B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2025
3.8
Our college has good teachers.
Placements: Approximately 60% of students are placed in our course, and the rest get off-campus placements. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average is 5.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant. Almost 80% of students got internships from our college.
Infrastructure: We don't get any kind of facilities like a hostel, and it's a big problem.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is outstanding. Our course curriculum makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not that tough for students who regularly come to college and also give their full attention to the class.

My overall experience at this college is not good.
Placements: Not more than 60% of students from our batch of CSE are placed in IT companies. Placements are mostly conducted in an off-campus mode. We were informed about various placement activities in other colleges where we would go there and appear in those placements. The only on-campus placement drive arranged here was for Tech Mahindra.
Infrastructure: There is only one boys' hostel with three stories, and the infrastructure is very bad. Four or five students stay in every room. There are not enough windows in most of the rooms. Another serious problem is ragging in the hostel. Juniors are heavily tortured by seniors. It is the tradition of this hostel.
Faculty: Our stream CSE doesn't have enough professors. Most of the posts are vacant. Most of the courses are taken by part-time professors. The qualifications of professors are not good. If anyone follows them, no knowledge will be gained in the core areas of computer science.

To sum up, I am very much satisfied with my college faculty, infrastructure, facilities, etc.
Placements: Actually, the placement of the colleges depends neither on the College Tag, nor on the Tier of the college, it only depends on the skills of the students graduating from that college. So, if you are determined and capable enough to be able to boost your skills to the level required by the top tech giants (FAANG), you can get the go out of it. Now, if you wanna know the current placement trends in our college, then I must say, its Average. Students in the departments of Computer Science and Engineering and Information Technology are able to fetch up to Rs 6-7 LPA, while those in the departments of Textile Technology and Apparel Management manage to fetch up to Rs 4-5 LPA. Some of the mass recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Adobe, Cognizant, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our college is being improved day by day. We are having a Wi-Fi engulfed campus. The labs of CSE/ IT are quite adorable. The campus is having a vibe of freedom and knowledge persisting all around. Accompanied by the flowing of the holy river Ganga aside, the college campus will ready draw your attention towards it. Apart from all these, our college is having a world class library, where you can get your enchanted up with new skills and boost your knowledge.
Faculty: When it comes to the faculty members, I guess you will be lucky enough if you get opportunity to be taught in this college. The faculty of these college are really helpful and highly qualified. If you are ready to grab knowledge they will flood you up with all the knowledge they have.

This college is very good.
Placements: Almost 70% of the students got placed in our course. In our college, the lowest salary offered is Rs. 12,000 per month in the computer science department, and others depend on their stream. The highest salary offered is Rs. 24,000 per month. Top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Wipro and others. Almost 30% of the students got an internship from the course.
Infrastructure: The college provides industrial training. Students of 1st year are not allowed in the canteen. Also, 2nd-year students cannot enter in the hostel, and only first-year students are allowed to join the hostel. Some colleges are providing hostel facility. The maximum of them are not allowed, but if they could try, then they can join the hostel.
Faculty: All the teachers are very good, very helpful, highly qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers are qualified with a minimum of PhD. This course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen computer science and engineering here because the campus is very good and well-managed.

Review of my college. I am very proud to be a student of this college.
Placements: The placement percentage of our college is quite high it's about 70%. The highest, the lowest and the average package of our college is 8Lpa, 2Lpa, 3Lpa respectively. The top recruiting companies that offers job are Microsoft, Apple Inc. , TCS, Cognizant etc.
Infrastructure: Although Our college don't have the facility of Wi-Fi but the infrastructure of our college is very good. Library, classrooms, lawn, toilets, canteen are very clean. Our college has hostel facility for the students who are from different districts.
Faculty: Our college has a strong faculty member. Our teachers, HOD, Principal are very educated and highly qualified professionals. They are very friendly as well. Our faculty members always encourages us to learn and grow up new skills, which makes us ready for the industry.

