B.E. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2028
4.2
I am satisfied with the college.
Placements: In our mechanical engineering batch, 70% of students got placed. The packages are between 3 LPA and 8 LPA to 9 LPA, with an average of about 4 LPA to 5 LPA. Companies like Tata Motors, Mahindra, Cummins, and L&T come for placements. Almost half of the students also got internships in firms such as Tata, Bosch, and Bharat Forge. Most of us are offered roles like GET, design engineer, production, or quality engineer.
Infrastructure: Our department has Wi-Fi, spacious classrooms, updated labs, and a good library. Hostel rooms are decent with Wi-Fi. Mess food is average but hygienic, and the canteen has variety. Medical care is available. Sports and cultural activities make campus life active.
Faculty: All teachers are highly supportive, encouraging, and student-friendly with good knowledge. As the college is autonomous, the exam pattern is slightly different from the university. The curriculum is updated and relevant, making students industry-ready.

Overall, the college is well and good. Last year, the maximum package was about 24 LPA.
Placements: Placements are good in this college. As a mechanical student, I think it's a better college for placements. In my course, about 80% of students were placed last year. The highest package in CS was 24 LPA, and the average is 9-11 LPA, which is pretty good. Many companies visit the campus, e.g., Amdocs, Persistent, TCS, etc.
Infrastructure: The course and the syllabus of the first year are good, as the institute is autonomous. This year, there is a slight change in the pattern and syllabus. The Wi-Fi facility is not that good. The classrooms' infrastructure is well-maintained. The library facility is also very good, and the maintenance of books is good. The canteen and mess infrastructure are very good. But the only thing is, if you are a day scholar, you may find some problems with eating tiffin. The sports facilities can be better.
Faculty: The teachers are very supportive and helpful in everything. As the institute is autonomous now, you will not face much difficulty in passing. The teaching quality is good, and you may find some problems in some subjects initially, but later it will be easier. Attendance is strictly 75% compulsory.
Other: Events are well-organized. I am in my 1st year, so I don't have much more information about it, but our fresher's party was awesome. There are many more extracurricular activities. The campus is not too big, but it's still pretty good, with greenery all around.

Our college is popular because of high packages placement.
Placements: Our department has about 65% to 70% placement. And the highest package is 13 LPA to 14 LPA. An average package is 3.50 LPA to 4 LPA. The top companies of our department are Tata, Mahindra Logistics, Finolex Cables, Force Motors, Hettich, and Blue Star.
Infrastructure: Our classes have projectors as well as digital and normal boards. There is also a departmental library. And there is also Wi-Fi service. The hostel also has Wi-Fi, and the mess is also good. Hostels can accommodate 3 or 2 children per room. The room has all the essentials.
Faculty: The teachers of our department are highly educated and have a lot of experience. They teach very well. And also help students. And all together prepare the students to enter the industry. The semester exam is a bit difficult, but if you understand it well, it is easy.
Other: I think this is the best course for this generation.

Placements are good and the facilities too.
Placements: For the mechanical branch this year, only 2 students got placed as the recession period was there, but there are a lot of companies visiting this college, there are good placements for other branches and it will definitely be better in the coming years for the mechanical branch also. The college is going to be autonomous.
Infrastructure: To be honest, college canteen food (same food is served to hostelers) is better than I had in other colleges; Wi-Fi is available; and the classroom and library are good. I don't really know about medical facilities and games; Wi-Fi is only available for hostel students but obviously everything is known, even though no one tells.
Faculty: Staff are good as long as you are good to them. You have to complete your assignments on time; they are not that strict, but if you don't listen to them, it may reflect on your marks. But since college is going anonymous now, that doesn't really matter.
Other: There are some events; there are concerts every year (this year Sunidhi came, and it was great ). But college is not really famous for celebrating days (traditional days, Bollywood days, etc.). On the college campus, I personally like it; there are a lot of trees and lower plants but the campus is kind of small. The only thing that is not good is that the college is inside. I mean, away from the city, there aren't any good cafes nearby (within walking distance).

