2 km, and there are two multispeciality hospitals. The food served in the hostel is somehow good.
Faculty: Some teachers in our college were helpful, but some were not. The course designed by the Rajasthan Technical University is not enough to make students industry-ready. Teaching quality is average. The project was not up to date, and no experts were there to help you. Students made their projects on their bases and help from the outside. No single company visited to recruit students in the core branch in 2017.
Other: I was a student of the 2017 batch (EE). We can improve our course design to make it industry-ready and can improve the laboratory and research. The college should also help students to get good internships in the MNCs and from abroad. Even college management can tie up with foreign universities to improve the quality of education and research. They also need to focus on research and development. It was a happening place for events and other cultural programs. A lot of events were held during our course.

It is one of the good engineering colleges in Jaipur.
Placements: Placements in our college are average not that good. Only IT companies visit our campus for placements. They only provide mass recruiting for BPO services. I did not get any job offer through campus placements. Many of my friends are still unemployed. They don't give information on how to approach companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite good. The college provides a different campus for first-year and other students. There is a hostel facility within the campus. Canteen is also available here. There are a football ground, badminton court, cricket ground and volleyball court. It has a music room and a gym. The college also provides a separate hostel for girls.
Faculty: Faculty members are average. College doesn't have a civil branch. Faculty members are that much qualified, quite okay. The college has now computer science, electrical and mechanical branches. Staff is quite good. There is also a warden for a hostel. It keeps us safe from others.

I am dissatisfied with the college.
Placements: Not even a single genuine company visit the campus for placements. Marketing companies mostly visit the campus for placements. Overall it is a bad college. I don't suggest this college to anyone.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. But college doesn't allow students to use the playground and canteen facility. The entire campus is air-conditioned, but air-conditioners are only operated during admissions. The library is good and spacious. Director of the college is very bad. Overall it's a very poor college.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college also blame the college administration. They don't get their salaries on time, and that's the reason why faculty members leave college. The course curriculum is also poor. They don't complete courses on time. Faculty members are not experienced, and students are not interested in studying here.
Other: The college doesn't conduct any sports event. Events organised here are not good.

GIT Jaipur is an awesome place to complete your B.Tech.
Placements: Placements for the students of CS and IT branches were good, but in core branches, the placements were very low. But you can also participate in off-campus drives. Also, some good MNCs visit the college, and they will hire some students of the core branches. Overall, I would rate the college's placements with 3.5 out of 5.
Infrastructure: The college has the best campus when compared to other private colleges in Jaipur which were affiliated to RTU Kotak. I have visited many other colleges which are ranked above GIT, but I didn't like their campuses. The campus was lush-green. The infrastructure of the college was excellent. The cool environment makes this college an awesome place to complete your B.Tech here.
Faculty: In private colleges, studies don't matter, and the scenario is almost the same in all colleges. But if I talk about restrictions, it's a good place to study. There are many restrictions, so you can't even enjoy your college life. Even maintaining less than 40% of attendance was considerable here.
Other: Our college organises a tech fest named Jigyasa, sports fest named Vanquish, cultural fest named Rudrika and many college level fests were organised here. The campus was awesome. The management and teachers were good. The college was located in Sitapura Jaipur which was a developing place in Jaipur.

Placements and facilities are good here.
Placements: Global Institute of Technology is a great campus to build your career and your technical skills. The institute offers many placement opportunities. Even the placement rate is good here. The college provides many job opportunities for students to build their careers. Approximately 40%-90% of the students were placed in technical and non-technical domains.
Infrastructure: Global Institute of Technology has a great campus. I give the 1st rank to this college as far as the facilities are concerned. All the classrooms are air-conditioned. Wi-Fi speed is good here. The food facilities and medical facilities provided are of good standards. I feel lucky to be a student of this college.
Faculty: Global Institute of technology offers B.Tech and M.Tech courses. The faculty members of our department are friendly, and the teaching method is improving here. The college conducts workshops according to students' interests. This college is good for technical education. Faculty members also help us to improve our practical knowledge.
Other: Many events like Samanvay, Rudrika, Vanquish and many others are organised here. Sports activities are also organised to motivate students.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the faculty.
Placements: I have completed my B.Tech from Global Technical college, and it was a great experience for me. Those days are the best days of my life, but the teachers are not good. The campus is nice. The crowd was good during my tenure at the college. But the scenario is completely changed now. The college doesn't provide any placement opportunities, and I do not recommend this college. Because of this college, I am not placed in any company yet.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is nice. I can see all the playgrounds from my hostel. The quality of the buildings is also good. All the playgrounds are very neat and clean. I like the environment of the college, and it is peaceful for the students who spend their time playing games.
Faculty: Faculty members are really bad. They just don't know how to teach students, and they don't even have knowledge about their own subjects. I think, they study the topics a day before taking the class, and they teach us. I really don't like any of the faculty members. The college is bad.
Other: The campus crowd is good, and the students studying in this college are from a rich background. The college organises events and fests. There are some events and fests conducted in the college all the time.

The college is not much good.
Placements: Placements provided for the students of previous batches were good, but the placements for our batch were not up to the mark. Local startup companies were invited to hire the students, and those placement opportunities are not much useful. Students weren't happy about the placements. I didn't like the placement opportunities provided by this college.
Infrastructure: The college provides all the necessary facilities which are required to build a friendly environment to study. There is a proper space to conduct events, and the college also has a playground. The canteen is good. There is an ATM in the college premises, which is very helpful.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They use different teaching methods to ensure that every student understands the topic clearly. We didn't get any industrial exposure.
Other: The college organises events and fests regularly. They also offer scholarships to the deserved students.

This is a bad college for doing B.Tech in Jaipur area.
Placements: The placements on the campus are bad. Our college lacks good placements due to poor management. They don't even care about their students as they only care about their fee. They always message you about the college fee and the remaining due-fee, but they will never call or text regarding the important updates.
Infrastructure: The college is not that big and good. It is a small place as compared to other government colleges like MNIT, etc. It lacks a proper place for the students to enjoy. There is no swimming pool on the campus. The canteen on the campus is not spacious as it is not even sufficient to sit with your girlfriend.
Faculty: The faculty members are bad, and they don't even care about the students. The students are not allowed to write mid-term exams as they debar the students without any proper reason. The mentor usually calls you and your parents about fees as they are selfish and greedy. The faculty members lack proper knowledge.
Other: The scholarship always gets delayed due to the poor reputation of our college.
