Review of IIIT Lucknow - Indian Institute of Information Technology.
Placements: The placements at our college are good but they don't reveal a complete picture. Here it is a good college and the coding culture is amazing but the fact is you have to work hard for those dream packages. Other than that the course curriculum is good and the seniors are helpful. The placements are good. The average package is around 30 LPA and the median is also around 27 or something fabulous. Last year, Google also came to our college. For internships also some companies come to our college.
Infrastructure: The mess food is decent enough and the quality is I won't say good but it is certainly not bad. The medical facility is there for students most of the times. Wi-Fi and sports facilities are also fairly good. The hostels they can't accommodate all the students so the 1st year they stay outside the college.
Faculty: I would say teachers knowledge here is good and they mostly teach well. Course curriculum is also advanced and relevant with respect to the current market scenario. Here from the first year only we are taught coding subjects. It makes the students industry-ready. The exams also have a good level.
Other: I chose this course because I knew the coding culture was going to be solid here and the curriculum of IIITs is also best. The campus life could have been somewhat better than what it is but still, it is decent as it is a more academically focused college.

The faculties are highly qualified and replacement is also very high
Placements: The placement cell of our college approaches many multinational companies like Google, Flipkart, Amazon etc. The highest package offered on campus is above 1 CR per annum where is the average package offered is 30 lacs per annum and the lowest package offered is 10 lakhs per annum.
Infrastructure: The quality of food is very good whereas the canteen in our college is small. If you talk of the sports then there is carrom board, gymnastics, table tennis etc. There is a sports and yoga instructor in our college also. There is a medical room present in our college.
Faculty: The difficulty of exam depends on the faculty. In every semester there are two exams, one is mid semester exam and another is end semester exam. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes the student industrial ready. The faculties are highly qualified and helping.
Other: In our college scholarship is provided to OBC student under NSP scholarship scheme which provides complete tuition fees. This is provided to the OBC student who's family income is less than 2.5 lakhs per annum. Uttar Pradesh scholarship scheme is also present which provides 50000 per annum to EWS category students.

College is worth it for placement and coding culture but not for a good college life.
Placements: In B.Tech, there are about 91% of students who were placed in the 2024 placement session despite the recession. The highest domestic package was 62.5 lpa, with an average of 29.85 lpa. The top recruiting companies are Uber, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Atlassian, Walmart, etc. Almost 50–60% of students get internships here.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is a bit average. Wi-Fi speed is not up to par in every area of college. Labs are well maintained. Classrooms have comfortable chairs and sitting capacity. The quality of hostels is below average, which is not good for boys but better for girls.
Faculty: There are very few academic loads in our college. We are taught computer science subjects from the first year onward; there are no unnecessary subjects in the first year. Most of the faculty members are helpful and supportive. The course curriculum is industry-relevant. Semester exams are not very difficult.

About my college (IIIT Lucknow).
Placements: Placements are good. Top MNCs come here for placement. You are taught the basics of CSE, from the first year itself. The coding society gives their best to check the performance of every student.
Infrastructure: The hostels are not so big, as the college is new, but the hostel experience is good. The mess food is hygienic and the meals are updated every month with new menu.
Faculty: Teachers are good. They are also helpful. The faculties have good qualification, which gets highlighted through their way of awesome teaching.
Other: You can choose any branch, as all are CSE based and it will not affect your placements. Senior-junior interaction is very useful. The seniors are always ready to help you.

It had awesome placements in the year 2021-2022.
Placements: The branch which I have pursued only began from our batch and since we have just passed out we don't have the data for placement in our course. But if I talk about other courses which were there, placements were awesome. The average salary package was 25.86 LPA this year and the highest was 1.2 CPA off campus and nearly 45 LPA on campus. About 100% of students are placed and the top roles offered were SDEs.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure for the course are good. The labs, classroom, and library are impressive, and Wi-Fi here is very good. But if we talk about boys hostel only the facilities are not good enough. There is not enough accommodation for this much strength. The Wi-Fi in the hostel is not good. Mess food is very good if we compare it with other colleges. Breakfast and snacks are awesome.
Faculty: There are only 3-4 teachers which are good and experienced, but other than that they need to hire some good teachers. The course curriculum is well structured and relevant to the course only. If I talk about our course which is CSAI then you will study related to this course only. Exams here are quite good compared to other colleges and you won't feel much pressure in getting a good SGPI. The pass percentage is 4 SGPI in our college.
Other: AI is a fascinating subject and rapidly growing course and I pursued it so that I could understand it and have a career in it. The best part about the course is you will learn many new things like ML, deep learning, vision processing, and many more things related to it which will amaze you. I would say they just need to hire some good teachers and the rest is good. Many events happen on regular basis like tech competitions, sports events, and cultural events. We have our annual tech fest Equinox where you will code for 2-3 days restlessly and will make many memories. The crowd here is the best. You will make many new connections from different parts of India. They regularly send scholarship-related details which you can avail yourself of if eligible.

