As per the latest report, IIIT Sonepat recorded 59.6% of the IT branch students were placed in 2024 placement drive at IIIT Sonepat. The highest and average package offered to IT students during IIIT Sonepat placements in 2024 was INR 40 LPA and INR 17.87 LPA,  respectively. According to unofficial sources, a large share of IIIT Sonepat alumni are placed in the Engineering sector, with a 70% share. The other top sectors that involve the majority of alumni are Education and Operations with 13% and 7% shares, respectively. Yes, IIIT Sonepat is considered to be a good college. The institute was established in 2014. It is a joint venture of the Government of Haryana, the Ministry of Human Resource Development, and the Government of India, with industries present in the model, known as the public-private partnership model. The institute has also signed MoUs with two institutes which include IIT Hyderabad and DTU.

 IIIT Sonepat JEE Main cutoff 2025 was released for admission to BTech course specialisations for various All India quotas. 

For the General AI category, the overall cutoff ranged from 27194 to 41492 for enrolment at IIIT Sonepat for the BTech CSE course. On the other hand, for the OBC AI quota, the first round closing cutoff was 11745, and the last round cutoff was 61875.

IIIT Sonepat offers admission to BTech based on JEE Main exam followed by JoSAA Counseling. The seat allocation is done based on JEE Main score of the candidates and availability of seats. 

IIIT Sonepat offers BTech in CSE and IT specialisations. Graduates from BTech have various career opportunities in software development, data analysis, and cybersecurity. Graduates are being recruited by top companies such as Microsoft, PhonePe, Flipkart, Navi Technologies, etc. The highest package offered during placements was INR 44 LPA. The average package was INR 12 LPA.

IIT Sonepat provides modern facilities to students. The facilities are offered in sports, yoga and extracuricullar activties. The Institute has hostels for boys and girls including single, double and triple occupancy rooms. This suits different budgets and preferences. 

IIIT Sonepat highest and average package offered was 41 LPA and 13.16 LPA whereas for IIIT Pune it was 53 LPA and 16.83 LPA. In addition, BTech fees at IIIT Sonepat is INR 7.2 Lacs whereas IIIT Pune BTech fee is also around INR 7.2 lakh.

JEE Main Round 6, has been released for admission to the BTech courses. As per IIIT Sonepat JEE Main cutoff 2023, the Round 6 closing rank was 27255 for General category candidates in All India quota for Information Technology. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

IIIT Sonepat offers admission to UG courses based on entrance exam scores. Students must complete the application form for the accepted entrance exam and get a good score for admission. 

IIIT Sonepat JEE Main cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the BTech course specialisations in the form of opening and closing ranks. The cutoff was released for all categories under the All India quota.

IIT, Sonepat offers undergraduate courses in the discipline of engineering. Admission to the courses is done on the basis of marks secured in JEE Main. Last year, the opening rank for B.Tech Computer Science & Engineering was 13184 and the closing rank was 17148. Graduates from the institute are placed in top-notch companies with an average salary package of INR 8-9 LPA.

IIIT Sonepat accepted various national-level entrance exams. These exams include JEE main, DASA, GATE, UGC NET, and CSIR NET. Candidates who clear the entrance exam need to proceed with the counselling process. The remaining seats are filled with CSAB Counselling for the final admission.

IIIT Sonepat offers a full-time BTech programme for four years. The programme is offered in CSE and Information Technology. IIIT Sonepat also provides PhD course and the duration of the course is for two years.

As per DASA UG cutoff 2022, the last round closing ranks for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering stood at 923 for the General category All India candidates. As in 2021, it closed at 757 . On analysing it can be concluded that the institute has witnessed an increase in the last few years.
