Review of NIT Calicut - National Institute of Technology.
Placements: Mostly, eight percent of the students are out of the job market. The highest package is INR 33 LPA in core civil, the average package is INR 14 LPA, and the lowest package is around INR 5-7 LPA. Amazon, Intel, Accenture, Infosys, etc. are the top recruiting companies. Even good internships are offered.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good enough, mainly in terms of infrastructure, as it was an old college building. Even new buildings are there, and every classroom is digitalized. Coming to the North, people have to adjust somehow regarding
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and knowledgeable, giving their 100 percent efforts. The course curriculum is very relevant, which allows them to get ready for industrial purposes compared to other colleges. Exams are a bit harder.

Review of my college #Nitc.
Placements: 50% of students are from their home state, and 50% are from other states. The highest package is INR 40 lakhs, and the average package is INR 5 lakhs. The top companies are Oracle, etc. 70% of students are placed in internships. In my course, many core jobs will come from the petroleum and paper industries.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are available, like Wi-Fi; labs and classrooms are available; and the library is available 24/7. The hostel facility is average. Food is not that good in a mess. Rooms are very small; in the first year, we used to accommodate five people in one room. And medical facilities are there but not that good. Sports and games are okay.
Faculty: Here at our college, we are ranked 5th in the NIRF ranking for teaching. Teachers are well knowledgeable and they are PhDs, so their overall teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is not that helpful in engineering life. Yes, the semester exams are very difficult at our college. And here the pass mark is decided by the toppers papers and average mark; not a specific mark is there for pass.
Other: For my JEE Main rank, I got this chemical engineering so I opted for it. Many intentions and teachers are good and facilities are good. They introduce the correct and useful curriculum. Here, fests are not as good as expected. Sometimes college is canceling our fests too and postponing their dates.

My College Experience: A Journey of Growth and Learning.
Placements: In the B.Tech Electrical Engineering course at NIT Calicut, around 180 students are enrolled every year; a high percentage of students were placed after completion of their studies. The exact percentage varies from year to year, but it is typically around 90–95%. The highest package offered in this course was around INR 38.04 lacs per annum, while the lowest was around INR 5 lacs per annum. The average package offered was around INR 14.74 lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies for this course include TATA Consultancy Services, Infosys, Wipro, and many more. A considerable percentage of students also receive internships from top companies like Siemens, ABB, and L&T. The top roles offered in this course are in the fields of power systems, control systems, and electronics and communication.
Infrastructure: The Electrical Department at NIT Calicut provides students with top-notch facilities and infrastructure. The department has well-equipped labs and classrooms with high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity, enabling students to easily access online resources and complete assignments. The library is also well-stocked with books, journals, and research papers that cater to the academic needs of students and faculty. Moving on to the hostels, the facilities are pretty good, and the rooms are well maintained. The mess serves various delicious and healthy foods, and the canteen offers tasty snacks and beverages. The medical facilities are also good, with a well-equipped health center. As for sports and games, NIT Calicut has excellent infrastructure with well-maintained fields and courts for cricket, football, basketball, badminton, and other sports.
Faculty: The faculty in my department is known for being helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also generally considered to be quite good. As for the curriculum, it is considered to be quite good. As for the curriculum, it is considered to be relevant and prepares students to be industry-ready. However, the difficulty level of the semester exams can vary depending on the specific course and professor. The pass percentage is also dependent on the difficulty of the exams, but I can't provide you with a specific number.
Other: I chose to pursue a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from NIT Calicut because of my fascination with electricity and how it powers the world around us. The best thing about various electrical systems and technologies, as well as the chance to work on hands-on projects, is that there are many great things about my course, but there are a few areas that could be improved. For one, there could be more focus on practical applications and industry connections. Additionally, the campus surroundings could be more vibrant and conducive to learning. There are many events and extracurricular activities available on campus that could help enhance the overall experience. There is an annual cultural fest 'RAGAM' and a technical fest 'TATHVA' that is celebrated.
