Admission to all the courses offered is made purely based on merit and depends on the candidate's score in the CET examination for UG programs and is merit-based for PG courses. Apart from this, the institute also provides reservation seats for eligible candidates. So, students can join Govt Law College based on CET score and no direct admission. 

Yes, it is so easy to get admission in GLC college.In the past few years, the cutoff marks for admission to Government Law College, Churchgate, have been subject to variations.  The cutoffs, especially for the general category and out-of-state students, are set very high, requiring excellent performance in the MH CET Law exam. While there is a minimum eligibility percentage for the MH CET Law exam, a high score in the exam is necessary to secure a seat due to high competition and limited seats. 

Apart from qualifying in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) national level exam, the key eligibility criteria to get admission into the LLB programme at Government Law College (GLC), Churchgate are :-

1. Educational Qualification: - The candidate must compulsorily hold a bachelor’s degree (in any discipline) that is recognised by universities or boards established under UGC. 

2. Minimum Marks:-  They need to secure a minimum overall aggregate of 50% marks in their bachelor's degree. For reserved categories, it is 45%.

3. Final year students in their undergraduate programme are also eligible to apply subject to meeting above marks criteria in their final exam results .

4. Age Limit:-  No age restrictions but one must fulfill above degree criteria.

Thus, in accordance with bar council guidelines, obtaining a UG degree with a minimum of 50% of total marks is necessary for applying to GLC Churchgate's LLB program, in addition to passing the CLAT.
