IIIT Allahabad Admission 2025: Cutoff, Fees, Eligibility & Application

The list of documents required depends upon the applied course. Further, students are required to submit the following documents at the time admission at IIIT Allahabad:

1. Class 10 and 12 passing certificates & mark sheets
2. JEE Main/ GATE/ CAT scorecard (for BTech/MTech/MBA respectively)
3. Passport-size photograph
4. Character certificate and migration certificate (if applicable)
5. Income certificate (if applicable)
6. School leaving certificate and Domicile certificate (if applicable)
7. Provisional seat allocation letter from JoSAA/CSAB (web copy – BTech/MTech)
8. JEE Mains Admit Card (for BTech course admission)
9. JEE Mains All India Score-cum-Rank card (web copy for BTech course admission)

The admission is entrance-based at the institute. Aspirants are required to apply with a valid score of the course-specific accepted entrance examination in order to apply. The accepted entrance exams are JEE Main, CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ MAT/ GMAT, GATE, etc. Further, the seat allotment process for BTech and MTech is through JoSAA and CCMT counselling, respectively.

Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad offers UG and PG courses across various streams. The fee structure of the programme differ and it offers affordable fee structure. The fee ranges from INR 2.9 Lacs - INR 6.5 Lacs fee for the programmes. The fee structure only inculdes tuition fee and no other cost inculded such as admission fee, hostel, application fee, and others. 

Yes, IIIT Allahabad offers multiple scholarship options, including national or central scholarships, state scholarships, organisational scholarships, departmental scholarships, and institute scholarships. More details regarding the same are given below: 

1) Institute Merit Cum Means Scholarship: For this scholarship, students must have SGPI >= 8.5 and their family Income should be less than INR 5 LPA. 

2) Institute Merit Incentive Award: For this scholarship, students must have SGPI >= 9. 

Students can apply for the Merit Cum Means scholarship at IIIT Allahabad through the official website. To be eligible for the scholarships, candidates must have a cumulative average of SGPI for two semesters only per year, which should be equal to or above 8.50. Also, the annual income of the candidate should be less than INR 5.00 LPA. Up to 3% of the total students enrolled in the programme will receive this scholarship. Students will receive INR 36,000 per year through this scholarship.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the general category under All India, the opening rank was 8428 and the closing rank was 9558. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even the domicile of the home state. Admission to BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering at IIIT Allahabad - Indian Institute of Information Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut-offs.
