IIT Tirupati welcome aspirants from ASEAN countries to apply for PhD fellowships. The full-time foreign PhD research scholars are eligible for financial assistantship of INR 25,000 per month for the first two years and INR 28000 per month for next three years of registration. All such research scholars have to put in eight hours every week towards work assigned by the institute.

The list of documents required for PhD admission are listed below:

• Birth certificate
• Aadhaar number and PAN number
• First page of SSLC/ SSC/ matriculation certificate
• Copy of the submitted application form
• Original GATE scorecard or CSIR-UGC-JRF/ LS/ NET/ DAE-JEST or other fellowship award letter
• Degree certificate/ provisional/ course completion certificate/ grade cards/ mark sheets of all the semesters of degrees obtained.
• SC/ ST/ EWS/ OBC-NCL community certificate for the candidate belonging to SC/ST/ EWS/ OBC-NCL category (OBC-NCL scholars to bring a non-creamy layer community certificate valid at the time of admission)
• Relieving order/ Resignation acceptance letter from the employer in the case of full-time candidates, if employed
• Relieving letter, NOC/ permission and consent of co-guide from the parent organisation in case of external candidates

IIT Tirupati eligibility varies course-wise. Candidates are required to complete a minimum of Class 12 for UG courses and graduation for PG courses. Find below IIT Tirupati course-wise eligibility:

No, Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati does not offer direct admission. Aspiring students must have to appear for the national entrance exam for admission. 

• For BTech, candidates must fill out the application form for JEE (Main) through the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) (nta.ac.in).  
• For MTech, students must visit the official website of (appsgate.iitd.ac.in) to register online.
• For MSc, candidates need to register for IIT JAM through the official website (iitr.ac.in).

JEE Advanced 2026 result will be out in June 2026.

Candidates can check and download the JEE Advanced 2026 scorecard under their respective login on jeeadv. ac. in. To Download JEE Advanced 2026 scorecard, candidates have to use 7-digit roll number, date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY format, and the 10-digit phone number that they used while registering for JEE (Advanced).

Also, category-wise All India Ranks (AIR) of successful candidates will be available through the JEE Advanced 2026 online portal after the results are declared. Text messages will also be sent to the candidates to their registered mobile numbers.

Only those candidates who will secure minimum marks in JEE Advanced 2026, as prescribed by the IITs will be included in the AIR list for JoSAA counselling and IIT admissions. Allotment of seats will be solely based on the category-wise All India Rank in the JEE Advanced 2026.