Good placement opportunities.
Placements: 100% of students are placed during the previous two years. The highest package is 43 LPA.
The lowest package is 10LPA and
average package is 18.5 LPA.
Generally by the end of second year the students start getting internships and mostly 80 to 90 percent of them will have internships by the end of third year. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Microsoft.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are relatively bad than compared to other institutes but classrooms are good. Wi-fi campus, even labs are good and all of them are newly built ones. Mess food is north Indian type. It has 50 acres of campus. You have large fields where you can enjoy playing.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable but we can't depend fully on teachers for our studies. We need to work on our own for getting deep into subject. Moving to course curriculum its relevant as from first only they will get into core computer Science. And also nice course structure. Even we have people who are from industry to teach us. College exam are above average. But pass percentage is nearly 100.
Other: We have 6 cultural clubs and 2 technical clubs. And moving to junior senior interaction and coding culture is very nice. Which is the main reason for such a high placements. No much scholarships are provided from institute.

Review of IIIT Lucknow - Indian Institute of Information Technology.
Placements: As this course was started in 2020 so there are no placements done from the CSAI branch. IIIL shows 100% placements of batch 2018 &2017 with an average of 18.3 LPA and the highest salary package offered was 43 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 10 LPA, and the median was around 15 LPA. Many IT companies like Microsoft, Flipkart, Paytm, Uber, Google, IBM, Amazon, etc., visit the campus during placement sessions. Some students got internships from campus but most of the students got internships off-campus in companies like Flipkart, Linkedin, Paytm, Amazon, Microsoft, etc.
Infrastructure: IIITL is a new college established in 2015 so its infrastructure is new and too good. It is developing every day. It completed its phase 1 of development including the main building and hostels. IIITL provides labs, libraries, and hostels to their students. They provide a 24X7 free Wi-Fi facility in the hostel. Classroom and libraries are good with new benches and fully air-conditioning. Hostels are quite good with facilities including mess with a quality meal, indoor games like carrom board, table tennis, two badminton courts, and football ground are still developing. The medical facility is good and a doctor visits the hostel repeatedly to check the health status of students.
Faculty: IIITL has the latest curriculum with the latest course. The course is divided into 8 semesters. Two exams are conducted every semester one is mid-semester and the second is end-semester. Teachers are very helpful in every manner and all professors are Ph.D. holders from India's top IITs and NITs which come out with a high quality of education. The course curriculum is the latest and it's very relevant for placements. It makes students industry-ready. Due to COVID, everything is going online. So, it is very easy for students to qualify for exams. But in offline mode also it is not hard to qualify for the semester exams but you have to study atleast for 10-15 days. The pass percentage is approximately 99%.
Other: I chose CSAI because I have a huge interest in computers and artificial intelligence and how they are growing. The best thing about our course is that it gives me an oppertunity to develop myself, and explore the growing world and to know the advanced technologies. The course is already good. But it can be better if colleges start to be practical but not too theoretical. As many societies like cultural, technical, after dark are there and clubs like Zephyr for dance, Goonj for drama, Estrella for singing, Utkrist for art, After Dark for photography, Axios for CP, Web D, App D, etc. Batch 2020 strength is 240 and for the upcoming batch, it will be 320. There is a mall and a cricket stadium near the college. The airport is around 6 km away and the railway station is around 10 km away from the college. As the college is running on PPP (public-private partnership) so, no scholarship is provided by the college. But students may apply for state and central scholarship programs.

In IIIT Lucknow, you will have success.
Placements: The first of many features of IIITL, which makes this institute very fine from other new institutes, is its excellent placement record ever. Since the passing out year of the first batch is 2019, the placement statistics of IIITL are increasing. In 2018-2019, the highest salary package offered was 28 LPA, while the average salary package offered was 11.37 LPA, which is quite an achievement for an institute in its infancy. The real ability of IIITL was proven in 2019-2020 placements where the highest salary package offered was up to 43 LPA, whereas the average salary package offered was 18.42 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 10 LPA. This year there was a 100% placement rate, which is almost not possible in new institutes. Top recruiting companies here were prestigious companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, Flipkart, Samsung, Paytm, TCL, Wipro and many more. This placement record is expected to increase in the upcoming years.
Infrastructure: IIITL was established in 2015 under the wing of IIIT Allahabad and shifted to its own Lucknow newly built campus in 2019. On the new campus, the infrastructure was up-to-date with all the modern standards, including air-conditioned and spacious classrooms. The hostel building has all the basic facilities and many other facilities. Labs are equipped with all the latest technologies and equipment. The mess serves high-quality meals four times a day, including evening tea. The mess is friendly to both North and South Indians even after being purely vegetarian serving one. The campus is located near the Phoenix Palassio mall, which is the biggest mall in Lucknow and is a perfect destination for a night out. Sports facilities are also above average. Our college also has started building a gym on the campus, which will be completed very soon.
Faculty: Faculty members of IIITL are very qualified and experienced in their respective fields. All of them hold a PhD from prestigious institutes and have years of teaching experience. We study sports as a compulsory subject because it facilitates physical well-being. There are no unnecessary subjects like physics and chemistry which are not at all useful to us. The coding culture of IIITL is also one of its distinguishing features. IIITL regularly conducts hackathons and coding competitions both among students of our college and students of other colleges.
Other: Seniors in IIITL are very supportive and helpful. There are also many clubs in which freshers can join. Those clubs are literary society named Crotonia, photography society named Afterdark, dance society and many more. Our institute organises an annual cultural fest called Equinox, in which many events are held.
