Review of GNDEC - Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College.
Placements: Our college hadn't provided any placement opportunities. Fake companies visited our college for placements. It's a very bad experience regarding placements. Once I almost got selected in Indus Tower, but they took me down because of the language barrier. As I am from north India, they said that I couldn't communicate in the local language. Only one genuine company visited the college, and the rest of all were fake.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was quite good. Our college provides good lab facilities and even good staff members. The weather at the college was good, and there is no need to worry about summer. You can manage with a fan. Even the hostel facility was also good. Hostel mess runs under no profit no loss. They provide good food at a nominal rate.
Faculty: The course is for four years, and faculty members here were very good. If you fail in five subjects in any year of your course, then you have to repeat the same year which is called as a year back. It was a very strict university. Faculty members won't give a single mark for free. For every semester, there were three internal exams, and according to that, internal average marks will be sent to the university. So you have to study hard to get a degree.
Other: You can get scholarships under MOMA, which is known as minority fund scholarship. Our college organises a lot of events, sports and state level games. We enjoy a lot here.

Good college for your future, Management try there best to give u facilities and training.
Placements: No placement for mechanical engineering branch. Not for our seniors branch and no placement to us and not to juniors. I seen that some local chemical factory came for placement they given there instructions but not came to conduct interviews. But management conducted personality development course for us.
Infrastructure: No words for infrastructure. GNDEC known for its campus. Our college is having vary big campus with hostel for boys, canteen, bike and car parking separately to students and lecturers. Having a vary big library with vary large text and reference books. College is having vary lovely infrastructure.
Faculty: Management take vary well care of Faculty And course curriculum. Not to our branch all branches having vary good faculty and management strictly instruct to all branch HOD to complete course curriculum with in time and with best understand. Teaching not just for exam they teach us for future use in our joining company.
Other: Our college management is vary supportive to cunduct events, fest. We organised many fest and events in our time. As we have big campus also we have vary good strength. College campus is vary well organised for all branches with vary well connectivity.

The college is good in every aspect.
Placements: Whenever it comes to the placements, the college is not great but better than other colleges in our division its rank stop in our Hyderabad and Karnataka division. This year 40 and more students got placed from the mechanical department only. The college is working very hard to place the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. There is a library, canteen and a big ground. The classes and the labs are also good. Good quality food is given in the canteen. Hostel rooms are also good, and the mess is also good. Games are played on every weekend. Overall, it's a good college.
Faculty: The teachers of the college are good at knowledge, experience and have a sense of humour. The interaction between students and teachers are good. The student-faculty ratio is correct. The teaching method of teachers are good and are very helpful to the students. The faculty are knowledgeable and there is research and development centre in our college.
Other: Almost, 2 events are organised yearly. The crowd in the campus is normal. Good library and good placements are available in the college. Extracurricular activities and other sports activities are conducted in the college. The speed of Wi-Fi is good every yeat. The scholarship is available for all the students.

We can't say bad college and vary good college. I can say good college.
Placements: No placement for non IT branches. Placement is there for IT branches. Selected students will be vary less, like 15 to 20 students. I seen companies came to our college are Infosys, hcl and some BPO companies. And heard that after selection many dint got call letters at all.
Infrastructure: There are no words for infrastructure. College campus is vary large. No problem for classrooms, labs and workshops. Having beautiful campus with garden and in that, beautiful statues of aeroplanes and animals. In the campus there is a memorial park, canteen is there.
Faculty: Some problem is there with faculty members. We don't know what the problem with management senior lecturers usually leave college. But no problem management bring guest lecturers. And u guys know what the problem with guest lecturers. They don't have depth knowledge of subject we face problem in understanding subjects.

It is a good campus with good Facilities, but need to improve in the placements.
Placements: As far as I remember, there were two companies visited our college for mechanical engineering branch, the first one is Indus Towers in last week of March, and the 2nd is Global Logic technologies visited in 2nd week of March 2016, and there were other companies also who visited the college but for other branches. In the Indus Towers, 3 of my friends got selected and were offered with the salary package of about 2.5 LPA, and in Global Logic technologies, two students got selected. There was another drive in this college where India Consultancy Pvt. Ltd Bangalore and in this myslef and other two friends got selected, and we had an offer of about 2 LPA. There is a placement cell in the college, but honestly speaking they are bringing more consultancies rather than companies.
Infrastructure: There are many facilities in our college like Wi-Fi, and all labs were cleaned and neat, classrooms, library and everything was excellent. The sportsperson, Mr Gaffar sir, is very good and kind-hearted person, and he inspires the students to participate in different sports. Myself has got selected in a chess tournament in Chitradurga. There is no question of Infrastructure problem at all in the college. Everything was perfect in this college.
Faculty: As far as Mechanical branch staff is concerned many of faculty were new, but had excellent knowledge of there field, and they try to explain it in very good except 3 lecturers where I can't name them here. Raheman sir in our staff used to give industry exposure sometimes. Regarding the course curriculum, honestly speaking nobody used to complete the syllabus because we just needed to study 5 units out of 8 units, and that's why they used to complete 6 or 7 units only.
Other: This college conducts many events such as Technovision, Tehact, EBUZZ, and Anual Day Celebration, etc. Sir used to manage all scholarship activity sincerely.

The average college but the infrastructure and campus are very good.
Placements: The placement of our senior batch was neither good nor bad because the students who wanted to get placed, got placed in good companies and good packages but still the % of the placement was very low, i.e. out of 250 students of our branch, only 20 to 30 students got placed. The highest package availed by a student is 6.6 LPA and the average salary package is 3 LPA. If I talk about the internship, then many of the students got the internship offers from the company at around 50 to 60. If I talk about the overall, then the placement of CSE and IT branches was really good. More than 50% of the students got placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good but the college is the in the village, but the transport facility is available, so there is no problem with the students who are coming from the far places. The campus is full of greenery, and at the time of sunset the view is amazing, and in the evening it feels nice in the campus for the hostellers it is very nice place in the campus. The campus has the Wi-Fi facility. In most of the places, it has good labs for all different branches. The library is really good as almost all the books of our curriculum. The college has almost all the sports facility for every sport, and it has many other games in the hostel for the students.
Faculty: The faculty is experienced and has all the expertise in their domains, and most of them are PhD holders. The curriculum is up to date with the industrial exposure but still give us the industrial exposure by taking us on different industrial tours and explaining different things at the industry and relating to our curriculum. They used different methods to explain curriculum to us sometimes by using projectors and sometimes by giving PPT. They give the different assignment, but all the time they just give regular topics.

GNDEC is the best place to enjoy your college life, for sure.
Placements: Mechanical placements are the highest packages and are often accepted. Toyota, TCS, and Wipro are the top recruiting companies for B.Tech Mechanical. You must have a 6.5 CGPA. The roles offered in the course are Manager and Operations Supervisor.
Infrastructure: New infrastructure and regular repairs, along with other essential requirements. They are fulfilled by the college on a regular basis. Ventilation and highly facilitated rooms are available in the hostel. Washrooms are regularly cleaned and maintained with proper sanitation.
Faculty: The professors are skilled and highly educated, and their teaching is qualitative and quantitative. The course curriculum includes modern technologies. The scores significantly make students industry-ready. It is easy for students to pass the exams if they study on a regular basis. The pass percentage is 40%.
