IIIT Delhi MTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi offers MTech courses in a full-time mode. The two-year duration course is divided into four semesters. Some of the offered course specialisations are computational biology, computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering, etc. Admission to IIIT Delhi MTech is based on merit in the GATE/PGCAT-IIITD exam (except for the Computational Biology course). For admission to a few MTech courses, candidates must also go through an interview round.

IIIT Delhi MTech course admission begins with the release of the GATE notification. As per the GATE 2025 schedule, the application form was out in Aug. STEP 1: IIIT Delhi MTech Application Process 2025
IIIT Delhi MTech admission begins with the application procedure. Eligible candidates can apply online for the desired MTech course. The step-by-step MTech application process for is explained below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of IIIT Delhi (iiitd.ac.in).
Step 2: Click on the MTech course from the ‘Admission’ tab.
Step 3: Click on the respective application link.
Step 4: Read the instructions carefully and fill out the application form.

STEP 2: Release of Cutoff List
After the application process is concluded, the institute releases a cutoff list. Candidates with a GATE score equal to or more than the cutoff marks become eligible for admission. In addition, for MTech CB (DBT) admission is based on GAT-B score.

It is mandatory for students to have a valid JEE Main score for admission to the BTech programme. However, for Delhi-based students, admission to IIIT Delhi BTech CSD and CSSS programmes is done basis of UCEED rank and Class 12 marks, respectively. However, it is still mandatory that the students fulfil the course-specific eligibility criteria.
