Overall, a good college at this level.

Placements: Around 70 to 80% of students get placed in college every year. The highest package of the year was 62 LPA, and the average is around 15 to 16 LPA. There is no specific data on the lowest package, but I think it is around 4 LPA. The number of students who got internships is not much, but a decent number of students got internships in their 3rd year.

Infrastructure: The college is not yet on its permanent campus, so hostel facilities are still under development. The college hostel buildings are currently being constructed and are expected to be completed soon. At present, some students live in private hostels outside the campus. Some students stay in college hostels, but there are only two hostels, and their facilities are not very good. Due to these limitations, hostel life is quite basic and does not offer many recreational activities.

Faculty: The faculty members in our college are very helpful and supportive. The teaching staff is well-qualified, and several professors have completed their Ph.D. from prestigious institutions such as IITs. Overall, the teachers are highly qualified. The course curriculum followed in our college is highly relevant and aligned with current market and industry requirements. The syllabus focuses on skills and knowledge that the industry expects from graduates. There are four examinations conducted in an academic year, with two exams in each semester. Exams are moderate, not too tough.

Honest review of IIIT Sonepat - Indian Institute of Information Technology.

Placements: In my college, in 2024, around 70.73% students got placed. Out of 41 eligible students, only 35 are placed from the CSE branch, which is not bad. The highest package is 40 LPA, which is excellent. The average package is 15.87 LPA, including both IT and CSE branches. Many students got internships from companies like Amazon and Microsoft. Many students are also placed off-campus.

Infrastructure: Currently, we don't have a permanent campus, so our classes are running in the temporary campus SBIT in Pallri. SBIT college also provides a hostel, so I would rate 2.8 out of 5 for it. Many PG services are also available. Our classrooms have a projector or smart board and ACs. Labs have proper machines.

Faculty: All faculty members are very good. Most of the faculty members have completed their PhD from IIT. 3 exams are held every semester, i.e., mid-semester 1, mid-semester 2, and end-semester exams. Mid-semester 1, mid-semester 2 exams are of 1 hour only, but the end-semester exam is of 3 hours.

Other: I wish that we would soon shift to our permanent campus, which might be completed in January 2026. There is a sports fest named AGNITO in our college. Many students get scholarships from the state government, central government, and private also.

It is a great college with great faculty members.

Placements: I am a B.Tech CSE (Data Science and Analytics) student at IIIT Sonepat. Our placement rate is 85%. The package offered ranges from 6 LPA to 45 LPA. The average package is 12 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and Flipkart. Many students secure SDE internships at top tech firms.

Infrastructure: IIIT Sonepat has modern infrastructure with campus-wide Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, and advanced CS labs. Hostels are comfy with Wi-Fi. Mess food is average but hygienic. Medical aid is available. There are sports facilities including cricket, football, etc.

Faculty: Faculty members at the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Sonepat are qualified and supportive. They emphasizes core subjects and practical learning. The CSE course curriculum is industry-oriented. Exams are moderately tough with a 90% pass rate. The program prepares students well for tech careers.

Other: I am pursuing B.Tech in CSE at IIIT Sonepat, because of my passion for coding and tech. The industry-aligned curriculum and peer learning are strong points. More electives and better infrastructure should be provided, which would be helpful. Clubs, fests, and NCR connectivity are plus points here.

Placements are increasing every year. The new campus should be fun and exciting.

Placements: Placement at this college gives on average 17 LPA and the median is 13 LPA. Overall placement is decent enough. Top roles offered are of sides. About 20% on campus placement and the rest is off-campus placement. Internships are about to be started by college professors in research fields.

Infrastructure: The college's new campus is under construction and we are about to move to the new campus by the end of this year. The new campus should be fun and exciting to live and study. The campus in which we are now provides everything as a bare minimum and gives everything basic needs for a technical student.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. They have did Ph.D. from IITs and have a good teaching style. The curriculum is relevant and also provides good industry knowledge. Semester exams are good and also provide enough knowledge of the subject.

Good future college (not quite now).

Placements: The placement of this college is decent, the on-campus opportunities are average, and overall 60-70% of students were placed with an average being around 16 LPA. The placements are expected to get better as the college is in the national capital region, also we will be shifted to the new campus very soon.

Infrastructure: There is no infrastructure in our college at this point, no stable Wi-Fi even in labs. The hostel situation is a mess, half of the first students reside in an 8 8-seater room hostel, but there is also a hostel outside the campus around 1 km away. The situation is expected to get better this year with the new campus and hostel.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified with most of them being qualified from IITs. Overall faculty members are good and supportive. Some of the faculty members are really not that into teaching, but they are lenient while checking the papers. The exams are quite easy and scoring.

Placements: I belong to the B.Tech CSE batch of IIIT Sonepat. The placement is around 85% of students. The highest package is 45 LPA, the average is around 12 LPA, and the lowest is around 6 LPA. The top companies that recruit are Amazon, Microsoft, and Flipkart. The majority of students get internships in top tech companies as SDEs.

Infrastructure: IIIT Sonepat has Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, and well-stocked CS labs. The hostels are good with Wi-Fi. The mess food is average but clean. Medical assistance is provided on campus. Cricket, football, badminton, and indoor games are available as sports facilities.

Faculty: The staff at IIIT Sonepat is supportive and qualified. The teaching is good, with an emphasis on core and practical concepts. The CSE course is industry-oriented. The tests are moderately difficult, with a 90% pass ratio. It prepares students well for a career in tech.

Other: I’m a part of the B.Tech CSE batch at IIIT Sonepat. I opted for CSE due to my interest in coding and technology. The curriculum is industry-oriented, with good peer learning. Increased electives and improved infrastructure would be beneficial. Fests, clubs, and Delhi NCR connectivity are plus points.
