If u are study oriented, you can join this college .

Placements: Placement records in the college was decent. Many companies visited our college. Approximately 80% of the students got placed. Average package was 7 LPA, and the highest was 20 LPA. Mostly companies were service based only, few were products based company who visited. For internship, you have to be self aware and fight for it.

Infrastructure: Overall the infrastructure is good. All the basic facilities are available in my college. The building is beautiful. Classrooms are big and awesome. Medical facilities are available too. Hostel is decent. We have Wi-Fi and electricity supply, which is also good but the mess food is not very good .

Faculty: Teachers are very highly qualified. They are very knowledgeable. They always give us right guidance. They are very friendly, they always listen to our problems and give us the right solution. Course curriculum is a bit old like all other colleges.

Other: I chose this course to get into the IT sector and earn good money. And I also love coding. Curriculum is a bit old & it can be improved .

B.Teach in Information technology course from the IIITL.

Placements: There were ample number of placement opportunities given to the students at the IIIT Lucknow. Around 40-45% students of the information technology get placed at our college. Top recruiting companies were Airtel, Infosys, IBM, Wipro etc. Around 60-70% of the students also get internships at our college.

Infrastructure: This college provides a good infrastructure for our course. For our course, all the required facilities are provided by the students. Wi-Fi, labs, library, canteen, hostel, parking, sports etc. facilities were available for the students. All these facilities were of good quality and well maintained by the management.

Faculty: The faculty of the college was helpful and supportive to the students of our course. All the professors at the college were well-qualified and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching offered was good. This course curriculum at the college was relevant. Semester exams were of moderately difficult level.

Things to know before taking admission into IIITL.

Placements: Almost 90% of the students from the current passing batch are placed. The highest package is 82 LPA, the average is 26 LPA, and the lowest is 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Google, Rubrik, Atlassian, Harness, etc. About 70% of students got internships in companies like Google, Flipkart, PayPal, Uber, etc. Top roles offered include software engineer, data analyst, data engineer, developer, etc.

Infrastructure: There is no proper hostel for boys, as girls and boy hostels are not separate. Girls occupy the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors, while boys are on the ground, 4th, and 5th floors. Boys are also placed in dormitories, with 12 boys in a single room. The medical facility is not up to the mark, but the food is good.

Faculty: The faculty members are good, but there is room for improvement. The hostel has a strict attendance policy of 75%. The teaching quality is moderate, varying across subjects. Some subjects may not contribute to placements but contribute to overall growth. Semester exams range from moderate to tough, with a passing percentage of 50% or 6 CGPA.

Other: I am a student of IT, focusing on building a strong base in software architecture. The faculty members could be better. Regarding events, there is an annual techno-cultural festival called Equinox, along with many other short festivals. The campus crowd has a vibrant atmosphere. Scholarships are received from NSP, and students participate in various activities.

Really good curriculum and coding culture.

Placements: Placements are great. In 2023's placement drive, 100% of the students were placed with the average package being around 30 LPA. The highest package was 59 LPA, offered by Uber and Median was 25LPA. Top companies that recruited includes Flipkart, Meesho, Uber, and Media. Net. Majorly software developed roles are offered.

Infrastructure: All the classrooms and labs are air-conditioned. The mess serves good quality food (only veg, except for boiled egg which is available during breakfast) and the taste is also good (comparatively). Our college has two grounds (where students play cricket and football), a volleyball court and a badminton court.

Faculty: The course curriculum is one of the best. From the 1st semester itself, you'll learn core CS/IT related subjects (no irrelevant subjects). Also, the curriculum is not very hectic, so you get a lot of free time to develop your skills, hence, the coding culture is also great. IIITL follows relatively grading for all exams, quizzes and lab. Some teachers are really good.

It has good placement and is highly focused on the tech field.

