CSE and MNC courses in IIT Jammu are better than the IIT lower branches.

Infrastructure: C3i labs are highly equipped with the latest technology. It has new libraries, and a reading hall has been recently built. Classrooms are really huge and the biggest one has 160 seating capacity. We have Nescafe which is open on all days till 1 PM. We also have a canteen near the academic building. The food quality in the mess is not so good, but don't worry the breakfast here is always good, so students should not miss it. Medical facilities are available 24X7. Nearly every sports facility is p...

The college is good considering academics, hostels, and placement in tech.

Infrastructure: The classroom is air-conditioned and there are 2 libraries. There is a study hall too in which you can go and study. You will get institute Wi-Fi 24/7 in the hostel as well as classroom and library. The hostel has some study rooms and TT table setup. The food in the mess ranges from average to good depending upon the mess you get. Talking about sports, there is one football ground (one in the making too), one basketball court, one volleyball court, cricket nets, 2 badminton halls (one indoor and...

As this is a new IIT, the infrastructure is new, and the equipment is well-advanced.

Infrastructure: Our campus is operating on 35 acres right now, and it is expanding slowly. We have a very small library here, which is just adequate. The campus is fully equipped with WiFi. The hostels are not very impressive but are good enough. The mess food is the worst. We have sports facilities for badminton, athletics, football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, a pool table, gym, etc. We have a medical unit also.

It's a great place to live in with an amazing infrastructure and growing tech culture.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is great. It gives a luxurious feel. A new academic block has been built this semester only, which has bigger AC classrooms and well-equipped labs. The campus has access to 24/7 Wi-Fi with good speed. Mess services are okay, could be worse. Sports culture is improving day by day.

Getting an IIT itself is a big thing.

Infrastructure: Talking about the infrastructure, it is one of the best due to the new emerging IIT. Hostels are the best I have ever seen in my life with so many facilities, night canteens, and a good mess. Medical facilities are also good. A proper gaming area building is there, along with a huge ground for football.

An emerging 3rd-generation IIT with a good future.

Infrastructure: Hostel provides good basic facilities with very few issues. Lecture halls are well-equipped with modern technologies. Vending machines for snacks are available at various locations. However, the lack of sports grounds is a concern, as there is no cricket ground at present. A new sports complex is currently under construction.

Comprehensive, supportive, and growth-oriented college experience.

Infrastructure: There is no shortage of water here. However, there are no rooms with air conditioning, though classrooms do have these facilities. I am a vegetarian, and the food in the mess is average in quality. The registration process is simple and smooth. The library is open 24 hours, while the gym closes at 11:30 PM and the cafeterias stay open until 3 AM. On campus, you must return by 11 PM. There are some hangout places outside, including fast food spots and many restaurants. Yes, it is completely safe.

Good college in tier 3 IITs.

Infrastructure: The facilities are quite good. They provide full-time Wi-Fi. Labs have so much equipment. Classrooms are neat. Even the library has a vast collection of books. The quality of food is below average as you cannot expect anything much better because it is located in Jammu and I am a south Indian who likes to eat more spicy, they cook food which is sweet. Medical facilities are also good. They also conduct good events based on sports and games.

One of the above average colleges in IIT Jammu.

Infrastructure: Everything is fine but room cleaning is not so frequent. The mess doesn't provide non-veg because of some budget issues. But the food is okay and hygienic. The taste is not good but the quality is good. The 1st and 2nd year students have 2 shared rooms and 3rd and 4th year male students have 1 shared room with inbuilt air-conditioning.

The institute has great infrastructure and facilities and is one of the well-emerging third-gen IIT.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is rated 4.5 out of 5. The infrastructure is top-notch, with newly established hostels and well-facilitated. The quality of food available is rated 3.8 out of 5 (less spicy), and hygiene is great. Sports and Games are highly encouraged and well-facilitated. Students selected for inter-IIT events receive greater privileges, and the coaches do a perfect job in their respective fields.

About Indian Institute of Technology, Jammu.

Infrastructure: For 1st and 2nd year students (boys) sharing a room is given (2 people per room). It is quite sufficient and we are given a bed, table, chair, and almirah. Wi-Fi facility is good and library is not too big. Classroom infrastructure is good with multiple boards and projector screens. Labs are also fully equipped. The food in the mess is edible and canteen service is not bad. Medical facilities are good and constructed new block dedicated only to sports with nice equipment.

My great experience at IIT Jammu- A civil engineering student's perspective.

Infrastructure: Our Civil Engineering department at IIT Jammu has good facilities like Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, spacious classrooms, and a good library with many books. Hostel facilities are decent with clean rooms and regular maintenance. The food served in the mess is average, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Canteen offers snacks and quick meals.
