IIM Visakhapatnam offers two courses under Executive MBA/PGDM. Post Graduate Program for Experienced Professionals (PGPEx) and The Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA). Admission to PGPEx in IIM Visakhapatnam is based on the candidate's CAT / GMAT / GRE Score Sheet (if applicable) and IIMV Test score, academic performance, work experience (if any), and performance in the personal interview (PI) round. Post Graduate Program in Management (PGP) is the flagship course offered by IIM Visakhapatnam. IIM Visakhapatnam offers various postgraduate and doctoral programmes such as PGP, PGPEx, PGPDGM, EMBA, PhD and MGNF. PGP is the flagship course offered by the institute. IIM Vizag admission to the PGP/MBA programmes is through Common Admission Test (CAT) followed by a personal interview round. Moreover, for the doctoral-level programem candidate with a valid score of CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE/JRF (NET)/CSIR (NET) are eligible to appy. Shortlisted candidates are invited for the interview round. IIM Visakhapatnam also offers scholarships to aspirants.
IIM Visakhapatnam admission in the PGP/ MBA programme is made through CAT exam and performance of candidates in Personal Interview round. IIM Visakhapatnam has no fixed cutoffs for admission to the PGP but candidates who wish to apply for phase 1 IIM Visakhapatnam course admission must meet the minimum percentile score, both sectional and overall.
