For IISER Tirupati BSc course admission, candidates must have the below mentioned qualifications:

• Candidates who have completed Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2023 or 2024 or 2025 with Science stream from any board recognised by the Council of Boards of School Education (CBSE) in India is eligible for IISER Tirupati BSc course. 

• Candidates must have taken at least three subjects among Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics during their Class 12 (or equivalent) examination.

• Candidates belonging to other categories are required to score a minimum of 60% in aggregate or equivalent grade in their Class 12 (or equivalent) examination.
• Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD are required to score a minimum of 55% in aggregate or equivalent grade in their Class 12 (or equivalent) examination.

3. KVPY Fellowship: Students holding a KVPY fellowship can also seek admission to IISER Tirupati. The institute offers direct admission to KVPY fellows.

• Reservation policies as mandated by the Govt. of India will apply
• Candidates belonging to the SC category are provided a reservation of 15% of the total seats
• Candidates belonging to the ST category are offered 7.5% of seats
• OBC candidates belonging to the non-creamy layer are given a reservation of 27%
