Review of Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College.
Placements: All the students got placements in other companies. The highest salary package offered is 4 to 6 LPA. Recruiting companies are Varun motors and many companies. Internships are in the final semester. We got an internship in Kolar. Roles are supervisor, floor supervisor, and advisory.
Infrastructure: Our college has good facilities in terms of quality education. Wi-Fi facility is available but restricted. Classrooms are well and neatly maintained. Library is easily accessible with a variety of books. Hostel facility was not available. The quality of food was average. Medical facilities are available. Sports are provided only for boys.
Faculty: Teachers are much helpful, well experienced, and have deep knowledge. The course was relevant but need an upgrade. Semester exams are not much tough because everyone should read regularly and attend practical classes to understand concepts better. The pass percentage was above 55%.
Other: I love engineering, especially electronics engineering. The best thing it is easily understandable and more practical knowledge is needed. Theory and practical knowledge are necessary for our course. The course needs to be improved. It should provide little upgradation to meet the outside locality. Events happen twice a month. Campus crowd is much heavily with boys. Campus surroundings and environment are good. Extracurricular activities happen but I was not much interested in it.

This college is good for engineering and for those who want to learning.
Placements: In 2015, in our college, the placement was not that much good, but so many companies came to offer jobs to us, after completing the course, me and my few friends hustled to get into jobs. I don't know now how placements are going. Once in "Udyog Mela" the other company people offered handsome salary up to 12k per month. Recruiting companies are Shah Hyundai, Bharat Petroleum etc. I have no idea about internships in our college. Roles are different from student to students some are offered technical support, executive and so on.
Infrastructure: Good classroom with good ventilation and in summers, we use fans. Wi-Fi facility was not available at that time. Quality of food was not that much good, needs to improve the food quality. The sport facility was only for cricket, foot ball and volleyball and some indoor games.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, they have abundance knowledge, practical experience, it was nice to learn that they have complete experience. Semester exams were average. Due to many assignments, we use to exhaust in exam time. The exams are harder, continues learning is important.
Other: I took this course to learn about electricity deeply. Initially it was really hard for me, later I realized that it's really interesting subject and I can do better later. In specially my course (electronics) the practical study is much important. Events use to run in our college frequently, we used to participate in every event. Campus crowd is much, but females are less in number.

I am not satisfied because of its placements.
Placements: The students were not placed in any company, only some were placed in such a company which was not even relevant to their course. There were some companies coming to this college for placements, and students were getting placements but still, it needs to be improved.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was beautiful. There was a separate floor or a separate building for every department. It has clean classrooms, laboratories with all equipment, and a good library. The college was serious about sports and games. Medical facilities were not good, and the mess was good. The canteen was also good.
Faculty: Faculty members were excellent. They always wanted students to be industry-ready. Semester exams were more difficult than any other university in the entire state of Karnataka as the exams used to be conducted by VTU.
Other: I opted for this course, because I always enjoy working with electricity.

My experience in my favorite Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College.
Placements: From my batch, more than 100 students got placed in IT field, but in this college, very few core companies come for EEE, ECE, mechanical, civil, and automobile engineering. The salary package will be more than 3 lpa. Some companies are very good like Infosys, Wipro, IBM, MindTree, etc. Generally, for attending the campus drives, you must have a 60%+ aggregate in engineering. In our college, the internship facility is not provided, I wish this problem will be solved in future as it will be very helpful for students. In our college, we have a placement cell. Mr Rajshekar sir is the placement officer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very nice. The college has a good environment, library, canteen, xerox, garden, and a stadium for sports like football, cricket, badminton, and basketball courts. There are medical facilities and hostels for both girls and boys. The college is located in the city. The canteen food is normal, but I have many memories with that canteen, that is our favourite spot for chitchat. There is no ragging in our college, especially for local students.
Faculty: The faculty members are experienced, well qualified, knowledgeable, and friendly, especially in the electrical and electronics department. In the first year, you will face some problem, but after entering your department, you will feel like family. In our time, we went for an industrial trip, that is my wonderful memory in my life.
Other: The event is Tenchnovision, an international technical fest organised by our college. I was the main coordinator in this big event for two years. Other than this, many fests (cultural and technical) will be organised specially E-Buzz which is organised by electronics department, it is a national level cultural and technical fest. We enjoyed a lot in this event. The campus surrounding is good, we get a bookstall, buses, autos, hotels, etc. Many extracurricular activities are conducted in my college. The college is a bit strict in college dress code, ID card and timing. I truly suggest all my brothers and sisters join this college, you will get a good knowledge with full of enjoyment and memories.

Overall, it is a good college.
Placements: All companies like MRF and many startups hire students with a package of 4 LPA. It is well-renowned, and well assessments are given. The training and placement cell is also good, and it is very supportive. It gave a good vibe. If we visit our TP office, then it is surrounded by well-motivated thoughts.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, and all facilities are provided here. The best part is that we get lab sessions once a week according to the timetable, but we also get to explore and do our projects any time when we are free in the lab without anyone's permission, which is good.
Faculty: It has a well-supported environment. Faculty members are good and very supportive. They are available for us every time, and when we need them, they also help us. They motivate us to do new things. They provide questions that are enough for exams, and we should only read those questions. I am sure that students can top in their final exams.
