Really good college, like if you make good friends who hustle and are fun at the same time.

Infrastructure: The hostels are pretty old and dirty, but are being maintained every year. All the hostels have Wi-Fi with a speed of up to 300 Mbps, and in the curfew hours, like around 10 pm, the speed goes to 30 to 40 Mbps. The campus is clean, but roads are very poorly maintained however, work is underway and will probably be finished in 5 to 6 months. The library is one of the best places with AC and sofas for reading journals and computer desks for studying, and a computer center which will open soon for ...

My honest review about my college.

Infrastructure: So far we have not come to the electives stage that will be given to me in the second year but in the first year, I have to study all three subjects that are physical, organic, and inorganic chemistry. I will opt for physical chemistry as my elective in 2nd year. I am staying in PG and I pay Rs. 6000 per month and the facilities are not very much good but they are just fine to stay. Food is not quality food but it does the job and is better than eating fast food.

My honest review of my college.

Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility in the college as the college is located at a prime location of Jabalpur where a lot of coaching classes. Hotels and PGs are available at a very economical rate which we will not find anywhere else. It is small. The hostel facility is the most attractive thing in this institution and I can definitely suggest one who needs the hostel facility to choose this college.

IIEST Shibpur is worth it or not.

Infrastructure: In first-year classrooms good number of fans and lights are there. They are also very clean and neat but there is no Wi-Fi connection. Labs are also nice. Our hostel buildings are too old, infrastructure is not that good at hostel. Wi-Fi connection is there with good speed. Mess food is decent. Three canteens are there on our campus. Medical facilities are not available (except for everyday and small problems) but they provide health cards. All sports and games facilities are available and good.

It is the 2nd oldest engineering college and the only IIEST in India.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good but quite old. It is being constantly renovated. There are around 20 hostels with a 1,000 seater and a 10 storeyed. It already completed its construction. The girls' hostels are particularly large with good food. Boys' hostels are average with average food. The exception is on an occasional basis.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is of good speed, and the library is very good, but there is no AC. Canteen facilities are very good, and you will get multiple canteens. Sports facilities are good, especially for cricket, volleyball, football, table tennis, and basketball. You can be a member of the institute team and participate in inter-NIT events if you are a good player. Labs are also more than enough. The infrastructure is old but sufficient.
