IIIT Lucknow MSc Courses & Fees 2025: Admission, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Yes, there is an entrance exam for MBA IIIT Lucknow. Central University Entrance Test (Postgraduate) or CUET PG is the entrance exam accepted by IIIT Lucknow for admission to its MBA course for the academic year 2024. Candidates must apply for an MBA via the CUET PG's official website. They must appear for the exam and the personal interview conducted by the department. However, before applying to be eligible for the MBA program is mandatory. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% (45% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in any discipline.

IIIT Lucknow offers an MSc course in Data Science that is offered as a regular course lasting for two years. The course offers students knowledge on analyzing and using large ddataand use data tolls. To secure admission in the MSc data Science candidates must have a Bachelor's degree (BA /BSc /BStat/BMath/BTech/BE or equivalent) with a background in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, o r Physics. Further, candidates must participate in the national-level entrance exam IIT JAM 2025 and secure a valid score. Candidates with a valid JAm score become eligible to apply via the CCMN counseling portal. The MSc seats will be allotted to students via the CCMN counselling. IIIT Lucknow fees for two years MSc course is around INR 2 lakh. Candidates have to report to the allotted institute and get the hard copies of the documents verified and pay the requisite admission fees. To get admission to MSc at IIIT Lucknow the reuired steps are:

• You must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks or a 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale for General/OBC candidates, and 55% marks or a 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST/PwD candidates. 
• JAM scorecard is needed to get admission 
• you need to Pay the requisite application fee as specified in the admission notification
• remember one thing, candidates are shortlisted on the basis of JAM score
• Upon selection, you will need to provide original documents for verification, including academic transcripts, JAM scorecard, identification proof, and other relevant certificates.

The Counselling process of Regular Rounds consists of following stages excluding preregistration:
? Online Registration, Payment of Registration Fee, Choice Filling and Locking of Choices.
? Three Rounds of Counselling: Seat Allotment, Depositing Seat Acceptance Fee, Submitting Willingness, Uploading Documents, and Online Document Verification.
? Payment of Partial Admission Fee.
? Physical Reporting at the Finally Allotted Institute.

CCMN Application form for the counselling process will be out in the fourth week of May 2026, tentatively. Students who will appear for the IIT JAM 2026 examination and wishes to take admissions in the MSc/ MSc Tech degree porgrammes offered at NITs, IIEST Shibpur and some CFTI institutes need to fill out the CCMN 2026 online application cum counselling form.

CCMN refers to Centralized Counselling for MSc/MSc (Tech). This is a platform for the admission to NITs, CFTI, IIEST Shibpur, and SLIET Longowal.

The CCMN counselling is done on the basis of scores of the applicants in IIT JAM exam. There are multiple rounds of seat allotments in these instititues are done through CCMN.
