GEC Thrissur: A perfect launchpad for an aspiring engineer.

Placements: Placements are from Reliance, MRF, Sudchemy, and many other non-core IT companies. Placements are usually conducted through online video meetings and exams, which I find can allow many unworthy students to pass, as cheating is practiced by many. Offline interviews are also common but the bigger core companies prefer online selection.

GEC Thrissur is overall a great college.

Placements: Placements here are pretty good. Mechanical, ECE, and CSE have the highest percentage of students placed, including decent placements in other branches such as civil, EEE, chemical, and production. The highest package is 50 LPA and the average package goes from 10 LPA to 12 LPA. The top recurring company is Walkaroo and many students have been placed there.

Nice memorable college.

Placements: Civil engineering has few placement options because it is more relevant in the government field, but the college still provides good placement opportunities. Even students with supplies are considered for these placements. This college is really in front for placements.

Great college for core branches and students who are really passionate about engineering.

Placements: About 80% of the students are being placed at either core or non-core companies. A great percentage of core placements are reported, and it is one of the highest in Kerala. Core companies like JSW, MRF, Ashok Leyland, and Annora instrumentation have given placements, and the average is above 6LPA.

My review on GEC Thrissur.

Placements: Talking about placement percentage, it's like 75 percent when it comes to my course, and the highest package for my course is 32 LPA as per now, with an average of 4 LPA. Companies like MRF, Reliance, Saint Gobain, TCS, Infosys, Wipro recruit from my college.

Pros and cons of the Government Engineering College, Thrissur.

Placements: Talking about the placement scenario in our civil department is lower compared to the other branches, like computer science and mechanical. The top recruiting companies are the Land T, Shobha Construction, and MRF, which visit the campus for placements. The package is offered at around 32 LPA, while the average packages range from 4 LPA to 6 LPA. On average, around 20% of civil students got placed, looking at the overall college placement of 60%-77%. The college's active placement cell and good ...

With such a nice percentage in your 12th exams and a respectable score in NATA, you have a very good chance for getting B.Arch admission at GEC, Thrissur. For you to be eligible, the criteria require a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in your 12th exams, which you easily meet.
