Low rank college, Indian Institute of Information Technology, Manipur.

Placements: Last year, the percentage of students placed was around 46%, and this year, placements are ongoing. Last year, the highest package was 12 LPA, and the lowest package was around 3 LPA. Most companies take software engineers, and there is no placement for electronics and communication engineering. Top roles offered are analytics and software engineer. No internships were provided through college.

Infrastructure: In the hostel, Wi-Fi connectivity is very good, but in college, there are some places where there is no Wi-Fi available. Classrooms are very small, with a capacity of around 60 students, but last year, 3 additional classrooms were inaugurated, increasing the capacity to around 150 students. In college, there is only one bakery. Sports facilities are very poor; there is no indoor stadium, and TT tables are broken, but there is around a 400 M.A. ground. No medical facilities are available in the college. Mess food is very poor, and they charge a high cost for mess food, around 50 thousand for 1 semester.

Faculty: Some teachers are very qualified, but there are some teachers who are only there because of their state criteria. Teaching quality is moderate, and some teachers have obtained their degrees from foreign countries. Semester exams are very moderate, not too difficult. In one semester, there are three assessments and one end-sem examination, and for the lab, there is only a mid-sem and end-sem exam. The course curriculum is very poor. In the 1st year, they only teach the C language, while some good colleges teach Python in the 1st year.

Other: The reason behind choosing this course is the low rank in JEE Main. There are two major events: one is the fresher party, and the other is the hi-tech fest Ahouba. No other fest is organised by the college, but some students are organising small events themselves. Scholarships are only provided for OBC and SC/ST students, and seats are very limited for scholarships.

Good as per my JEE score.

Placements: To be honest, the placement is not very good, but if you are good enough, you can grab a good package on your own from off-campus. The highest package mentioned on the website is 45 LPA, and there is no data about the lowest. Top recruiting companies are not specified.

Infrastructure: There is a temporary campus, and a new campus is under construction. Once the new campus starts, the infrastructure will be state-of-the-art. In the hostels, there is a charge for using washing machines, and there is no medical facility, but a charge is taken for medical services. Sports facilities are limited.

Faculty: The schedule is very hectic and tight, so there is no free time to explore new fields. There are no mid-semester exams, but there are end-semester exams. Regular assessments are also hard, and it is difficult to score well. The course curriculum is the same as IIIT.

College is good but everything is good depending on your goal and achievement.

Placements: In college, there is above 70% placement. The current package is 10 LPA on campus, and 40 LPA off campus in ECE branch. Companies like Wipro and Tesla keep coming. Most of the students got internships. But senior is giving efforts on his skills.

Infrastructure: Our lab facilities are too good. Wi-Fi facilities are okay, not bad. Classrooms are clean and good. Very short hostel life means due to busy schedule, all time only focus on our study because every month we have assessment exam after finishing assessment exam, lab exam starts after finishing lab exam, end exam starts which means schedule is fully tight. Mess food is average, not too good not too bad. Non-vegetarian always provide non-veg food. Vegetarian provides special items, but average. No sports facilities due to lack of platform.

Faculty: Teachers are too good, knowledgeable, and helpful. If you have any doubt, go to personal cabins he/she clear all your doubts. Schedules are too busy but professors always trying their best because it is difficult for everyone. Every month we have an assessment exam, second last month we have mid lab exam then end lab exam after completed lab exam end exam going on. Professors are helpful.

Other: Electronic and communication is good because of the rising semi-conductor industry. In the coming time, semi-conductors play a major role for ECE.

Good faculty, but dissatisfies with the placements and it is not a big college.

Placements: The institute has disclosed the 2024 placement data till May 27, 2024. So far, the overall placement rate stood at 76.20%. For the CSE and ECE branches, the placement percentage stood at 84% and 64.71%, respectively. The highest package offered was INR 40 LPA and was grabbed by CSE students. Out of 42 participating students, 32 were successfully placed during IIIT Manipur placement 2024.

