Admission to PGPEx in IIM Visakhapatnam is based on the candidate's CAT / GMAT / GRE Score Sheet (if applicable) and IIMV Test score. Candidates are required to apply to CAT/GMAT/GRE if they want to opt for the national entrance test for admission. Step 1: Visit the official website and click on the PGPEx application form link.

Step 2: Candidates have to fill out the online application form online at the official website.

Step 3: Upload all the required documents with the application.

Step 4: Pay the non-refundable fee mentioned in the website.

Step 2: Selection Process

Applicants will be short-listed based on their performance in the CAT / GMAT / GRE / IIMV Test, as chosen by the candidate; evaluation of SOP, Technical Knowledge and Domain Experience, and Professional References. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the IIM Visakhapatnam selection process which includes personal interview. The interview panel will evaluate each candidate's performance based on such factors/parameters as General Awareness, Communication Skills, Quality of Work experience, Motivation, etc.

Step 3: Offer Letter

IIM Visakhapatnam offers final admission based on the availability of seats and a minimum cut-off on the composite score. The composite score comprises the performance in the Admission Test, nature and extent of work experience, SOP, and Interview. The composite total score will be calculated using a multi-factor model.

Step 4: Final Admission

For the final admission, candidates are required to pay the offer-acceptance fee or the full first installment.

• Copy of Government issued Photo Identity proof
• SSC, HSC & Bachelors’ Degree Transcripts or Mark Sheets
• Bachelor’s Degree Certificate
• Master‘s Degree Certificate (if applicable
• CAT / GMAT / GRE Score Sheet (if applicable)
• Statement of Purpose (SOP, not exceeding 800 words) for pursuing the PGPEx program
• Work Experience letters / Last Pay-drawn Certificates (LPCs) / Authenticated Salary Slips (First & Last) - indicating Date of joining, Date of leaving (if any) and duration of service. The work experience letters, LPCs or the Salary Slips, as the case may be, would be required for each of the employment positions served by the applicant)
• Copy of caste / disability certificate (SC / ST /NC-OBC /PwD / EWS) — if applicable