Placements: Around 100% of placements are available until now. The highest package was 1.2 CPA and the lowest package was 12-14 LPA. About 50% of the total students were selected for internships in Uber, Google, Qualcomm, Condensation, LinkedIn, and top companies. There were 9 grocers, and 2 step interns. SDE roles were offered in our course.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and is recently built. The admin block has air-conditioned classrooms. The campus is small compared to other colleges. The food in the mess is not too good but it is bearable. The medical facilities are not good. We have playgrounds but they are small. Indoor games like chess table tennis and carom board are also there.

Faculty: The curriculum is very good and up to date. The curriculum is not outdated with vague subjects, instead, it's updated with current tech-related subjects only. We are not taught physics chemistry maths but only technical subjects. Teachers are qualified, but as in most colleges, we need to study on our own.

Placements in our college are very good

Placements: Placements in our college are very good. The average salary package offered was around 17 LPA. Almost 50% of the students will get an internship at popular companies, and our college provides 100% placements. It is a very good college for students who achieve a good rank in JEE and for coding culture, and also they will conduct many coding events and give hoodies as well.

Infrastructure: This college is India's the best college for coders. The support from alumni of this college is the best. It is the best place to grow in the sector of software development. Infrastructures is still growing and getting better and there is good canteen and other facilities are available.

Faculty: None of the faculty members here are good. You will have to study most of the things on your own. You will be in trouble if you will be dependent on your teachers or faculty members while being here. They are only meant for formalities and attendance. Students cannot miss classes frequently because the college follows CCLCAA Ordinance, and 75% attendance is necessary.

Other: The college conduct many events and fest like Equinox, Enspire and many cultural and gaming events.

Everything is good in this college.

Placements: The placement cell of IIIT Lucknow is far better than any other college, even in a very less time. The average package secured by the students was 17.54 LPA, and the highest package peaked out to 43.3 LPA, both observing a growth of 154% from the previous session. Along with that, the median salary for the batch was 15 LPA. Our recruiters include Google, Microsoft, Amazon, LinkedIn, Direct, Flipkart, Samsung, Sabre, American Express, MindTickle, Expedia, Ships, Acko, Bounce, Bizongo and others who selected our students.

Infrastructure: IIIT Lucknow is under construction. The hostels are well-designed, providing every facility and security. Our hostel rooms are much better than the hostel rooms of most of the IITs and NITs. It has Wi-Fi, geysers, water purifier, washing machines, and 24x7 security. CCTV cameras are installed in the hostel for safety.

Faculty: All the faculty members of this college are highly qualified because they are recruited for the job after giving tough interviews. All the faculty members are very helpful, and they always encourage us. Students are made industry-ready with regular workshops and a very good coding culture.

Absolutely satisfied with my college.

Placements: Placements turned out to be record-breaking. The first batch secured an average of 11.37 LPA was surely a rare thing. The training and placement outperformed its own expectation this year. The most notable thing was the lowest salary package was 10LPA. A few of the top companies were Google, Microsoft, Direct, Nutanix, etc.

Infrastructure: The academic block has spacious air-conditioned rooms with so many facilities in each room. The food served in mess is average. There is a 24x7 nurse and a daily visiting doctor present on the campus. For Sports, we have an indoor sports room and 2 badminton courts. We have everything required.

Faculty: The course curriculum is the best in IT& CS branches. All the faculty members are holding PhDs, and from next semester there are so many faculty members from the top university from India and outside joining. Overall the faculty are very helpful and they always encourage us.

Other: We have technical fest Equinox, which was sponsored by Microsoft, Github, etc. The coding culture is one of the best in India.

Taking into consideration the placement stats of IIIT Lucknow this year, you may get IT here but may in later rounds of JOSAA or CSAB. For general category expected closing rank for IT is around 13000 to 14000 (these are just predictions). So in JOSAA rounds, it may be difficult. But there are good

With a JEE Mains rank of little less than 27000, can someone get CSE or IT ? If not, what options are available in IIIT-L?

You can get CSE or it in any of the low NIT. And, it was observed during 2018 counseling till round the student with 26459 got a seat in IIIT and for a female, it was 29976. But in spot round, it was nearly 28000 for gender neutral.
