NIRF 2025 Rankings are out. As per the latest NIRF 2025 rankings, IIT BHU ranks 31 under the 'Overall' category, 22 under the 'Research Institutions' category, and 10 under the 'Engineering' category.
QS World University Rankings 2026 have been released. According to the same, IIT BHU ranks at #566 under the category 'World Universities'.
The GATE 2026 exam for admission to ME/MTech and PhD courses has concluded. Results are scheduled for release on Mar 19, 2026.
A few more updates are given below:
- The JEE Advanced 2026 application form is expected to be released in April 2026, and the examination will be conducted on May 17, 2026.
- The JEE Main 2026 registration for session 2 has closed for IIT BHU admission to BTech, BArch and BPlan courses. The session 2 exams will be conducted from Apr 2 to Apr 9, 2026.
- The IIT JAM 2026 exam is now over for admission to the MSc course, with the results expected to be announced on Mar 20, 2026.

For admission to BTech at IIT BHU, candidates must appear for the JEE Main and paticipate in the JoSAA counselling process.
