B.A(Human Development and Family Empowerment, Psychology) - Batch of 2027

Great college experience and great infrastructure.
Placements: The placement is quite decent at IPCW, as many top tech and other companies, like Deloitte, Wipro, etc., offer internships and job placements here. Though the cell and opportunities are mostly for commerce and computer science backgrounds. Their offers and packages are good, with a lot of healthy guidance from seniors and teachers who provide help in searching for a potential career option.
Infrastructure: Our campus is one of the oldest and most charismatic campuses in the North area, with a well-built infrastructure that gives off regal vibes. The garden area is very pretty and is the best place to spend time between classes. Other than that, there is an auditorium, conference hall, and a large sports complex. Not all, but mostly, classrooms are equipped with air conditioning, which is comfortable. Overall, campus life is pretty good, though it is kind of secluded from the main campus area.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and, apart from bookish knowledge, provide great guidance. Their teaching method is good and helps in understanding the concepts clearly. As a psychology student, a great amount of understanding is important, which is undoubtedly provided here. Although there is a certain bias for honors students, the rest is great. Also, teachers teach in both Hindi and English, making it easier for students of both mediums to understand.
Other: I am a BA program student and would say there is a bias for honors students, but apart from that, the crowd is decent and well-behaved, which makes it easier to interact with people. We also have many societies like dance, music, and dramatics, which offer various programs to enhance the extracurricular of the students and help them build a good personality.

I'm satisfied. Good facility, faculty, crowd, and education.
Placements: There is a placement committee of IPCW itself called JEET, which helps with its seminar regularly. However, being a first-year student, I haven't heard of anyone getting good internship opportunities in my course from this college. Moreover, in psychology, everyone is completing their course only, and there are no specific internship opportunities for psychology students on IP as far as I have seen.
Infrastructure: IP is known for its infrastructure and greenery. Wi-Fi connection is not good at all, but the canteen area is clean, and the food is good (canteen, Amul, and Nescafé). The hostel's infrastructure is too good as well, including the variety of food. A large ground and gym for fitness is available.
Faculty: Teachers are really very helpful and qualified. Genuinely, IP is good for psychology students in my opinion. The course is good for a child psychologist and various fields in psychology. Exams don't seem difficult as professors and seniors are always available for help.
Other: IP has a dead society, it's true to some extent. They are actually active, people came to know very late about any event conducted by a particular society, and even the selection of some societies is left over because of not getting the information on time. There are some exceptions, like Abhivyakti (dramatic society), NSS, NCC, and the Western dance society, which are active. Moreover, the campus is good, and the crowd is fantastic. People are helpful, sweet, and kind. Seniors are always available. Events are conducted but very late, and most of them get postponed and cancelled.
