My college is Goa Institute of Management.
Placements: The placement of summer internships starts from the first semester itself, along with final year placements. Many companies, including leaders like JP Morgan, Deloitte, and Goldman Sachs, visit our campus. The highest package is 27 lakhs, and the average is 15 lakhs. Roles are different; many companies offer business development associate roles.
Infrastructure: Campus infrastructure is aesthetic and modern. The library has limited seats with a plan for extension. The weather in Goa is either very hot or rainy. The hostel consists of non-AC double occupancy rooms with an option to upgrade to a single AC room at an extra cost. Each room is furnished with a bed, cupboard, shoe rack, and a small side table for casual use. The accommodation fee for two years is 1,80,000 rupees, which includes meals four times a day: dinner, lunch, breakfast, and evening snacks. The food quality is high and hygienic, and the seafood has a good taste.
Faculty: GIM has a high number of faculty members who hold Ph.D. degrees, bringing a wealth of knowledge. This intensive two-year program is unfolded in six terms, three per year. Each term is packed with 8-9 engaging subjects. GIM’s flagship program takes a unique approach; the first year covers business domain and strong foundation subjects, and the second year offers a journey of choosing specialization subjects.
Other: Beaches are a great distance from the college, but you should make a plan.

One of the best campus life among b-schools in India.
Placements: 100% students are placed.
26 Lacs was the highest fees, 8.5 Lacs was the lowest, and the average was 11.5 Lacs. Jp Morgan, icici bank, reliance industries, gep, EY, and ITC are some of the top recruiters. Sales manager, financial analyst, risk analyst, data analyst, research intern are some of the offered roles. 90% got internship from college, rest of the students availed it on their own from outside the college.
Infrastructure: 50 acres campus, state of art academic block. The library is great and has almost all the resources available. The campus is fully Wi-Fi, shares a common password so it's easily accessible. The classrooms are fully air conditioned and good enough for spending the whole day doing classes.
2. 2 sharing non AC room is provided in 1st year and single non AC room in 2nd year, the mess is good, serves 4 meals a day and taste is decent enough. Sports facilities are great enough, has a full fledged multi purpose auditorium dedicated to sports with swimming facilities. The medical facilities are not good.
Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified and well experienced. Few of them also have decent industry exposure. The overall teaching quality is 6.5 out of 10. The course curriculum is decent enough to cater to the basic needs of meeting the academic requirements for an MBA, but keeping the industry standards in mind, it does need some rectifications.
Other: The campus life, the eventful 2 years, the decent placement offers, the location. The placement average, peer to peer learning, the return on investment. This can proudly be said that GIM is one of the best in terms events, campus life, fest, extra curriculars.

An honest review of GIM - Goa Institute of Management.
Placements: All the people in my batch got placed. The lowest package offered varied from 8.5-9 LPA, and the highest is 25 LPA plus bearing international placements. Recruiters are ITC, Infosys, Reliance, GEP, IBM, Wipro, and Barclays. Internships are also good. The major role offered was consulting.
Infrastructure: All the facilities which are needed are present on campus. We have a dedicated Wi-Fi all over the campus. The quality of facilities is quite good. The infrastructure in rooms is great too. We have facilities of swimming pool, tennis, and dedicated medical facilities.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is really good, and the teachers are really helpful. They are very much concerned and would answer any of the queries you may have. The course curriculum is quite relevant, and we have some courses relevant to the present times. Semester exams are difficult and similar to any other MBA college exams.

- This is a residential type program that offers specialization in Finance & Accounting, General Management & Economics, IT & Operations, Marketing and, OB & Human Resources Management
- The course consists of an experiential project with partner organizations (such as banks and NGOs) and a classroom learning experience
- As part of The Summer Internship Project (SIP) at GIM, each student takes up live projects with corporates for a minimum of 8 to 10 weeks during the summer after the first year
- Under the student exchange partnerships, students attend a summer school or spend a full term at the host school such as University of Catolica, Portugal, University of Antwerp, Belgium, etc
- International Consulting Bootcamp is held every year in the month of September in collaboration between the University of Antwerp and GIM
- Student has an option of submitting a Masters Level Dissertation instead of a three-credit elective course with the approval of the Programme Chair
- Student who desires to study a specific topic not included in the list of electives may, with the permission of the Programme Chair, choose to do a Course of Independent Study (CIS)

It is a good college, and it has an excellent environment.
Placements: Placements are average in our college. Placements are provided to students based on their performance, and also students should not have backlogs. Internships are provided to all students, and they are doing it in various companies. Some of them also opted to do a final year project in business analytics, which will be very helpful for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is perfect. All the classrooms and hostel rooms are air-conditioned, and classrooms have projectors. Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus, whereas the library is good, and discipline is maintained in it. The food served in the mess is fresh. For sports, basketball court and football ground are available, and a doctor is always available on the campus. There is also an ambulance on the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members here are well qualified and very responsible for their jobs. They are strict but have in-depth knowledge of subjects, and they also understand students. They always ready to clear your doubts and will listen to you whenever you have any problem. The course curriculum is perfectly relevant and based on the current market scenario.