Infrastructure: Wifi is quite good but there is no Lan connection for every student in the hostel. Labs are very good with good internet. Classrooms are having a digital board. The library is very peaceful. No canteen in hostel. Mess is not bad as well as not good. No medical facilities; they don't even care about you while students face any health issues. Sports and games are not bad.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and highly experienced the teaching quality was good. All facilities are highly qualified and experienced and they will say the new technology's and guide in a good manner. It's somewhat moderate and some are quite difficult.

IIITM: Highly Engaging Faculty, Exceptional Facilities, and Strong career Opportunities.

Placements: In 2022, there was 100% placement, with the highest package being 45.64 LPA on Amazon and the average being 9.90 LPA. In 2023, 81.5% got placed with the highest package of 12.5 LPA and the average of 8.7 LPA. The top recruitment companies are Amazon, Cognizant, Infosys, Deloitte, etc.

Infrastructure: This is not the permanent campus; it is on 13 acres, which is near the High Court in Imphal. Labs are extremely good; there are all kinds of labs, like computer labs, VLSI signal and system labs, etc. You can compare the quality in a computer lab. You will get computers with 32GB of RAM and Intel i7 processors. The library and mess are average. The hostel and canteens are good; we are getting 27x7 electricity and there is Wi-Fi with normal speed. Currently, the construction of a permanent campus is going on in Senapati, with a total area of 150 acres, which might be completed by May 2024.

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified, and they are very helpful, and the course curriculum is quite relevant to making the students industry-ready. There are three assessment exams and one end-of-semester exam that take place per semester. This helps them score good marks and almost 90% of students pass per semester.

Other: Well, I have chosen this IIIT because of it's excellent placements in 2022, although if this were the placement of this college without it's permanent campus, then after permanent campus it will be listed in the top IIITs.

Placement is good for year 2023.

Placements: Till now 82% students placed with the highest package of 45.64 LPA in Amazon. Average pack of our college for year 2023 is 12 LPA with the lowest package 7.8 LPA. Top recruiting company is Amazon, Jio etc. Most of the student got internship. Companies like public sapient, jio etc. Also visited.

Infrastructure: In the terms of infrastructure we have 13 acres campus which is city campus (Imphal city) and permanent campus is of size 150 acres in senapati which is going to start in 2024. you will get 24/7 electricity, water supply. Mess is average. Canteen is also available, you get wi -fi speed is good. Sports facilities are very good. We have volleyball court, football ground, chess, cricket, kabbadi.

Faculty: Yes the teach are very helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable also. Our course curriculum are very easy to understand. Semesters exam are little bit tough but students are very labrous. Almost 90% of the students are passed in semester exams because if you fail in one subject then you have to pay 12500 for one backlog subject.

Other: In March we went to kanchip for inter IIIT and we do well. Sports facilities is good in our college. In extracircular activities we conducted freshers party, fest and many more to conduct in upcoming time. The best thing in our course is our LAB which is very good.

Our college has good placements, infrastructure, and facilities.

Placements: Our college provides good placements. There are good opportunities if we develop skills. Almost all students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 46 LPA by Amazon. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 7 LPA to 8 LPA.

Infrastructure: Hostels are clean. Four freshers stay in a room, while three seniors reside in a room. Wi-Fi speed is average. A library is available. The mess food is good. Sports facilities are moderate.

Faculty: Our faculty members are good and friendly. They are excellent and lenient. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are based on notes given in classes.

Other: Our college celebrates many fests.

If you are getting ECE or CSE, IIITM can get you a high placement with a little effort.

Placements: In this year, a good percentage of students got placed. Almost 90% of students got placed from both ECE and CSE branches. The highest package offered is 11 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Jio, BYJU's, Nykaa, Public Sapient, Sigmoid etc. Few companies visit our college for internships.

Infrastructure: The campus is in the middle of Imphal city. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled with a good speed. Labs are well built and fully equipped. Hostel food is good. The infrastructure is good, but the college doesn't have its own campus. The college has its own playground.

Faculty: All the faculty members in our college are qualified, knowledgeable and well-trained and have a good teaching style. Everyone has done their Masters as well as PhD from any old IIT or some other renowned college. They are helpful. The course curriculum is up-to-date and relevant.
