Review of Government College of Engineering, Karad.
Placements: Most of us are well placed now. I was placed at Visa Steel Ltd in Odisha and companies like TCS, ONGC, Vedanta, Infosys, Ultratech, Jaypee, HZL and Wipro typically accept average students with 65 percent score. This occurs every year due to the abundant internship opportunities available at this college. Additionally, you can obtain free internships through the college based on merit. There are also chances to secure internships with top and reputable companies in India, such as NTPC, BHEL, BSNL, and Reliance.
Infrastructure: After attending the semester-end exams, students can only pass if they have earned at least 50 (username_1) or 45 (including 50% internals) points. Thus, by completing the coursework and earning 26 credits from the 1st and 2nd semesters, students can get promoted to the 5th semester; similarly, 52 credits from the 1st to 4th semesters are required for promotion to the 7th semester. The college used to have a hostel on-site, but that building has now been transformed into an administrative block. Currently, there are no hostel facilities, although there is a college canteen inside the campus.
Faculty: The student-to-faculty ratio is quite good. Exams are relatively easy; all you need to do is purchase some Twenty 20 guides to secure good marks in the examinations. It's important to attend your classes, as this fosters better coordination with your teachers. There is no hostel facility, as the college is situated in a prime location in Jabalpur, surrounded by numerous coaching classes and hotels.
Other: I chose the B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering department because it aligns with my goals and aids in achieving my aspirations.

A truly best college. Faculty was also good, and placements are the best.
Placements: In the current year, 75% of students were placed from the Electronics and Telecommunication engineering branch. The highest package is 12 LPA, the lowest package is 4 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA. TCS, Hella, Bharat Electronics Limited, Burns, Siemens Energy, Aeron, etc. are the top companies hiring students from the Electronics and Telecommunication engineering branch. 65% of students got internships from the ENTC course in the above top companies. Companies hire ENTC students as junior engineers, senior engineers, etc.
Infrastructure: In the Electronics and Telecommunication engineering department, all the facilities are provided, such as unlimited Wi-Fi, proper labs with all required materials, and fresh classrooms. Also, the hostel is good and provides great facilities and things such as furniture, fans, lights, washing machines, etc. The mess food is also good.
Faculty: In the Electronics and Telecommunication engineering branch, teachers are helpful, highly qualified, and experienced. The teaching quality is truly good. The curriculum is also good and makes students ready for the industry and placements. Semester exams are of mid-level difficulty, but students get the highest marks because of the teaching.

Disappointed with the college; the campus is unclean, and there is a low placement rate.
Placements: The placement rate for the last year was about 30%. The highest package offered was 10 LPA, the average package was 4.2 LPA, and the lowest was 1 LPA. The recruiting companies were local and hybrid companies. Talking about internships, about 50% secured internships. Top roles offered were electronics manager, telecom engineer, mechatronics engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The college has good-speed Wi-Fi, and some classrooms are equipped with digital boards. The library lacks course subject books, and the facilities in the hostel are average, with unclean surroundings. The mess and canteen serve hygienic food, but the college lacks medical facilities. This college does not encourage sports and other extracurricular activities.
Faculty: Teachers are responsible but low-qualified, and the teaching quality is average. The course curriculum is excellent for making students industry-ready. Semester exams are slightly difficult due to the changing paper pattern, and the pass percentage for each subject in the semester exam is 40%.

I am satisfied with good faculty, teaching, environment, practical knowledge, and campus.
Placements: Almost 80% to 90% of students get placed in companies. The highest salary package offered in our course is 25 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Schneider Electric, Tata Group, Infosys, Wipro, and Cummins. Around 90% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Our college has good facilities and a good infrastructure. All labs and classrooms are well facilitated. There are digital classrooms. The campus is good. The environment is good. The canteen serves good food at an affordable price. There is a big playground and a big library for students. It is a good college.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, experienced, and helpful. This course makes students entrepreneurs. Exams are neither difficult nor easy. The pass percentage is 90%. Good companies provide placements with good salary packages.
Other: I am good at electronics and coding, so I chose this course. It provides good practical knowledge. An annual gathering, cultural day, and project competition are conducted on campus.

This college is one of the best in Maharashtra and it became an Autonomous college in 2015.
Placements: Well, as per the record of our college placement there are server mechanical, IT, ENTC, Electrical and also Civil most of the times core companies come, but most of the companies are related to IT sector and providing average package around 4-5 LPA. This year the highest package is of 25 LPA in our college.
Infrastructure: Our college has very authentic infrastructure which is funded by the gov. Of Maharashtra. Also we have newly built Central Library which is funded by the World Bank. But, the hostels infrastructure is eagerly needed renovation. The PG hostels are absolutely up to the mark with the mess.
Faculty: The faculty is good and very much co-operative. Our honorable principal Mr. A. T. Pise is very enthusiastic and calm personality. The faculty to student ratio is low but few faculty members have a high domains expertise. Few have industry experience and few are new in this field.
Other: Aavishkar is a technical event held every year in February, in which many neighboring colleges and institutes participate. Other than, non- technical events like TEDx also conducted by the students only.
