Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) (Lateral Entry) - Batch of 2015
Offered by HIET Group of Institutions

Average college. It needs to improve in terms of infrastructure, placements and other facilities.
Placements: In our batch, there were very few placements, they were around 10 placement opportunities for about 250 students. There were no campus interviews. For our batch, the industry exposure was zero. Ours was the second batch passing out of the college. However, there was a technical entry interview organised twice for Indian Army.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is still under construction. Still, it has to be improved a lot. The computer labs are good, but mechanical labs need to be improved. The library is not in good condition. For sports, there is no ground available. However, there are sports events organised annually. Parking facility is not good, or you can say worse.
Faculty: In some cases, the faculty are good but some of them are inexperienced. Some of the teachers are M.Tech qualified, but there are many teachers who are only B.Tech qualified. Many passed out students of the college are taken as teachers. Most of the faculty are not permanent, they leave the college when they get a better package from some other firms. Many times, they made strikes for not paying them.
Other: The annual function, tech fest and sports meets are organised in the college. The campus is 1km away from the highway. If you have your own vehicle, then its good, otherwise, you have to go by walk.