Our college provides moderate class and education, but it is less in activities and infrastructure.
Placements: Our batch students aren't placed yet, but 83% of the students got placed from our senior batch in CSE. The highest salary package offered overall was 7 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.3 LPA. The average salary package stood at almost 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course were mainly TCS and Wipro. Top roles offered were as a junior system developer, junior software developer, programming assistant and senior developer. The lowest salary package offered in our course was 3 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 4.3 LPA. Our college stands very low in the case of internships. Around 7% of the students got internships, and amongst them, one was from TCS.
Infrastructure: For computer science, we have 5 different labs. Two of them are in the CS department. Labs are all air-conditioned and connected with Wi-Fi. Each lab has around 40-50 computers and is equipped with fifth-generation devices. Labs are well spaced and having a projector and whiteboard for class circumstances. Classrooms are a bit less equipped though. For first years, most of the classes will be taken in general classes, while from the second year onwards computer science classes are taken by its department labs itself. IT, TT and APM classes are taken in normal classes. Classrooms are clean and genuinely equipped like any other institution. The college has nothing in a speciality, and nothing is demotivating. The library is also good. Timings for submission is up to 12 noon, and for requisition is after that. Each book of the syllabus is available, while I am unsure about the books out of syllabus. There is only one hostel, and it is available only for boys. Overall it is moderate, and there are two-three sharing rooms. The food served in the hostel is moderate. Though the selection of the menu is quite good. They make biriyani every weekend. The hostel is right by college ground and inside the college. Precisely it is a very small college. The canteen is also small. You won't be able to find it alone at first. It doesn't provide hard meal options but is good for snacks. First-aids are present in college, and there is a hospital right nearby, so no medical issues at all. The ground is quite small and no expectations for sports. Though annual sports, fests, competitions are organised on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are extremely helpful. One of the prime advantages of being a small institute is having good attention of teachers. They care a lot for students. They all are well qualified and are having PhDs. They are very knowledgeable and helps students in learning things. Especially I am sure about our CS department. The teaching quality is also quite good for the CS department. This course curriculum is relevant. First year includes general physics, chemistry, maths and also engineering graphics and electrical engineering basics. It gives us an overall idea about everything. We also have C, data structures, organisations, architectures, algorithms, CPP, Java, webs, TOC and everything. It is well enough for industry and research approach.
Other: I chose this course because computer science is the future of everything. The whole world lies in automation and technologies nowadays and in future also. This technological advancement is done by CS engineers. Surely the job opportunities will be increased in future. Moreover, amongst engineers, I believe computer science has the highest value, in terms of demand and in terms of salary packages. Also nowadays every research work included handling of large data, so involvement of CS engineers. Considering these many factors, I chose this. A little thing that I must say about this course they need to make it a bit more applicative. There are regions where I feel theoretical knowledge is more than need. I expect a bit more practical there. The crowd and connectivity are very less. There is no life in this college to be precise. Fests are organised but only cultural, not technical, and they are only for three days. Campus surroundings are very lonely. Outside the college, there are the Ganges right beside only around 5 feet away. Our college has soothing weather, pleasing wind in summer and chilling in winter, which is good. Scholarships are also available. There are quite a few, mentors and teachers push us to apply all the time. This college will get zero marks for extracurricular. There aren't any clubs at all.

The infrastructure is good, and the fee is minimal.
Placements: Placement scenario is not good in our department, i.e., CSE or IT. Companies like Oracle, TCS, Wipro, and Voltas, etc. visit our college almost every year. But the percentage of students getting placed is not that high. If you pursue APM or TT from this college, you will get placed for sure. There are students in APM and TT who get more than one jobs before the completion of their course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. All the computers in the CSE are in working condition. Faculty members in our department are good. There is a central library with full of books, and it is available for all the students and faculty members. A hostel is available on the campus. The students union of the college is very active. They organise sports, games, freshers, puja celebrations and many more. One major drawback in the infrastructure is there is no good quality canteen available on the campus.
Faculty: The faculty members are very good, highly qualified and very helpful. The college strictly follows the curriculum prescribed by MAKAUT. There are as many as 50 students in our batch, and there are about 7-8 faculty members in our department. The teaching quality is good, and every doubt gets resolved.
Other: This is a government college, so the fee is minimal. Scholarships are provided according to the family income of students. Every year, the students union organises a college fest, sports and games, etc. There is a free Wi-Fi facility available on the campus.

The college has best infrastructure and highly qualified faculty.
Placements: There is a pool campusing for the CSE, but for the textile stream, the placement is too good. Since I joined the college, many students joined for the job, and all of them were my seniors. The most of the companies offered 2.5 lakhs per annum, and the position they offered to the student is operator or designer or programmer or software engineer etc.
Infrastructure: As a CSE student, I don't know of other stream infrastructure, but I can tell you the college has some Hi-tech computer lab with high configuration desktops with a great working condition also with an AC facility. Laboratories are clean without any smell. Other boundaries of the college are so clean. Securities are also very helpful.
Faculty: See this college is under the Makaut University and all of its courses. The course curriculum is not so updated unlike others, but still, we know a lot of things about computers and all of its architecture, programming languages, digital circuits etc. (as of now). Now let's talk about faculty, the faculty are highly qualified, and their teaching techniques are appreciable. Also, they are very helpful to make anything out. But I am impressed the way they interact with student, treat as a home teacher,
Other: You might have listened that the five fingers are not same and likewise this college has very poor canteen service. You can only have few food items like Maggie, egg toast, and a small cake to get rid of hunger. But no worry you can go simply out to get some good food. And the very charming thing is the college is just on the west coast of the Vaigai River with a great view of its beauty and with some fresh air.
