All good but crowded campus.
Placements: VIT Pune's placement statistics are quite impressive. 86.2% of students were placed in 2023-24, with a slight increase. In computer science, the highest package was INR 9.68 LPA (2020), INR 10.2 LPA (2022), with an average package of INR 9 LPA - 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: VIT Pune has a 17.625-acres campus with modern facilities, including well-equipped classrooms and seminar halls. It has a central library with books, journals, and digital resources. We have separate hostels with Wi-Fi, CCTV, and security. We have sports grounds. It also has indoor games room and gymnasium. There are computer labs with internet and online resources. We have cafeteria, medical room, and auditorium.
Faculty: VIT Pune's faculty comprises experienced professionals with industry expertise. Many faculty members hold PhDs or have significant industry experience. A favorable ratio ensures personalized attention and mentorship. Faculty members often collaborate with industry partners on research projects and consulting work. Faculty members publish research papers in reputable journals and conferences. They provide guidance on academic and professional matters. VIT Pune's faculty plays a crucial role in shaping students' academic and professional journey.

Overall, a great balance of learning, placements, and activities.
Placements: At VIT Pune, placements are strong especially for Computer Engineering. Around 70 to 75 percent of students get placed each year. The highest package has touched 45 LPA-50 LPA while the average is about 7 LPA to 9 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Top recruiters include Microsoft, Deloitte, Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, Cognizant, Oracle and Morgan Stanley. About 60% of students also secure internships, with a stipend ranging from Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 40,000 depending on the company. The most common roles offered are software engineer, full-stack developer, data analyst, AI/ML engineer, and cloud/devOps engineer. Overall, placements are consistently excellent.
Infrastructure: Our courses are carefully designed and verified by alumni working in top industry positions, ensuring they match current market needs. The department provides Wi-Fi, modern labs, smart classrooms, and a resourceful library. The hostel is about 4 km away from the college, with transport facilities available. Hostel facilities are decent, while the mess food is average but manageable, and the canteens are good and reliable. Medical care is available on campus with nearby hospital tie-ups. Sports facilities include grounds, courts, and indoor games, offering a balanced environment for academics and extracurricular activities.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable, and most are approachable outside class too. The teaching quality is good, with a mix of theory and practical focus. The curriculum is regularly updated and verified by alumni working in top industries, so it is quite relevant and helps make students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate, not very easy, but manageable with regular study. The pass percentage is high (above 90%), as the institute supports students with guidance and remedial classes if needed. Overall, the course prepares students well for both placements and higher studies.
Other: I am from the computer engineering course at VIT Pune. I chose this course because of my strong interest in coding, problem-solving, and the excellent placement opportunities it offers. The best part of the course is the industry-verified curriculum, supportive teachers, and good exposure to projects. I wish there were more advanced electives and stronger research opportunities. The campus life is lively with events, teach fests, cultural festivals, and active clubs. The crowd is vibrant and competitive, with good connectivity to Pune city. Scholarships and extracurricular activities add to a well-rounded college experience.

Review of Vishwakarma Institute of Technology in Pune.
Placements: At least 70-80% of students got placed last year. The highest package is 15 LPA and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Tech Mahindra, JP Morgan, etc. Almost all students got internships who are serious about their careers and have done DSA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not so well-structured. It has Wi-Fi but with low speed. Computers in the lab are not so good working. The hostel fee is much more than their facilities. The working staff members in the hostel are not so well as per the fee structure. It is far away from the college.
Faculty: Teachers are excellent. Their teaching is so well-disciplined. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. There is a project-based learning. The pass percentage is 35%. Exams are conducted in a strict way. There is no chance of cheating. There are projects assigned to everyone.
Other: I chose this college because of placements.

Great college for AIML with good faculty members, modern labs, and active campus life.
Placements: Though I am currently in my first year of AIML I have integrated with seniors and faculty members regarding placements. VIP Pune has a good placement record, especially for CS and AIML branches. Top recruiters include Infosys, Cognizant, TCS, Zensor, and some startups in AI and data science. Roles offered include data analytics, software developer, and AIML engineer. The highest package last year was around 25 LPA off-campus, on-campus combined with the average of AIML ranging from 6 LPA to 10 LPA. Around 80% of students get internships by the third year.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are equipped with projectors and smart boards. Labs are well maintained with decent configurations for coding and AI related tools. Wi-Fi works well but can be lacking during peak hours. Hostel facilities are average. Rooms are okay for living but the mess food can be hit or miss. There's a good library. The cost is steady space and medical facilities are available on campus. Sports ground is accessible for physical activities with some upgrades the hostile infrastructure can be much better.
Faculty: Faculty members of AIML are knowledgeable and supportive. They teach python, C Maths, and AI basics in the easy to understand way. The curriculum follows NEP guidelines and its industry aligns through more practical exploration like many projects could be added. Exams are conducted fairly and mostly check conceptual understanding internal assessments are sometimes rushed. But overall the academic involvement is encouraging.
Other: College Pride School facilities, experienced faculty members, and campus infrastructure for the features the placements and internship support also make it worth the investment especially if students take initiative and upskill themselves. Talking about crowd and campus life, the crowd is diverse and competitive students are friendly. The campus lab is vibrant with multiple clubs, events, and technical faces like Vishwa Karanda. There is a good mixture of studies and extracurricular activities.

VIT Pune - Courses and curriculum.
Placements: As the average placements of engineering colleges have fallen a lot VIT Pune has above average or even good placements as of the record 2023. But due to the high intake of students from 2024 we are not sure about the future. Still, this college has some strong connections with tech companies so companies do come also. The average package is around 7 LPA. The highest salary is 25 LPA to 30 LPA. See the rest I might say that it depends on student's approach to their studies. Obviously the branch that is in demand as well as contains many opportunities for student.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good its not a huge college short concise greenery. There is Wi-Fi in classrooms but like it gives slow speed. There is a great library a plus point for book readers. I don't live in VIT hostel but the negative point, it is not inside the college. It is located a little bit far from college which may hinder some people. There are many places to eat like 3 canteens, coffee shops, and bakeries juice centres also. The ground is small but still, it is fine for some short games and stuff.
Faculty: So I really support the curriculum that our college follows it follows a practical approach to learning things a lot as we are focused on different projects as well as assignments like coding assignments. The exam pattern is easy as we have mid-term online. The labs and coding exams are also offline. There are many subjects to train your speaking skills. Many technical clubs come in handy so overall a great curriculum for students, it does make them industry-ready.
Other: I chose CS due to placements as well as my future in coding I now generally find coding very interesting as it has many things to explore it's a big world also. VIT has some popularity in other cities as well so we already knew about this college. The events are great. There are many clubs depending on your interests, you can join those clubs. 3 main events are great also. Many individual club events where you can volunteer it's a great experience. About scholarships, it depends on your income as well as caste.
