Good infrastructure, supportive faculty, decent placements, and enjoyable campus life.
Placements: At Indira College of Engineering & Management (ICEM), placements are decent, with around 60-80% of students placed in recent batches. Highest package offered was up to 27 LPA, while the average range was between 4-7 LPA, and lowest was around 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Amazon, Veritas, Coditas, Capgemini, and Force Motors, offering roles like Software Engineer, Data Analyst, Frontend/Backend Developer, and core engineering jobs. Almost all students also get internship opportunities through the college in reputed companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of my course is well-developed with smart classrooms, Wi-Fi facilities, modern labs, seminar halls, and a central library with books, journals, and e-resources. Department provides practical learning through updated systems and project space. Hostel facilities are comfortable, with clean rooms, Wi-Fi connectivity, laundry, and 24/7 security. Mess and canteen offer hygienic and affordable food with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, though the taste could be improved. College also provides medical facilities with a first-aid center and tie-ups with nearby hospitals. Sports grounds, indoor games, a gym, and extracurricular activity spaces encourage overall student development.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and they use practical examples and projects to make learning effective. Teaching quality is good, with a proper balance of theory and hands-on practice. Course curriculum is fairly relevant to current industry needs, though more industry collaborations and workshops could make it even better. It focuses on technical knowledge, problem-solving, and skill development, which helps students become industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult but manageable with regular study and guidance from teachers. Overall, pass percentage is high, generally ranging between 85% and 90% every year.
Other: I chose this course because of my deep interest in technology and its strong career opportunities. Best things about my course are the supportive faculty, practical-based learning, and well-equipped labs that help us gain real knowledge. However, I feel the curriculum could be improved by adding more industry tie-ups, internships, and advanced workshops to enhance industry readiness. College organizes various cultural programs, technical fests, and extracurricular activities that make campus life lively and enjoyable. Campus crowd is diverse and friendly, with peaceful surroundings, good connectivity, and scholarship opportunities available for deserving and hardworking students.

Had great years of my college life.
Placements: I don't know about the package because I got an internship off campus. They started working at the same company. So it's pretty great for me.
Infrastructure: The library is also good, the staff is helpful, and overall, I never have any problems or trouble with facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are good, and the course curriculum is also great. It does make one ready, but as I said, you can't solely depend on the college. In the end, it's you who develops the skills. They do their best to help you out.
Other: It is great, like what one would expect from a college. Of course, there are some downsides. Nothing is 100% perfect, but overall, it is great. As I didn't have to depend on college. But according to one of my friends, it's average, like what any college would provide. I mean, it's a good college.

The college offers a vibrant campus life.
Placements: The college provides a good balance between academics and extracurricular activities. A good college for students looking for quality education and placement opportunities in the IT and CS fields. The Training & Placement Cell is helpful and arrange workshops, aptitude training, mock interviews, and personality development sessions.
Infrastructure: The campus infrastructure is satisfactory with clean classrooms, computer labs, and a library. However, hostels can be improved in terms of hygiene and food quality. Classrooms are clean and have SMART boards and projectors. Labs are updated with the necessary software and hardware tools. Library is well-stocked with reference books, journals, and also has a digital section.
Faculty: The faculty is supportive, well-qualified, and uses a mix of traditional and modern teaching methods. Labs are well-equipped and maintained regularly Teachers are approachable and supportive outside the classroom as well. Many of them have PhDs and industry experience. They also help with research papers and projects. You? Ll get support for NPTEL and other online certification too.
Other: Fests and c cultural events are held every year, giving students a chance to explore beyond academics. The college also encourages participation in hackathons and teach fests.