Review of Indira College Of Engineering & MGT.
Placements: For us, mechanical placement is the worst in our class, with only 25 students placed out of 75. TCS, L&T, and Datamatics companies visit here. We get internships from colleges in local companies with 7–10k stipends; some get unpaid internships. The top roles offered are trainee engineer and GET.
Infrastructure: The college has the facilities of an open gym, an auditorium, a seminar hall, and a common room. Free internet is available at the computer lab. The hostel is average. Ragging happened in our time, and I think now it's gone. Mess food is average quality; there are 3 canteens on campus. Sports ground preparation has started in our batch now; football, cricket and basketball courts have become like new.
Faculty: Teachers are Ph.D. qualified, and all have more than 6 years of experience. With teaching experience, they try to provide practical knowledge through teaching. The course makes the students industry-ready, and those who have an interest in IT college should attend separate sessions. Semester exams are difficult because SPPU conducts them.
Other: I chose this course because I have a lower MHT-CET score so I got mechanical instead of IT. The placement of core branch need to improve. An event or fest is organized every year in January.

Overall, a good private college to take up Engineering after MH-CET exam.
Placements: In our college, placement is top-notch, especially for CSE students. Nearly 90% of students from the CSE department are placed in very reputed IT firms like Jade Global, Datamatica, FIS Global, etc. For other departments, the percentage of students placed is a bit low than CSE which is around 50 to 60% But still, I would say that if you were a sincere and hardworking student, you will get placed in some of the other companies through this college. Placement support is very good, even passed out batches are given placement assistance for nearly one more year.
Infrastructure: Recently, ICEM has invested a lot in improving its infrastructure. This includes making the new cricket ground, improving existing football and volleyball grounds, and replacing new gym equipment and sports kits. Overall I would say this college promotes sports and cultural activities as well along with the academic curriculum.
Faculty: Faculty members at ICEM are supportive enough. Even if they have done their bit of taking lectures regularly, still they will help you out with your doubts anytime whenever you meet them on college premises. They will always try to teach you some new things which are not yet included in the syllabus and will also encourage you to take up new skills which are relevant to today's industries. This will surely help you in standing out in the crowd during placements.
Other: I chose to take up Mechanical Engineering courage from ICEM for two things - the first one is I heard a lot about the Mechanical department in this college, especially got positive feedback from alumni for this college, and the second one is I was always interested in machines from my childhood. Overall, I am really happy about my decision to pursue engineering in my favourite field from ICEM, Pune and I would like to thank the institute's management for making our industry ready and helping us to get placed in reputed organisations with decent salary packages.

College is not bad but not very good this is very long distance from citi area.
Placements: In our college 10 to 15 % of students placed in IT as well as mechanical companies and these companies offer 15000 to 18000 k. In our college, there were companies like sanmar, finolex, American axle, vanderlande, etc. The annual package offered by those companies is 1.5 to 1.8 lac.
Infrastructure: In our college no Wi-Fi facilities available. Computer labs, experiment lab, canteen, bus facility, are available here. The hostel is also available but fees of hostel and mess are high. Library, is available. Quality of food in this canteen is good. In this college drinking, water facility is not available on the 3rd floor.
Faculty: In our college teachers are good and qualified. Their knowledge is excellent this does not help to student because of low attendance. In this college 75 % attendance is compulsory, otherwise, HOD does not sign the Student file. Four to five days waiting is there for the HOD's signature.
Other: I like mechanical field.

Indira College of Engineering and Management was a good college.
Placements: I got placed in Finolex Pipes as a production engineer and operator. Placements were good in the field of computer engineering, but ECE, civil and mechanical branches don't seem to have many placements. Although companies visited, they offered low salary packages and non-worthy jobs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was good. Labs were good. Staff members were good at giving assignments and writeups. The canteen available on the campus was good. The hostel seems decent with facilities like water and food. Surroundings of the campus are clean. The college also provides a ground and sports equipment. I didn't face any infrastructure related issues during my tenure.
Faculty: Faculty members were good. The course was tough with only a few chances of getting placed. Most of the students prefer the mechanical course because of the advantage of one-year industrial implant training. Faculty members give a huge load of assignments and writeup work. The college charges high fees for bus facilities, and it is almost Rs. 26,000 per year.
Other: The campus crowd was rich. Surroundings of the campus were clean. Games and events were conducted in February.

If PCM score is 50%, then you can get admission in ICEM. Your JEE score is less, so you can apply for the direct admission process.

If you qualify the eligibility criteria 1) PCM -50% 2) Appear For MH- CET or JEE Exam If you have cleared these two, then come to the campus along with the documents for admission.
