IIIT Manipur offers a four-year BTech programme at the UG level. Admission to the programme is based on JEE Main rank, followed by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) Counselling. The institute-specific qualifying cutoff is announced after the declaration of JEE Main result to manage the seat allotment process. The seat allotment process is based on the college cutoff and the candidate's preference for courses and colleges. The cutoffs are generally declared in seven rounds of JoSAA Counselling based on opening and closing ranks for each of the programme-specific specialisations.

IIIT Manipur BTech tuition fee is INR 8.8 lakh. The other fee components include a one-time fee of INR 15,000 and a hostel fee of INR 3.02 lakh. Candidates must also pay a security deposit refundable to them after the completion of the course. An Academic year at IIIT Manipur BTech is divided in two semesters each of approximately 17 weeks duration, an autumn semester (July-November) and a Spring Semester (January- April), the students are required to follow procedures and meet academic requirements in each semester.

IIIT Manipur BTech admissions are entrance-based. Students need to apply through JEE Main followed by registering for the JoSAA counselling. The application fee for JEE Mains is INR 1000 (Male unreserved/OBC/EWS category) INR 800 (Female unreserved/OBC/EWS category) INR 500 (SC/ST/PwD/Transgender category). Students should note that the fee is taken from official sources/sanctioning body and is subject to change. 

IIIT Manipur BTech eligibility requires the candidates to pass Class 12 from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and a minimum of 75% aggregate. Additionally, students must appear for the JEE Main exam and secure above the IIIT Manipur cut-off. Seats to the course are alloted through JoSAA counselling. The institute fills in the leftover seats through CSAB counselling.
