Overall, it is a good college where you can get admission.

Placements: The passing percentage of students in the Psychology course is 90%. It is very rare for someone to fail. Companies like HCL and startups come for top roles, but they mostly offer opportunities to commerce students. The average package goes up to 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: Facilities they offer are overall good. Students have access to the library and Wi-Fi. They also have good facilities for sports. The canteen and mess are neat. They have a good environment. The overall quality is good.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified. They have great knowledge. They provide knowledge beyond the syllabus and connect it with real-life experiences. Curriculum is relevant and helpful for students. The passing percentage is also good, and almost all students pass their exams.

Other: I chose this course based on my interest in this particular field.

Review of Aryabhatta College.

Placements: Although placements are not really good in the college, we do sometimes get internship opportunities via the placement cell. The highest salary package I have heard is 8 LPA in the college, but as a psychology student, the prospect is low, as we only get opportunities like HR.

Infrastructure: I really feel that hostels are a must. But the college campus is really open and has greenery. The new building sometimes can feel like school, but Kusumpur and Taregna old blocks are still better and not congested. Washrooms, although, are a really big issue.

Faculty: Other than some teachers, the overall faculty of psychology, I feel, is great and enthusiastic about teaching. Although attendance can be an issue. Please attend regular lectures and make sure to collect the material from the teachers case it really helps in the exams.

A genuine fun college with crazy ambience.

Placements: As a student of psychology, I only get opportunities for HR roles, mostly because I have to pursue a Master's and other diploma courses to actually start working as a psychologist. Although courses related to business, like BMS, BBE, and B.Com, do get good internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: I really like the library here as I can read a lot of books. There are plenty of books of different genres. There is plenty of space to read, and facilities like AC and free Wi-Fi are available. There are no hostels in our college, which is an issue in most south campus colleges.

Faculty: We have genuinely qualified teachers with a lot of experience in the industry. They are willing to teach and genuinely make an effort to make sure we understand concepts. The material we are provided with are really helpful for exams and overall understanding.

A pretty decent college life.

Placements: The college does provide some placement opportunities. The placement cell is very active and provides internships and other job opportunities. Definitely, it is not on par with the North Campus college placements. But according to me, the internship opportunities are decent.

Infrastructure: We don't have any hostel facilities, but the infrastructure is really good. There is a lot of greenery, which is one of the most favourite things about this college. Although we don't have a full-size auditorium, instead we have a student activity centre which is decent too.

Faculty: I am pursuing Psychology Honours. Honestly, faculty members are really understanding and really aware of what they are teaching, which really helps us in the exams. Overall, I feel the faculty is amongst the best in the DU circuit colleges.

A decent average college and is good if you are willing to focus.

Placements: I have never heard of anyone ever getting an internship from my department in my college. At the same time, it makes sense that my field does not guarantee a job after graduation, though there are still some roles that can be provided where the lack of effort from the college is highlighted.

Infrastructure: Hostel facility is not provided by our college. For infrastructure, we have a pretty good library, which I personally really like. Its collection of books is very good. Wi-Fi is something that is never operational, no matter how many Wi-Fi connections we have. The lab is decent enough to work, and the classrooms are also decent, with the fact that there is no broken furniture. There are projectors in almost every class, though air conditioning would have been nice.

Faculty: We have fantastic teachers. There are definitely some outliers, but they can be ignored. Professors are well-versed in their subjects and are supportive outside of the curriculum as well. The course curriculum could have been way better. We are practically studying what was taught in Europe years back, nothing new, though the nature of the field is such that the outdated syllabus at times is also interesting. Semester exams are hard because of the fact that personally, no matter how well I study and write answers I don't seem to get satisfactory marks according to me.

Other: There are no events as such. The college is pretty mid and decent. It is good if you are willing to focus. The campus is quite aesthetic, though the washrooms can improve.

Aryabhatta College review B.A. (Hons.) Psychology.

Placements: Usually, entry-level consulting offers are available. Some of these opportunities have a basic requirement for a specific course, such as commerce. But most of these opportunities are open to all students across courses. Usually, 3-4 LPA is the package offered to our students.

Infrastructure: Facilities are up to the mark as per university standards, with the college also expanding them. There is good Wi-Fi and library facilities. The washrooms are clean, and women’s hygiene products are also available in the girls' washrooms. There is also a canteen that serves good and affordable food to students.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and experienced. The curriculum is relevant to the course. The semester exams aren't difficult if you start preparing along with the class tests conducted throughout the semester. The course material is available online, and you can ask your professors to share relevant course material too.

Other: I chose this course, B.A. (Hons.) Psychology, at this specific college because it is the only co-ed campus for psychology in the university campus region, North and South combined. Events, etc., are organized throughout the year. Students can be a part of different college events too.

Mid-college, if you let it be mid.

Placements: Placements are usually found through connections. In this course particularly, direct hiring is less common in the industry. It is more favourable to venture out and do your bit of networking. Usually, jobs are in private practice and clinics. So, the salaries vary a lot.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average overall. Classrooms and labs are functional for daily classes, but it is not the crème de la crème. Wi-Fi often drops across floors, especially during internet traffic. ACs in key areas help, though. They make it easier to focus on the lectures. However, ACs are only available in labs and a few classrooms. There is no hostel on campus. The canteen is decent. Other basic facilities are available for medical, sports, and other activities.

Faculty: Teachers are very learned people with years of experience. I do feel that the faculty is understaffed, at least for our department, with the NEP and fourth-year addition. A lot of problems in college are administrative, not educational. Things are getting better bit by bit.

Other: College life is the reason, as it is situated in South Campus. It provides opportunities for inter-college interaction and has a diversified student base from all over India. RLA and Aryabhatta do need to reconcile over the MoU for the ground rights so that extracurricular activities and fests are better managed and security is improved.

Placements: Placements do come to our college. They regularly update us about different internships and different working opportunities. I really like how the college promotes the placement cell that enhances our chances of getting internships and employment opportunities.