Very good college for management studies.
Placements: The placements in the college are good with most companies offering the roles in sales and marketing and human resource development. With internships provided to students on the basis of their performance and academics. There are many opportunities provided by the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well and every kind of facility is available on the college campus including shops, gym, parking area, sports grounds, medical aids. The library is the most attractive with a good collection of modern books related to knowledge of the current market scenario.
Faculty: The faculty members are well qualified and possess very good knowledge of corporate sectors. Their way of teaching is very good and many students find it easy to interact with them. They are very helpful. The course curriculum is descriptive as it provides all the material and skills that we have to gain for current markets.

Infrastructure, facilities, and life at GIM.
Placements: Most of the second year students are already placed with four months still left for the course completion. The summer internship placements for the first year students are going on smoothly. The college is known to complete 100% placements every year.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are equipped with projectors and screens and sound systems and AC. We have a 24x7 AC library with diverse range of books. We have well-equipped finance and data analytics labs. Being a residential campus, the hostel rooms and environment is very homely. The hostel is Wi-Fi enabled. There is a doctor available for check ups on campus and a counselor. We have a gym, swimming pool, basketball court, tennis court, badminton and table tennis, cycles.
Faculty: The course curriculum is well updated with the current industry trends and the teaching methodology has a practical approach. The teachers are well knowledgeable and give insights on how the industry actually works. Different case studies and practical approaches helps us understand how the industry works.

As we all say "GIM is God's own B School.
Placements: Hundred percent students are placed with decent profile as per previous records. The highest salary offered was 23 LPA last year and average package offer is about 11 LPA. As per the last year data, all the students who had applied through college for internship got it.
Infrastructure: Campus is fully Wi-Fi facilitated, all the Classrooms are equipped with projector, library is operational 24/7 and all the transactions are digital in the campus through RFID. Labs contain necessary terminals like Thomson Reuters. Moreover the place where campus is located is environment friendly and is in the lap of mountains.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful. They conduct extra sessions for difficult topics. Courses like marketing and Human resources are flagship courses here. Courses are taught in industry-oriented way. Industry experts and HRs regularly visit the college.
Other: PGDM is the flagship course of GIM, hence it is fruitful to do it from here. Campus is student driven containing 24 clubs and societies
Hence events fest workshop are a part of regular curriculum of the students.

Extremely good infrastructure.
Placements: Around 90% of the batch was placed in reputed firms, some of them including EY, Deloitte, RB, Asian Paints, JP Morgan and many others. However, the college has been able to maintain 100% placement record for over several years. The highest salary offered was 16 LPA while the median stood at 9 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college boasts excellent facilities like dedicated labs for finance and big data, library with wide collection of journals and books (including foreign authors). The hostels were well maintained and regularly cleaned. Electrician was available 24*7 on call. The campus is picturesque with a big swimming pool, gym, volleyball court, tennis court, badminton court, basketball court, cricket ground and indoor sports. Classrooms are enabled with RFID attendance systems and are fully air- conditioned. The campus also has a ATM, juice shop and a confectionery shop.
Faculty: Highly qualified teachers with diverse academic, research and industrial experience. The course is revised continuously to include relevant topics and prepare students according to the need of the industry. The college has also recently included courses on new technologies in the curriculum.
Other: Being one of the premier b-schools, the course content was up to date and relevant. The best part was inclusion of CSR activities as part of core- curriculum to prepare students for becoming responsible managers of tomorrow. The college has more than 16 clubs and societies which hosts events on regular basis and conduct national level b-school competitions. The campus is entirely student driven, which involves students clubs handling placement activities, PR activities and even negotiating with the cafeteria vendors. The marketing club hosts the biggest student run corporate quiz "Wizbiz" which attracts corporates from across the country.

You have not mentioned about the Management entrance exam in which you have scored 86.25 percentile. However if this is for CAT, Than the expected CAT cutoff for GIM is about 92+. While for CMAT, this may ranges between 90-95. Hence your chances for getting a call are moderate.

your marks are good and above the minimum requirement of 60 percent. so you can appear for the CAT exam. your extracurricular will be judged by the interviewer. apart from that do good in CAT exam.
