The worst management of IIIT Manipur.
Placements: There are no placements at all. Seniors said that they have not gotten any help from the placement cell of the college. Not even a single time. They have struggled to get even an internship. All the claims are just false here; companies don't come, and those 2-3 companies that are interested don't pick students. This is the harsh reality.
Infrastructure: As for now, residing in the temporary campus, there is nothing good to say about the infrastructure. They have no better classrooms, nor do they have good hostels. The library is also not a better place to study; actually, you can't. The director doesn't care a bit. Even though in recent times he has been charging students for everything.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are good, but most are not teaching seriously. At the end of the day, we have to study by ourselves. They only come to use slides and then go back. One thing is that the questions are repeated. So get some PYQ and prepare to get some good marks.
Other: Connectivity is poor. The only secure way is by fighting. It will cost you at least 15k for one round trip. Fees are so expensive. Administration sees you as a bank. They charge a fine for anything. Not only this, but they had charged 60 for washing machines used to wash clothes.

Review of IIIT Manipur - Indian Institute of Information Technology.
Placements: The placement season has started for the 28th batch, and the training and placement cell is active as they are posting on LinkedIn to companies to come for the placement drive. Last year’s stats showed a placement rate of 70-80%, and the highest was 45 LPA, which was off.
Infrastructure: Hostels have nearly all the facilities needed by students daily, like Wi-Fi, a gym table, a bed, a chair, and an almirah in rooms, although washing machines are chargeable. The campus is temporary with limited, basic facilities; a new campus is in Senapati.
Faculty: Regular assessment exams are in place of mid-semester exams, with regular lectures leading to a hectic schedule in the first year; however, some relief is experienced in the second year as subjects decrease, and there are also good free hours. Faculty members are good and helpful, although there are some exceptions.

Based on my rank, a good one.
Placements: As mentioned on the website, 75% of students got placed so far. The highest salary package offered is 45 LPA. For the lowest package, there is no data anywhere or we can assume no placements in the lowest package. Recruiting companies also vary, as there is no placement table.
Infrastructure: It is a temporary campus with limited resources. Some classrooms are old, and some are new. For playgrounds, it also varies as the campus is small. For football, there is a ground, and we also have a basketball court, and nothing else.
Faculty: We have a very tight and hectic schedule. There are no mid sem exams. We have only the end semester. For mid sem, there are three assessments. Exams are held at regular intervals during the course, but scoring good marks again is difficult. Some professors are good, some are bad.

Satisfied with college.
Placements: According to website there is 76 percent placement yet the highest package goes to 45 LPA as mentioned in website no any specific data for the lowest package is available, and for major recruiting company it varies every year, for internship you have to work.
Infrastructure: As the college is running on a temporary campus, everything is with limited resources. There is a sports ground for table tennis and basketball; for other sports, there is no such facility. Classes mostly merge with other sections, which is good.
Faculty: There is a very tight and busy schedule of classes and exams. Assessments are taken in place of mid-exams, and at the end, there are exams. Teachers share good knowledge and are supportive, but they help students only if they have good behavior with them.

Based on my JEE rank, it's good.
Placements: According to the institute's website, approximately 76% placements have been achieved till May. I don't have more data than this. The highest package is 45 LPA, according to the website, the lowest is not mentioned and has not been shared with us. Top recruiting companies vary every year.
Infrastructure: The institute is running on its temporary campus. The temporary campus is clean but has limited facilities. For sports, it's good for football, tennis, and basketball, but for others, there are no facilities or grounds. Hostels are of different kinds, some new and some old.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable as they clear exams to get in there. Coursework is similar to other IIIT curricula. Semester exams are assessment exams, three assessment exams, and then the end of the semester. There are too many tight schedules in the first year.
Other: Good life, but as Imphal is in the northeast, there are mostly hills.

The students are advised to attend the lectures regularly and also Extra Academic Activities (NCC, NSS, NSO including camps and other pre-publicised programmes) for which they have been registered.
